HOLIDAY ILLUMINATION

I contacted the company to schedule an install on 11/13/2013. I informed Cathy that we only required the front and sides of the house to have lights installed. Twelve Hundred Eighty Dollars plus three percent to use a credit card. I stressed we liked the blue icicle lights on the top roofline and C-9 lights either clear or colored on the lower porch and garage door area. We did not need to spend $170 for two porch columns or $420 to decorate four medium bare trees in the backyard, or rent three reindeer for $140


Cathy called 11/14/2013 and canceled our invoice estimate after I questioned whether we could use more than just blue icicle lights. I was told it would cost more money if we used more than one style of lights. But I was NEVER informed how much more they wanted to charge us. Cathy politely told me that the owners did not want to have their lighting crew on the road and have to travel out so far when they had plenty of work scheduled closer in town. She also politely informed me that she was not paid to argue with customers and hung up the phone after I briefly vented my frustration and opinion on the matter while still being interested in getting the house professionally done once!

...So I learned that even by calling November First -- It was NOT cost effective nor time efficient for Holiday Illumination to do such a small priced job...

The lights went up just fine but they couldn't seem to get them to all go on at the same time and off at the same time.  I didn't need by the second but within the same hour would have been nice.  Also I had to call them 5 times to come out because there were trees and sections that never seemed to come on at all and it never really was resolved.  Our outside lights looked half done all the time.

Very badly. Horrible customer care and when we would call to ask them to fix the lights they would grumble that they had so many other clients who's lights were out as well.
