+ -1 moreArt answered my request for a quote within 15 minutes. He made me feel comfortable with what he was capable of. He came up on Christmas Eve of all days which worked great for us. Gave us a great quote and completed the job the same day. He was efficient, very nice and respectful, and made sure we reviewed everything to make sure it was to our liking. He had a very long day of painting my interior walls including stairway with extremely high ceilings. I would ABSOLUTELY use him again for any future jobs.

+ -1 moreI gave Art the colors I wanted. They were from the Sherwinn Williams site. SW was out of a two of those - the white and the light green - and he went to Behr and got the same code. Neither the white nor the green were the same as SWs. I caught the green in time to correct, but he'd already completed the white. I couldn't believe he didn't know that the SW and Behr codes are not identical. I do not want him to correct the problem because I think his work style is sloppy. He got paint on my a window, and he took me saying that the carpets and doors were being replaced to mean that he could get paint on them. He merely asked if I was keeping the doors, did not ask if it was ok to paint them, and then got paint on them. I saved money w High Definition but should have gone with AllPro if it meant a more accurate and clean job would be done.

Description of Work: Art Altman is absolutely amazing at his craft. When you hire Alt to do a job, you are hiring an artist! He definitely does not take short cuts. He started with power washing our house, and then scraping all of the paint chips off of the siding and the fascia of the house. Then be power washed the house again to make sure the new paint job would look perfect. I asked him to paint my house as close to Red, White, and Blue as possible because I love the patriotic colors. We decided on a Grey, Blue, and Red for the doors because white would get dirty way too easily in the windy Vegas weather. Art definitely did not rush through this job, he took his time (not in a bad way), and made sure the project was done to perfection. I believe the whole job took between 2-3 weeks. At the time of him finishing our house, I was hurt very badly and had to be taken to the hospital via ambulance for an emergency surgical procedure. While I was in the hospital, he even made sure my dog was taken care of and let him out since I was stuck in the hospital and my wife was stuck at work. All and all Arthur is an amazing worker and person. He can be trusted for anything you need done. We will be hiring him very soon to have our roof replaced on our home. Don’t even second guess yourselves when it comes to hiring Art. You’ll be glad you did!! I also had Art fix a door frame that was cracked and split when we bought the house and never had a chance to repair and replace. He not only repaired the door frame and jamb, but he also painted the frame
