These guys did a fantastic job or refurbishing two antique Bombay night stands. They resurfaced and polished the surfaces, re-glued the joints and re-assembles the doors, hinges and locks. The night stands no longer wobble and doors close and lock. The alligators were covered in glue from previous poor repairs. The Chair Dr. removed the old glue and re-assembled the sections to provide an almost new looking alligator set with invisible repair lines.
The business is difficult to locate but well worth the effort to find and get your repairs completed.
This gentleman came in and suggested he build a base for those three pieces and attach the existing legs to the base so the pressure would not be on the skimpy legs but spread out on the base. My concern was the same cherry wood look as the legs or some awful brown. I can not begin to tell you how beautiful it turned out. It was perfect. He gave me solutions to things that were wrong that made sense. He talked to me like the owner of the house not a woman. Sheena who worked int he office was professional, nice and tried to really understand what I wanted.
