Michael T did a great job with the inspection. Did a FaceTime review when done to explain his findings since we could not be there. Called him the next day for further explanations and he was more than willing to explain and talk to us. Great service.

Tim Ganey arrived on time and did a thorough structural inspection of my home. He pointed out to me some issues which needed to be addressed and also explained to me the overall condition of my house. I find Tim to be competent, honest, reliable, and his rate to be extremely reasonable. I would definite hire him again and highly recommend their services.

Tim Ganey was fantastic to work with. He did not mind that I followed him throughout the inspection and asked questions and took my own pictures. He was very gentle and patient with answering my sometimes ignorant questions. I appreciated his thoroughness with the inspection and I felt that when it was completed, I had a comprehensive understanding of the house I was going to purchase. The final report was received digitally in less than 24 hours. All of the explanations regarding positive and negative conditions reported, were easy to understand with especially all of the pictures included in the report. I would recommend him and his agency with all of the utmost respect!

It went on really well. First, they really try to work around my schedule, since I need an inspection during the 10 days dual diligence period before the purchase. And both my husband and I have full time work schedule. Second, Michael showed up on time. Actually we are 5 minutes late, and Michael is already on the roof. He is polite, resourceful and professional. In the end, he gave us a summary what is going to be in the report, which he is going to send us tomorrow. I am so satisfied about the service. That’s why I am leaving a review now. Third, the price is right. Our foreclosure home is a little bit less than 1300 sq ft and the price is $275. Highly recommended and definitely the only inspection company I am going to use in the future. Thanks again for Michael and desert home inspection!

This is the 2nd time I used Tim for my home inspection and I highly recommend him! He is extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. He even uses infrared technology to determine if the house has any leaks. Buying a home is the most expensive purchase you'll make, so make sure Tim has reviewed the house, so you know what you're buying. I've bought many homes and he is definitely the best in the business!

Desert Home Inspections was fantastic. Scheduling was a breeze- they had an appointment the next day and Tim came out to do the inspection. He spent two and a half hours on the property and was very very thorough. We got a detailed electronic report afterwards explaining everything. He mentioned that we could call him anytime with any questions. Just a great experience with Desert Home Inspections. I would highly recommend.

Tim was very thorough and was patient in explaining what he was doing. He was very respectful of our home while testing every component of our home. He has a lot of experience in the business and it shows. The inspection report was delivered by email the morning after the inspection and covered every room in detail. We are very pleased with Tim and the result of his inspection. We will be sending his report to our builder for resolution.

Excellent. As we have said before, if there is no better Home Inspection Service in Nevada (and maybe in USA). Tim Ganey is the consummate professional. He is thorough. He's timely. He is extremely knowledgeable. And, he is very objective. He called things as they are, not as one might wish they were. We used Tim and Desert Home Inspections to perform inspections of two different properties we were considering. Thanks to Tim's excellent analysis, we passed on the first house because of plumbing leaks that could not be located. With Tim's astute analysis and evaluation, we bought the second property he inspect, and re-inspected for us. It has turned out to probably be the best of the 8 homes we've owned. Can't say enough about how much we value and appreciate Tim Ganey and Desert Home Inspections. Top-notch all the way.

Excellent. Tim performed his usual and customarily excellent analysis of the property, which gave us considerable relief that our purchase was the right thing to do. The Sellers had been somewhat recalcitrant in making the requested repairs. Tim was able to confirm that the property had not deteriorated. Well worth the very reason reasonable fee he charged.

Thank goodness for Mike!! He was already at the house and had started working when we arrived. At first, he seemed a little gruff and standoffish but it became clear by the end of the inspection that he was simply doing a very thorough job and stopping to chit chat when we arrived was not on the agenda. As he went through the house, he showed us things of concern as they came up and assured us he would go over it more thoroughly at the end of the inspection. He answered questions we had as they came up as well. At the end, Mike went over the whole inspection with us, showing us pictures and taking us to the areas of the house so that we could better see the problems he had found - and there were a lot of problems. We honestly felt that Mike saved us from making a huge mistake in buying this house. Based on his consultation after the inspection, we took the report to a friend who has rehabbed a few houses on his own and found out that if even half of what Mike found was wrong, this house was going to be a money pit. Based on that, we significantly reduced our offer and ended up not buying the house. We feel like we dodged a bullet. Mike wasn't the only great part of DHI. I did not get the name of the woman who answered the phone and made the appointment but she was also super helpful. She answered about a dozen questions I had before I even made the appointment and also was able to reschedule our appointment to an even earlier date and time when it became necessary for due diligence purposes. All in all, DHI was the best part of our whole home buying experience.

Tim was very thorough and the extra fee (I think $30 or $40 for older homes) was absolutely worth it. He inspected the house for several hours and explained what he was doing all along the way. His recommendations regarding what follow-up needed to be done led me to inspect the sewer lines, discovering a problem. Had Tim not done such a thorough job I would have ended up buying a house with a ticking sewer problem right under the house. I cancelled the contract on that house and then hired Tim again to inspect another house. Again I was impressed with his thoroughness, clear explanations, and quick turnaround on the report. I would highly recommend him, especially if you are looking in a historical neighborhood.
