Carpet Installation
They did a good job. The service was good. There was no bad part. They came in, did what they were supposed to, and left. There were no problems. It was expensive, but it was worth it. Their professionalism was very good.

My experience was fine. I had used them in Las Vegas, but Home Depot used some subcontractors, for which I would give them a 'C' grade. Some parts were found missing after the work was done, and there was some confusion about the job as well. It was not worth the cost of what I expected, and what I expected of the supervisor as well. I am using them right now, for an air conditioning inspection and service.

The price was competitive and the the refrigerator was available so they were able to deliver it within a reasonable time. They also took away the old one. I don't think I got charged extra for that.

WORK WAS PERFORMED BY HOME DEPOT CONTRACTOR AND ALL WORK WAS PROFESSIONALLY COMPLETED AND CORRECTLY INSTALLED . INSTALLERS CALLED AHEAD AND WERE VERY EFFICENT WITH TIME AND MATERIAL. CLEANUP WAS GOOD .

I needed to get an estimate of how much replacing all of the windows would be. At Home Depot, the representative would not even try to ballpark it - he said the only thing to do would be to have someone come out, take measurements, and give me a written estimate. He stressed over and over again how this was a free service and the only option. Finally, I agreed and made the appointment for 9:00am on Saturday, October 29.
The representative showed up late - at 9:20 - without calling and without offering any kind of explanation or apology. First, he tried to talk me out of replacing the windows, which was unexpected. Then he proceeded to take all of the measurements and explained options along the way. This was the positive part of the experience, and the reason I did not give them an F. He was very knowledgeable about the different types of windows and options available, as well as the entire installation process.
Then came the worst part - when we were recapping, he told me he was going to have to go back and add up the numbers to come up with an estimate, and then he would call me to arrange a second appointment to go over them. I explained to him that I would prefer to have the quote in writing, and he responded, and quot;I'm not in the business of giving free quotes.and quot; I kind of understand what he was saying - that the free estimates are a way to get them in the door and win my business, but it was completely unprofessional to say something like that. I wasn't born yesterday, and I'm not going to award a project to the first guy who walks in the door. And most importantly, I want something in writing so that I can be sure I'm comparing apples to apples.
He promised to email me an estimate within a few days. It's now been 5 days, and I have yet to hear a peep - nor do I expect to.

Joyce of the Home Depot on Rainbow spent several visits with us at the store - was very accommodating in helping us determine what carpet and pad we wanted. Kati took over when we decided what we wanted to purchase - and she discussed thoroughly the provisions of the contract - made calls re delivery of carpet date. Was very satisfied with both Joyce and Kati in their handling of our purchase. Carpet installers arrived at given date and and did an excellent job and worked continually for 10 hours until all work and clean up was completed. I had a good representative from them come and talk to me about all the different options and pros and cons. The people who installed the windows were right on time and all the windows were in the house within a couple of hours. They were very neat and tidy in removing all the old windows and cleaned up very well. They were excellent. I thought that they were very efficient. They followed a schedule and you could keep track of what was going on with them ordering the windows and when they would be delivered. They were very prompt in calling to tell you where the order was and when to expect them to be here. They kept me informed and I could also go online and check it. The windows have a lifetime warrantee and I am pleased with them. I feel that it was a good investment. The installers were very good and worked well as a team. It was very painless and they did not disrupt my life for a very long time.

The carpet didn't last two years and when she came out to look at it, she said she had no idea what happened to it and she would try to get it resolved through the company. The company said it wasn't their problem and offered a 20 percent discount off of new carpet. I wasn't too happy with Home Depot.

Carpet Installation
I worked with a young lady called Emmy and she was wonderful. A lot of what I was doing, I was doing from Virginia because that's where I lived at that time. My son was here sort of helping me with the details and then I got out here in July. I went into the store, purchased and everything was very slick, was handled very easily and very professionally. I was very pleased with them. There was nothing that went wrong. My son was here during the installation and he had nothing but positive things to say about the installers when they came to install. I would definitely use them again if needed.

They did a nice job of installing the carpeting. The extra padding is very comfortable. The carpeting is a quality, name-brand carpeting; I just can t think of the brand off hand. The installers were very professional and nice. They got the job done in a timely fashion. I was happy with the service by Home Depot.

I had a horrible experience with this company. For one, the job was only supposed to take five weeks and it ended up taking five months. They kept on ordering the wrong cabinets. It took them two times before they finally got the order correct. After the job was complete, no one even looked over it to make sure everything was okay. I noticed myself that the cabinets were not even lined up right. I called several times about the problem and no one ever even made an attempt to come and fix it. I just gave up eventually and quit calling them all together.

Home Depot had a good selection to choose from and did a good job of installing our carpet. The price was a little higher because of the quality of carpet I received and the brand name of it. I am completely satisfied with the work that they did. We didn't get a lot of hassles during the installation process.

We called several different flooring stores before deciding on Home Depot. They gave us the best price and assured us that the contractors who install their flooring for them would do so in a professional manner. This turned out to be true. The job was done with meticulous care, and we are completely satisfied we made the right choice. The flooring is perfectly level, and the grout work was perfect.

I can say that I use Home Depot for everything. They have remodeled my entire upstairs, installed flooring and everything. I always get quotes before deciding to use anyone and Home Depot has always been the least expensive out of all 3 estimates I receive. I am very happy with the installation. I am also happy that everything turned out perfectly with the windows. Everything is aligned correctly and it all looks great. I paid about $120 for each window and that included the installation as well. I did not think that was to bad considering the one place I called wanted $1000 for each window. Now, that is ridiculous.

Home Depot did a very good job with the installation. The guy who had done the installation seemed to be a good guy and was very nice. The pricing was not very cheap; however, it did include the water heater and the installation. I would hire Home Depot again if needed.

Home Depot sent out a knowledgeable, helpful electrician to install my new dining room chandelier. He was punctual, professional and installed the new chandelier in less than an hour. I also had him due some measuring as I am planning to purchase some more ceiling fixtures from Home Depot and will need an electrician to do the installation work. He was nice to give me some background information on different types of fixtures and he charged a reasonable rate to install the chandelier.

Home Depot had subcontracted out their work. The plumbers had come right out after calling them. They had delivered the toilets, installed them and hauled away the old ones. They were very nice, cleaned up after themselves and we have not had any problems. The nice man left his number in case I needed him again.

Cabinet Making
Home Depot did not do a good job on our kitchen cabinets at all. The measurement was way off for our cabinets as there was a three inch gap between my sink and cabinet. I couldn't believe it, but they were going to leave it like that but I refused that idea. They tried to fix that problem by adding tile under our cabinets to lift it. They never did get it right. The cabinets were suppose to be all real wood and they were compressed cabinets. The shelves themselves were too shallow to fit any of my plates. That was not how we had designed them at all. I couldn't believe that we paid this kind of price for the service we received.

Home Depot was great when I called about my dryer, they sent someone out to fix it for me and I was pleased at how quick the service was. The clothes were not getting dry, my warranty had expired and Home Depot sent out an efficient repairman who discovered a plugged vent on the inside of the dryer unit. H e unplugged the vent, continued to clean up the rest of the dryer; I was pleased with the reasonable service charges
