J & J Window Wash

We are thinking about listing our home, so we've been doing a lot of cleaning. We hired J&J Window Wash to clean our windows inside and out. We have a two-story home with solar screens. Shanklin was working by himself. It took several hours, but he was very diligent. He cleaned all the windows, removed the screens, cleaned them, cleaned all the tracks and vacuumed them out. Then he power washed the garage floor, removing the tire marks and did the same for the driveway. He was fun, engaging and very professional. These folks are much better than the last window cleaners we hired who wouldn't clean anything above our alumiwood awning. J&J did it with no reservations or hesitations. We didn't even have to ask. Top notch service. J&J will be our go-to company for window washing from now on.

I chose J & J Window Wash after a neighbor referred them. Seeing such a high rating on Yelp and after checking the BBB (no complaints) I called Shawn (the owner) and set up an appointment. He answered all my questions and I was happy that he could schedule an appointment in one week.

Shanklyn and Al arrived early, but I was fine with that.  Had they called to let me know they were on their way, I could have let the gate guards know.  I asked for I.D. which they both graciously gave me, and then they got right to work. One worked inside (wearing booties over his shoes to protect my floors and carpets) cleaning windows and tracks, the other outside cleaning windows and screens. Both were professional, polite, and hard working. They answered all my questions while doing an amazing job on the windows. But the magic was what Shanklyn did with the screens! They look brand new!! They finished right on time. 

 I felt the job was worth the price, but I am rating them a 'B' in Price, only because there were no coupons listed on Angie's list and some of the "A" rated companies were less expensive.  Also, I did not see a job quality check list noted in other reviews and on their website, but since I was here the whole time they were working, I observed the outstanding job they were doing throughout the process. 

I feel Shaun gave me a fair price, and, I believe, you get what you pay for! The work was exceptional, the men are experts in what they do, and I will definitely hire them again!

They showed up over an hour late. I had to ask them to go back and clean several spots they missed. There were also a few paint splatters on some of the windows which I asked if they could get off and they said no that wasn't included in the package I bought. The track cleaning was more of brushing the dirt around in the track than actually cleaning it out. Would not use them again.

The window washers arrived at 1:30 when the appointment was for 2:00. I don't know how the time was changed when I had made it clear that I don't get off work until 1:40 and would rush home to be home by 2:00, but was assured that the crew could start on the outside. As I arrived at 2:10 they had started washing screens and had not started windows. There was a mention of me being late but I thought they were talking about the 10 minutes. Then I saw a message from the owner on my phone which started with how I was late for the 1:30 appointment. I tried to call him, but he didn't answer. I was going to add all the inside windows, if possible, but he didn't call me back until his crew was gone. As his crew was cleaning screens, I saw that one of them was allowing the chemical cleaner on a newly planted bush. I later found that bush had also been crushed and the branches were tossed back on the plant to make it look undamaged, but when the branches began to dry, we saw the damage. Later, I got a call from my landscaper, who told me she saw the window washers arrive as she was leaving and returned to make them aware of the newly planted bushes. The window washers intentionally hid this from me and were anxious to get done and out of there.
The owner he offered to waive the additional cost for the extra windows and the 3 inside windows. I accepted that, but feel like this was a mess from the start.
Overall, the window washing was great, the other mix-up left me feeling like I didn't want them back in my home.

It was perfect and will use and recommend this group as often as I can.

Now, I hired a service due to my age and health as I can no longer stretch and bend to do this job. When I hire someone I expect them to give me good service and I don't want to follow them around to check on the job. I simple can't do that. I suppose it was my fault for not checking the job when they were done. |They completely missed doing one window. The screens were not washed with a brush as the inside frames were still caked with dirt and the screens were not put back properly (were not tightened down). Will not use them again. The 12 windows took about an hour and I don't consider that amount of time was for a good job.

We just bought a house and purchased an angies list deal to have our windows washed, screens cleaned and tracks cleaned. The window washers showed up almost an hour late and did a below average job. There were still several spots on multiple windows even after I pointed out areas that needed to be redone and while they brushed out the tracks they were still very dirty.

The service went very well. They were prompt and professional while in my home and I would recommend their service to others.

The work was excellent, especially considering the windows and screens had not been done in five years. The workmen were early so they were already setting up ladders when we returned from exercising. They had called and left a message.

Overall the experience was excellent. Two workers arrived at 8:30 am and began very quickly on the patio doors. One cleaned inside and the other cleaned outside. Then they proceeded to clean the 3 bedroom windows. I was very satisfied with the price and work done.

I bought a coupon on Angie's list. I paid extra as I had additional windows done. They responded quickly. He offered me a good deal for the interior and exterior. They did a good job. I was happy with them.

They provided good service. When I called them, they called me back right away and provided the service. I thought that they did a good job. They were going to be late but they called me ahead of time saying that it looked like they were going to be late. They were very professional.

They called on time, forgot to doo screen track, built otherwise did a fantastic job my windows are sparkling.

I have a house that has lots of windows. Some I would have to had to buy or borrow a huge ladder. When I saw Jand J Window Wash on Angie's list, I thought I would try them out. The price was reasonable and they answered the phone, made the appointment and where there on time. The two man crew was very nice and professional. They did a great job and even cleaned some of the cobwebs on a hanging light. The windows and screens look great. I was happy to find them and would use them again.
