Nate promptly replied to my request for an estimate. The quote was reasonable and I know he's local to Woodbury so was happy to keep the business within the community.
After a little back and forth to find a convenient date and time for both of us, Nate arrived as scheduled, completed the work within a couple hours and left.
I will definitely use Nate's services again.

He was very professional. He stuck to the estimate and he was prompt. We are very pleased with the result.

On the recommendation from a friend, we called and left a message on Nate's answering machine. He responded quickly and scheduled an appointment for a day or two later to get an estimate. Nate arrived for the appointment at the time arranged and determined what we wanted. After walking around the house, he gave us an estimate before he left, an estimate that we thought was reasonable. After getting two other estimates, we learned that his was better than just reasonable. We scheduled Nate to do the work a few weeks later. A day or two before the arranged date Nate called to confirm date and time; he then arrived as scheduled.

Nate systematically and efficiently washed the first and second floor double hung windows inside and out in our 100+ year old house. In addition, each window has the standard combination storm window of an upper glass and lower screen in one track and the lower glass in a second track that slides up exposing the screen or down covering the screen. Adding to the job ( and a major reason why we don't try to do this ourselves) is the fact that several of the double-hungs and combinations are old and really difficult to move up and down, let alone take them out of the tracks and get them back in. Nate obviously had more than enough experience with so many different types of windows that none of mine presented a challenge.

The day just happened to be one of our hottest with high humidity, but that didn't seem to bother Nate. He started on the second floor, removing all 3 parts from each combination and stacking them. The double hung windows were cleaned from the inside, and then, from the outside with Nate on his ladder. He was so careful about stationing the ladder that our garden showed no indication he was ever there. Back inside, Nate cleaned the windows and screens of the combinations and put them back in place. Several times I noticed that when Nate would see a streak that was left behind, he would rewash that window. After the second floor was completed, Nate went through the first floor with the same systematic efficiency. Then, finally the screen porch with our oldest collection of 16 battered combinations. Again, he went through the lot without a problem. When finished, Nate did a walk-around with us to make sure we were satisfied with his work.

Nate supplied everything he needed to do the job. As he worked, he was respectful of our house and possessions, inside and out. He wasn't even fazed by our Border Collie Mix who insisted on supervising Nate throughout the project. Window treatments and ancient mini-blinds were gently positioned to provide him access. When he was finished, they were repositioned as they were before. Every window was back in place; most now work more smoothly than before, especially those nasty combinations on the porch. He didn't leave puddles of water anywhere, not even drops. In fact, the only indication Nate was ever here is CLEAN WINDOWS. I will be calling him back next year.
