Very good listener, patient and communicates the specifics of the repairs needed very well. Wears booties in the house as not to track dirt into your home. Very reasonable prices for exceptional quality work. Would use again and also he is highly reliable. I highly recommend Hips Plumbing service.

My water heater started leaking, so I got a new one to replace it. So far, so good. Water heater is a pretty easy swap. Nothing is ever simple. When I tried to turn the water back on to the heater, I discovered that stop valve for it was busted and wouldn't re-open. Got a self fix solution and did that. That was when the next stop valve ALSO broke and wouldn't open. So I went from no hot water, which is doable for a day or 2, to no water at all. Which really isn't. I called a few plumbers from Angies List and got hold of Hip at Hip's Plumbers who could come over that night. He quoted me $250 to replace the valve, which seemed reasonable considering the urgent call and all. Once he got done with that, I asked him about the other broken cutoff valve, for the sprinkler system, since he was already here. $125 to do that one, so I told him to do it. He also installed a new water heater pressure relief pipe (the old one was too short) and hooked up the vent pipe for the new water heater. All for $375. I'm pretty happy and would recommend him. We had a problem with a faucet in the tub—very difficult to turn and eventually the handle broke We called Hips Plumbing after reading reviews on Angie’ List. We were planning to change out our kitchen sink so we decided to get a quote for that also. His quote for all jobs was more than reasonable. Work completed as follows: 1. Bathtub cartridge and faucet in bathtub (he saved us money by reminding us that Moen products have a lifetime guarantee—we got free replacements) 2. Toilet handle and flapper replaced. This was serviced several times before with a different plumber, but we still had problems with the toilet. 3. Remove old sink and install new sink, faucet, garbage disposal. Replace valves. 4. He also fixed a few stoppers in our sinks which weren’t attached—no charge Bottom line. We are so very pleased with the results. Hips is very knowledgeablle and skilled in plumbing. He made a follow up call to make sure there were no problems. We will definitely be using him again.

Hip brought his camera and showed me exactly what was going on and his solution. He and his son dug up the collapsed pipe and installed a new one. Although he had contracted to do a jetting of the system, after he replaced the pipe, he saw there was no need to jet the lines. I would never have known this and he could have done it , but he is too honest and cost himself a few hundred dollars in fees, but he was more concerned with doing it right and making sure I was happy. He even returned a few weeks after the repair with his camera to make sure it was draining properly and not holding water,as it had before. If I could give an A+++ I would give it to Hip. The only downside for me is now a lot of other people will find him and It will be tougher to get an appointment !!!

Outstanding. Upon return and purchase of new unit he had $150 returned to him and he was honest about the return. With me being out of state I was elated that he was trustworthy and honest. It's really hard to find that nowadays! I would use him again anytime and refer him to any and all of my friends.

I would definitely recommend Hip to all my family and friends. He was very professional (cleaned all messes he made), he was very honest and understood the situation I was in, I forgot to mention my main line leak was a little over 5ft deep. His prices were very reasonable and was at my property within 30 minutes the first time and 10 minutes the second time. One other thing I liked was that he sent me a text picture of the repairs he had done both while I was at work, which gave me peace of mind. Thanks again Hipp!!

Great! Today, Aug 7 was the second time I called HIPS, for a separate problem. This time it was to install a shower valve replacement and install a new shower head that I already owned. Again he was on time, courteous, professional, efficient and left no mess. The price for the shower valve was $125.00 and he didn't charge to install my shower head. This guy has a rare quality; integrity.

It could not have gone better. Hip is the ultimate professional. He came late at night and had he not, I would have been in quite a bind because I couldn't turn the water back on to the house without this being done. I was quoted $150.00 and Hip honored a 10% off coupon. Hip is AAA+ all the way and I give him my highest recommendation.

Hip’s Plumbing, LLC was referred to me by a local neighborhood store after I explained the issue. I called Hip and he met me at my home within the hour. He did a thorough inspection and explained what the problem was, what he needed to do repairs, the cost, and the follow-up. I found Hip to be honest, affordable, accessible respectful and timely. I had another plumbing issue and called him. He explained that he was right down the street and would be here in 10 minutes. It was only after he arrived that I realized that he was having dinner and left to take care of my problem. I would never expect him to do this but he did and it speaks volumes about his relationship with his customers. I rate him a perfect 10 and would refer him to all friends and neighbors. He is an absolutely AMAZING professional.

I was given aa complete review of what was causing the leaks in the bathrooms. I was told the materials and cost to repair both bathrooms. The work was completed in a timely manner and I was satisfied with the results. Very honest and knowledgeable about plumbing and causes of leaks.

When Hip Hernandez, first came out to estimate my job, he spent a very long time clearly explaining all options so I could decide between a water purification system or the water softener and reverse osmosis systems. In fact, he came out two times in total before I gave him the job and I interviewed two other local highly experienced and recommended plumbing contractor's and decide he was the best I could hire. Hip's Plumbing is fantastic, really excellent in every category. Let me say, I have worked with a lot of plumbers and plumbing contractor's, as I have owned several homes and current own one now. I've been in the construction industry for twenty five years and spent ten years as a property claims adjuster for national insurance companies, so I'm a pretty good judge of plumber's and contractor's. Hip's Plumbing service is the standard that all plumbing companies should strive to attain in providing customer service and quality plumbing repairs. He is extremely honest, knowledgeable, communicates clearly, will answer all your questions, cleans up thoroughly and is very reasonably priced for high quality plumbing repairs. On top of it he has a pleasant attitude and is very carefully not to dirty up your floors or house. In my opinion, you couldn't find a better plumber/plumbing contractor if you tried. I had Hip come over to install a new water conditioner for me as my old unit had sprung a leak. He did an excellent job! He's very professional and personable (and licensed) and did everything in a timely manner. While he was there, he asked me when I last had my water heater serviced...I said, 'Never'. He showed me a new anode rod with the attached sacrificial metals on it ...kind of looks like sausage links (something I never knew about or heard of). He took my old one out ...the rod was bare as a bone, so I had him put the new one in. Thanks to Hip, my water heater will last a few years more. (Note: Sacrificial metals attract corrosion to them instead of various parts of your main tank) I would highly recommend Hip's Plumbing
