DO NOT USE THEM! I repeat...DO NOT USE THEM! Our Ac downstairs was not cooling properly but still "running". Called them...came out and fixed. Had to wait a week for a part. Whatever. They over charged us by $2000! How do I know...same thing happened to upstairs unit today. Called Black mountain air and only charged us $300+. Tech said goettl does unnecessary work and charges out the a**! I'm sure goettl has some excuse like how it was all necessary and competition wants to bring them down blah blah. They know full well how they're ripping people off! I will write a negative review every day about those crooks till I get my money back from them. So basically that won't happen so bad reviews it is!

Met this company at the 2024 spring home show and they talked me into coming to my home to complete a "rejuvenation" of my HVAC unit. They were scheduled to come out on Tuesday, April 9th between 9 and 1. At 2:30 I received a call that they weren't going to be able to make it and ask to reschedule. We agreed on first thing Friday, April 12th between 8 and 9 so that I would be the first on their schedule. At 8:36 I received a text, NO CALL, stating that they were experiencing complications and had an influx of calls and that I would need to call their office to reschedule. I will never be using Goettl since this is obviously the way they treat their customers.

Last year Goettl installed a new air conditioner and furnace. The installers had to cut a couple of holes in our roof and move tiles and roofing paper. They were supposed to schedule someone to come back and fix this issue, but they have not done so its going on over a year now. Every time I've called and asked when this will be fixed I get the run a round. I ask for a manager and nobody answers or returns a call even. I've been living with a half finished job and a hole in my roof! All I'm trying to do is get them to finish the job properly and to insure there is no further damage cause by their failure to complete the job. Hopefully, my insulation has not been damaged. Hopefully, there is no mold growing in my attic due to teh gaping holes and tiles not replaced

Goettl does not want to honor their warranties. I contacted them 8 months ago with a problem that is covered under their warranty and they are refusing to contact me. I have had two of their techs inspect the problem and they both said someone would contact me. I have called and sent emails no less than 5 times for someone to call me and I keep getting their response that my concern has been elevated by email and someone will contact me withing 24 hrs. The refuse to call me and each time I call and ask to speak to someone in authority, I get the same sham of response that my concern has been elevated and sent by email and to expect their call withing 24 hrs. 8 months and counting and they refuse to call me to honor their warranty. They are the poster child for unprofessional customer service. I would leave a zero star rating if this site would let me. They have lost a very long time customer that has spent tens of thousands of dollars with them.

UNPROFESSIONAL, UNKNOWLEDGEABLE!! This "plumber" they sent to our home after we set an appointment with (Goettl) bc our toilet was backed up. My brother explained to him that the cause was due to tree roots growing and that an estimate for extraction would be needed. He (plumber) dismissed what he was told by saying my brother had no idea what he was talking about, then proceeded to ask my brother to take the toilet off while the (plumber) went outside n used a camera. The(plumber) then concluded that roots where the cause for the backup. My brother had asked again for the second time for an estimate and was told he wouldn't be obligated to provide one based on the owner of our home is our grandfather. My brother was called a squatter in Which case my bros response was for him to take the payment n go. He refused n then proceeded to call his boss. While on the phone the (plumber) left w/out payment. We called the following day n was informed that (Goettl) will no longer service us, said we were hostile n threatening him and obviously that's not the case at all . We used this company for the past 15 years for our air conditioning system which we still have in warranty n when we asked about that warranty was told they will no longer uphold bc again they will no longer service our home. The (plumber) disrespectfully called us names, refused to take payment, refused to give quote n even left the toilet disassembled, n lied bout his visit n management reinforced that behavior

Got a broken water pipe under your home? Who are you going to call? Call Goettl. We made the call, and we are awfully glad that we did. Unfortunately, broken water pipes beneath homes in Las Vegas are a rather common occurrence. We found out the hard way! Every Goettl Team Member (without exception) went to extraordinary lengths to minimize our inconvenience, and to protect our home and furnishings from an intrusive process. The Goettl Team deserves TEN STARS for completing our project efficiently, with the highest of professional standards, and for doing so while caring for our comfort and our property. We are Goettl customers for life.

First off he said he would be there at noon and finally showed up at 4:30 with no explanation. The price was outrageous! $1600. We also had a small leak and a hose needed to be replaced. He said it would be $600 but could do it on the side for $200. So crazy! We ended up going to Home Depot and got it installed for $99.

I want to thank GOETTL for the MOST PROFESSIONAL JOB installing a TANKLESS WATER HEATER, JESUS GONZALEZ worked hard and long , his PROFESSIONALISM CAN DO ATTITUDE restored my hot water in my house, and when everything was done, Jesus not only picked up the trash, he took that big box as well leaving my garage clean THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS YOU JESUS

Excellent! Speedy response, speedy installation. They went beyond our expectations going out of their way, taking off the stress. Highly recommended.

