The one thing I would throw out there to anyone looking to hire them is that when they say you have to use Equity Title as the escrow company, I would make that a deal breaker and refuse. They (Equity Title) charged me during the disposition for city utilities but when those funds weren't received or applied to my account they told me it was my problem to resolve. I have now paid the utility companies and them and they take no responsibility at all. It's not the money, because it's only 150 dollars, it's the attitude that it's my problem to fix their mistake. If they refuse to go with a different escrow company, then go with a different agent.

We own our current home but it's already over 20 yrs. old. We wanted to have it remodeled but the first building
contractor that we contacted told us that it will cost us tens of thousand dollars and for seniors like us, that's a lot of
of money. So we decided to go to Angie's List and searched for somebody who could help us.
We tried to analyze that if we have to spend a lot of money for an old house, we might as well just buy a 5 yr old or a new
house. In the Angie's List, SHARI ANDERSON'S name is the one that attracted us the most due to her more very positive
reviews. So we decided to call her and to our pleasant surprise, the first time we contacted her, she immediately set up an appointment to see us in our house the following morning. Shari came on time with David. We told her our problem and
gave us some suggestions on what to do. Whatever way we decide, she said she'll help us.
Two days or so after our first meeting, Shari endorsed us to one of the Agents, MATTHEW. We made an appointment
with Matthew and he diligently and patiently took us around to see the different homes. Even when it was hot or raining
Matthew was very patient. Sometimes, it made us feel guilty to see how hard he work for us.
Although we were with Matthew, Shari was always communicating back & forth with us by email.
The last day we were with Matthew was last Tuesday. The following day, Wednesday, we received an email from
another building contractor, a bid which was much, much lower than the first contractor. Because of this, we decided
to stay in our current home.
We communicated with Shari and Matthew, immediately, about our latest decision.
With the great services that we experienced from Shari and her group, now we could say that "THEY REALLY DESERVE
THE AWARDS WHICH WERE GIVEN TO THEM'. In the future, anytime we, family or friends need a realtor, WE WILL
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR GROUP!!!
LV. We made an appointment with her with little idea about what we would get from the house or the kind of trouble we had to go through this time. She totally surprised us when she came to visit the property. She immediately identified the strengths and weaknesses of the property and told us what to do to deal with them. She told us at our first meeting what the listing price of the house should be and why, higher than we expected. Most impressively, she quickly identified all the small things that we could easily take care. It was a long list of (low-cost) details in and around the property that made a dramatic difference to the property in less than two weeks, with low-cost. 70% of those would not be realized by us or most owners if she did not indicate them. Who would imagine a cheap set of yard table and chair, as well as a hose in the backyard, would make the house appear so much more inviting and livable? She recommended an amazingly efficient but cheap handyman (who always works with her and is entirely reliable) as well. Michelle handled the marketing part so well next, and we left LV in great relief and certainty that everything would be fine in their hands. They still surprised us one more time: only three weeks after the house was listed, they told us they found a buyer that would pay a price close to the listing price. We are in the closing process currently. If only we deal with real estate in LV in the future, it will only be through them!
Everything was handled efficiently by Michelle via phone, text and email to advise us and keep us informed. It was a no drama deal and I would highly recommend Shari and her team and would use her again if needed. We have sold several homes before and this was the smoothest yet. Shari also did it for a 4.5% commission witjh no additional fees, 1.5% lower than our original broker who could not sell the house at the same asking price.

Also, I always felt like I was getting the VIP treatment when dealing with Award, even though my particular property (a 2-bedroom Condo) represented a very modest fee when compared to some of Awards' other properties.
If you need a property sold quickly, Award is the firm for you. I had an absolute deadline of April 30th, and despite the fact that I had two offers fall through due to lack of financing, we were able to close escrow on April 3rd, well ahead of my drop-dead schedule.

I am having problems with neighbor's irrigation system flowing through the wall that divides our yards. I have spoken to him previously and he did have someone come "repair" it, but it is still leaking through, so again I talked with him. He said he had called and the company said "maybe" they would come fix it. Nothing has happened now he has it set up for sale, I called the retaliator to advise and maybe see if they could get it fixed, but again nothing. looking for further help I looked on Angies list to see where to go I contacted Shari to see what advice she might have. within 20 min she had responded with a name and number for me to try. She also volunteered to help me in looking for the email and address of the sellers relator . I was able to find them. Shari was very fast and helpful Based on her performance I would feel very safe in recommending her to anyone for real estate needs! Thank you for taking time to help !!
OVER THE PAST TWO YEARS, I LISTED IT WITH SHARI AND SHE SOLD IT IN LESS THAN THREE WEEKS, DURING THE TIME I HAD MY HOME ON THE MARKET SHARI AND I STARTED LOOKING FOR A NEW CONDO, AS I AM DOWNSIZING.
