Used Marty twice. He arrived on time and quickly started work. The floors were shiny, deep cleaned and dry when he finished. The grout seal has lasted much longer than expected. I will hire him again by this summer.

Did a good job of cleaning exactly what was asked of them.

Milton is a complete professional and was able to schedule me soon after my initial phone call and provided me with a very fair quote to clean the carpet and tile of my new house. He was quick and efficient and left my floors clean and smelling great. I was happy to have Milton clean the floors of the house I moved out of and he again did a great job! Highly recommended.

Milton showed up as our carpet guys were still installing our carpet. He told us no big deal and gave us his number and told us to call him when we were ready. We called him later that afternoon and he shot right over to do the floors. I was really hesitant to do the floors at first as I had heard that it was expensive. After Milton was done I couldn't believe how different the grout looked. I realized then just how disgusting the floors had been. This was hands down the best money we spent on getting our new home ready. It was a tremendous value and Milton and his guy were done in about 2.5 hours. I should also mention that Milton's verbal estimate on the phone changed after he actually measured the house. My wife had told him that we had more title than we did. He adjusted the price downward to reflect the real sq ft of tile. I would have never known if he would have charged me the first price. His honesty was very much appreciated. We've already recommended him to several others.

They arrived a little before the appointment time. After they measured the amount of the floor to be cleaned, they gave me the price for the job. I agreed and they performed an excellent job. I stayed and watched their work, they didn't seem to mind, and they answered all my questions very politely and professionally. They were very careful to not damage anything and they did not leave a mess behind.

I will definitely hire them again.

I spoke to a technician before they came out to clean my carpets, and he said they would vacuum the carpets as part of their process. We had all the furniture moved before he came.

I specifically asked if they used steam to clean, and he said yes. He thought drying time would be about 4-6 hours if we opened the windows.

I did not notice him vacuuming at all -- or steaming the baseboards as other people have mentioned. He actually used a hot water extraction method on the carpet, which was extremely wet. In one room, I was unable to open the windows due to allergies, and the carpet took more than 12 hours to dry in there. In another room, where a window was open, it still took about 8 hours.

The final result was not great, but he said it was because the carpet was only surface dyed, and the dye had simply worn off.

Pros:
Extremely fast.
Pleasant demeanor.

Cons:
Misinformation.
Very wet process.
Took ages to dry.

I was not impressed, considering all the glowing reviews I've seen on Angie's List.

UPDATE: Since the carpet was cleaned, I have been able to get up tons of black dirt that CarpetWerks left behind. So the theory about my carpet simply being damaged was definitely flawed. I can see that simple and quot;steam cleaningand quot; is not adequate. From now on, I will look for companies that do and quot;acid rinseand quot; and deep scrubbing combined.

Milton came to a rental house I own after a tenant had moved out and he made my 8 year old carpets look nearly new again. There were a couple of red stains (on brown carpet) that I thought for sure would not come out but he made it happen. He also cleaned all of the dirty grout lines and ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathroom areas and made them look new again. I had planned on replacing the carpet until someone highly recommended that I had Milton come in and work his magic first. I'm certainly glad I did because it saved me a huge amount of money. I highly recommend Milton and Carpetwerks for top quality carpet and tile care.

Milton lined up an appointment on short notice and got the job performed in a quick fashion. I don't even recognize the floor any more, I thought that the grout was supposed to be black, but after they performed the power scrub on the grout I found out it was supposed to be grey. Excellent service, I will definitely use their services again.

We had one large, about 360 sq.ft. room and closet, that was to have its old beat up looking carpet replaced. The carpet company that had replaced carpeting in three other rooms, very kindly recommended Carpwtwerks as a cleaner who might be able to restore the carpet since we were on a tight budget. It turned out looking spectacular!

Overall it was a good result. We are happy Milton's work.

Milton was very responsive to my phone calls, even when I needed to change the day to do his work.
The tile was extremely dirty in the main part of the house, making the whole house look dingy. Milton made it sparkle! He took the extra time and trouble to get the grout clean in the high traffic area.
I am going to have him return soon to seal the grout on the new tile.

I was given Carpetwerks' name by a flooring contractor and decided to give them a call and get an estimate. Milton was quick to answer my phone message. We scheduled a date for him to come over to the house to provide an on-site estimate. He explained the process of cleaning the flooring and told me the job would take two days to complete.

Since I had other contractors scheduled to come into the house to paint, Milton was open to working on the weekend to complete the process of cleaning the floors.

When the job was complete, the floors were sparkling clean and the shine was amazing! Milton worked extremely hard the first day and didn't leave the house until 9:30 PM at night!

I would definitely hire CarpetWerks again in the future.
