DUMBELL MAN FITNESS EQUIPMENT

I got ripped off by a guy on Craigslist who sold me an elliptical trainer that had electronics problems that he didn't disclose to me.  He did, however, tell me he bought the elliptical from the Dumbell Man, so I called their office.  After describing the problems and being told their service call rate is $150/hour, Tracy at Dumbell Man offered to check out my display panel at their shop on a similar trainer.  This would save me some money over having them come to my house.  When I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted.  Tracy checked out the display and found it to be bad, as suspected.  He told me he wouldn't charge me for the diagnostic work and he would contact the manufacturer to get prices for the parts.  Later that day he called me back and gave me the price.  He also said I could call the manufacturer direct to get the part rather than going through Dumbell Man.  Since the part was a simple plug-in replacement, I did that.  BH Exercise Equipment had the part at my house the next day.  Tracy at Dumbell Man did a lot of checking and legwork for me and never suggested I should pay them for anything.
