This is the worst experience we have ever had with a home improvement. We hired Bella to contract workers to install ceramic tile to our floors and to paint the interior walls, doors, and to install new baseboards.
The first person she hired who's name is Doug Robinson was presented to us as an expert flooring installer and a plumber. This man who brought his wife and 3 year old daughter to our home everyday while he worked managed to get nowhere with the job in eight days except to prep the floor. He did manage to drop our glass curio which shattered and to dent our new stainless steel refrigerator while moving these items. Promises were made to fix these items by both Doug and Bella. After confronting Doug on his lack of work and how the broken items were to be fixed he walked out, taking approximately $5,000 of our hard earned money.
Then it got much, much worse. Bella hired people to finish the job. There were painters who were also tasked with installing tile, and doing plumbing such as sink and toilet removal and installing new ones. She claimed that they had to be paid daily and that she required cash payments from us.
Three weeks later , at least six different workers, and almost daily demands for more money, she claimed that the job was finished. NOT QUITE!! The tile work is horrible. There are broken tiles in several rooms, the tile is uneven and not straight, the baseboards are missing in several areas ,and there were several areas where the painting was sloppy and needing touch-up. The tile people ruined my paver driveway with cement. We had laid a tarp down to protect it but they removed it for some reason and now I am left with a $6,000 repair to replace the pavers.
Here is the kicker-when we approached her, she told us that she is not going to" put up with our BS" and not to bother her again.
Responsiveness-F!! Quality-FF!! Professionalism- FFF!!!