The plumber sent out to repair a cracked valve on the main water line ended up stripping the connection to the main water line, which resulted in my repair bill going from $1623 to $5500 (had to replace the whole water main line). The plumber told me he only heard about the connection, but never worked on one or saw one. In addition, he was surprised to find a line coming off the line to house for a hose bib on the porch. The supervisor told him that some houses have that type of tap off to the hose bib. The supervisor told me the plumber usually only does installations, not repairs. Overall, I have to question if this plumber was the right person for the job. The final backfill and clean up was poorly done and another plumber had to come up and fix the backflow preventer line and clean up trash left on the front lawn. And since the main water line repair, I have a small flow/dripping of water from the water softener drain line, which, according to the owner’s manual is due to foreign matter or particle holding open one of the drain or brine valves. I also have to question their commercials about doing things the right way, having integrity, qualified people, etc. I contacted company twice through letters and received zero response. This demonstrates the opposite of the words they use in their ads

Excellent. The service man (Bronco Koncar) did an excellent job and let me know what was needed. He was very professional - lit the gas fireplace for me and got the heating system running. Did small service for the A/C (coils). I have a monthly contract with Goettl that is very suitable for retired or fixed-income households. Am treated very well by office staff in establishing service and scheduling appointments. Am scheduling plumbing review in a couple of weeks. Bronco was one of the most professional and courteous technicians I have ever had and would highly recommend him and the Goettl Company.

They did great work, but it seemed really expensive.

Obvious scam quote, quote over $1700, done by others for less $500 ... also very high as it took less than 35 minutes labor and $5 parts. But... less than "Others" much less honest. By the way I am a retired engineer who has prepared and accepted many contractor bids over years.

I thought I'd for sure be happy with Goettl but to my surprise, I just wasn't. First off, yes, they're way overpriced. I was charged $149 to have a "trained technician" (as if they are a rare species?) come out and check a simple issue at a rental property I manage. Now, before I get much further, know that I have AC and Furnace experience of my own. I've fixed these things using my own bare hands. The fact that it cost $149 just to come out and check a non-emergency is preposterous. I can only imagine how much it would cost in an emergency situation. So, beyond the price, the technician spent about 5 minutes checking the problem, didn't give me or my tenant a quote, and told neither of us what was wrong for literally days. Do you know what its like having a ****** off tenant with a non-working furnace for days when its sub-40 degrees? I digress. In the end, I made 4 phone calls to them, only 2 of which were answered. The 4th one was me asking for a refund due to non-receipt of any sort of service. I paid for a diagnostic, and I didn't receive one. Thankfully I paid with AMEX who doesn't let companies like this bully their customers around. Giving Goettl until Tuesday (4 days from now) to pony up a refund or I'll just have my credit card company do it. As a business owner myself, I know how a dispute feels and it not only costs me extra, but also looks poorly upon my risk profile to my merchant processor. Sucks that I was hyped up about this company and totally let down in the end. Thankfully I've found another contractor already who answered within minutes and booked me for tomorrow.

These guys are great. we knew our AC unit and heater were old and it was going to be time to replace. No pressure to purchase and they gave all the information needed. The installation was done on the same day... PERFECT. The team even followed up with us for the next few days to make sure everything was fine

We had a water heater installed by this company which we overpaid for, and the water in the shower was getting cold quickly. I was told that there was a leak in the pipes because there was air coming pushing through the pipes. We were also told that there was most likely a hole in the sewer pipes. We were offered three choices for repair and the prices were from 8,000 to 20,000. And then after they pull out the walls in our bathroom and fix this problem they can look into the were leak. They were hard selling too, offering us a credit plan and telling us that the price included an "end of the month" deal. Well, to say the least I wanted to get a second opinion because I'm disabled and my mom is barely making it on social security. We called and got a second opinion and when the second plumber came out he said that the water heater was turned down to "warm" and there was nothing wrong with the sewer, we just needed a good snaking. I was happy to save $20,000 but I was very hurt and bothered that these two men tried to rip us off.

They sold the system very aggressively. they recommended financing and I was told I was approved. They installed the system prior to getting confirmation of financing, then the company they recommended declined me. I was stuck putting the system on a high rate credit card. Old fashioned bait and switch. Technichian was 4 hours late, then pushed install to next day. Permits we're not explained either. Don't do business with them. They are greedy and don't provide the level service advertised. Will not use again.

Very expensive and didn’t fix the issue

This is the second time answering this survey. The young plumber had no clue on how to fix the problem. My husband had to figure out it had a clog and repaired it himself. The worst part was the office manager defended the plumber and did not apologize for our inconvenience.

They are very throughal and did an excellent job.
