When I came back to have it checked they said I needed to replace oil pan gasket with an estimate of $340 which included oil change. I said I would have to check around and he said it could wait till my next oil change. Also while I was waiting a man came into ask about a service and the price quoted was higher than the Mercedes dealer which made me even more leery of this place.
I had researched online about oil leaks and read that it was rarely an oil pan gasket leak. When I finally needed an oil change I took it to Sear's, told them to check for the leak. They said it was only the oil plug gasket not oil pan which should be changed during the service anyway. So it was replaced with no extra charge. Alot less than the $340!
I've been going to this Meineke for years, even the owners other shop on Serene and had always felt I was taken care of fairly till recently. But I won't ever go back again!
