On a very hot day, technician Ed arrived on time and determined the the control boards for the first floor unit was "bad" and needed to be replaced but noted that the coil and heater (in attic) were old and should be replaced. First gave a price of $7000.00, then came down to $4500. We first agreed and then thought it better to simply replace the "board". Ed became agitated claiming that he thought we had agreed to replace the coil, heater etc. for $4500. When told we only wanted the controller board he said it was so old (1996) we probably could not get one and if so it would cost us $900. to $1000. When told we would do that and get a second opinion on the need and cost for the heater, coil etc. He offered to try to get the whole "job" for $3500. We decided to go only with the board so he picked up his papers from the table, proclaimed he could not do business with someone who doesn't trust him, told us he was leaving and stormed out the front door leaving the attic access open in our bedroom, the ladder in place and lights in the attic on. I'm a 68 year old in not such great health but I did manage to to climb up in the attic, turn out the lights and put the hatch door back in place. I not hot enough to do business with this company!!

Techician Phil was very professional, prompt and friendly. He was obviously very knowledgeable and did an excellent job tuning up our system and patiently explaining the scope of work and issues to be on the watch for.
I'd definitely recommend Emergency Air.
