My contract with this moving company started when another company called APT Moving handed over my move to them, which I was not aware was going to happen. I was never told over the phone that this was a brokerage company handling may move, because if I had known that I would have never hired them. Executive Moving and Storage picked up my items March 12th from my house and I was told multiple times that my stuff would arrive no later than end of March 30th, which the promise that they were actually scheduled for arrival on March 25th which was my move in day at the new location. My husband and called multiple times within the week they said our stuff would be in transit and every time we called, we got a different receptionist telling us completely different stories. The first call was that our stuff didn't leave yet and would leave within a few days, then the next call was that someone would get back with us the next day and never did then the next call was that they never said that our stuff would leave that week, but was under contract that it could only be delivered when we were officially moved in, which we never agreed to that. And again would never would have agreed to that since we needed our stuff to be arriving that very day of our move in which was March 25th. We called pretty much every day for over a week to try to pin down when our stuff would actually be in transit and finally our stuff didn't leave Las Vegas, Nevada until March 30th saturday after midnight, which was a complete contradiction of what was in our contracted and discussed with the people who set up our move from the beginning. Finally we were also promised that we would get updates via texts to tell us where our stuff was and none of that was done. My husband and I continued to call to see when the deliver would be arriving in New York and we could never get a straight answer, which made it very difficult for us to schedule a reservation for the moving elevator in the building. Finally the driver calls us Thursday April 4th and tells us that he will arrive Friday the 5th, but says that he can not deliver it Saturday the 6th, because he doesn't work Saturdays. He says that he can deliver our stuff on Sunday then on Sunday our building says they have no elevator free so the deliver guy says that he can deliver on Tuesday. We initially agree, but then he says that we will be charged an extra $350 for "storage", which isn't our fault since we were free Saturday the entire day and he refused to deliver it to us. We finally talk to him again and tell him to talk to his "superior" at t.e moving company who sent us an email as well telling us that we would be charged $350 to tell them that we weren't going to pay, because he was causing the delay not us! Finally they dismiss the charge and our stuff gets delivered Monday April 8th which is 2 weeks later than what was promised on our contract that we had signed. That say our stuff was suppose to arrive at 10AM and the deliver arrive 1 hour late. He comes up to our apartment and tells us to pay him first. He adds an additional $200 to our initial bill and we don't really know why, at this point we just pay it, because we are running late for the next people that need the moving elevator. And my husband and come downstairs to the loading area, we see another guy there in a beat up U-haul truck. So basically this "Executive Moving And Storage" moving company is not professional at all. Yet again we realized that our move got pawned off on another mover, which was a guy and his friend doing our move. The more we dealt with this delivery driver/mover we realized that we were being scammed to a certain extent. The delivery driver was extremely unprofessional, loud and rude and he looked like he was on some kind of drug, because he was just abnormally hyper. While our stuff was being moved into our apartment we noticed a few boxes got smashed pretty bad and also that my husbands office desk was completely damaged beyond repair. The legs were bent in half and they were heavy duty steal legs for that matter. After all that was said and done the mover had the nerve to ask if we wanted to tip him and my husband and I just didn't even respond to him. When we go downstairs to make sure the truck was empty and all was done the delivery guy finds a ticket and his windshield and says we have to pay it and so we give him another $115 for his parking ticket. Dealing with this "moving company" has literally been a huge nightmare. It is by far the very worst moving experience of my entire life. I am still in the process of dealing with them to determine whether they will replace our broken office desk, not including all of my broken dished, lamps, damaged vases and a bunch of other items. I can not recommend this company to anyone and I hope that they close their business, because this is borderline fraud on so many levels.
