They were efficient and quick. Entire job took 1/2 day to complete and was pleased with the product.

Called a few companies for a quote on replacement of a block wall. Art Con was very professional, prompt provided a written estimate, (none of the others did). The crew that did the work was outstanding, professional did a great job and a great clean up Would call again and recommend

The back pavers were supposed to have a drain installed underneath which they installed but it didn't drain anywhere...what?? Had them come out and fix it and they installed a drain going from one end to the other, problem is that it didn't intersect the first drain that they installed so it still doesn't drain anywhere, as a result, when it rains it floods our back porch and up to our bedroom door Both times they worked on the pavers we happend to be out of town so it appears that if they are not supervised they cut corners and do shoddy work. I would never hire these guys again. I have placed a call to have them fix the drainage issue again and have yet to hear back. Too bad because the rock veneer looks great, problem is I don't trust them.

WHOA!!! Why didn't I read any reviews before I wasted my time with ARTCON and Richard Burns??!! Silly me, because now I have wasted valuable time having them come out to give a lot of lip service and NO FOLLOWUP for a solid week. Having invested my time, I thought it was worth calling again. The female I spoke with assured me that they would get back to me. By Friday, a week went by so I called AGAIN...let's just copy and paste my exact sentiments as previously posted by another reviewer: and quot;When I called their office I was forced to deal with a horrible young woman who copped an attitude and was about as unhelpful as can be.and quot;

I had the contractors come over on Thursday and the job was done by Saturday. The floor was sort of sticky after 24 hours, but after 48 hours I could walk on it. After a week, I parked the car in the garage with no damage to the floor. The contractors were friendly and did an excellent clean up after the job was done.

I have used them twice in the past. I used them in June, 2011 and recently, couple of weeks ago. It was like a texture painted concrete they did. We purchased a house which was 10 years old and so they re-did the concrete to make it look nice and new. They also did something like a concrete garage. They put coding on it which looks like paint and paint chips and stuff. They also resurfaced the deck outside the pool. Overall their service was very good. They were expensive, but I think they did a good job. I recommend them to friends and family members. They did everything I asked them to do. The only issue I had with them was that they didn't come when I had asked them to come.

We did not chose this company to do the work, based on price and lack of responsiveness.

I am waiting from a response from the Contractor's board and the Better Business Bureau. As of today I haven't heard back yet but the complaints were filed last week, I'm assuming it is to soon. UPDATE: This is an update on ARTCON, they responded to my complaint with the BBB stating that their supplier and manufacturer did a temperature test and concluded that the spraydeck was cooling the concrete a difference in average of 15 degrees from the bare concrete in the driveway. The problem with that response is I don't know what driveway they are referring to, they never came to my residence and did any testing, never happened, in fact this is the first I heard of that happening. I responded to the BBB asking them to have Artcon produce a report or any evidence that anyone ever came to my home and did any testing. If they do it will be a report that they created as the were never here. I am waiting for the Contractors board to come out. in classic Artcon fashion they state in their response to the BBB that all the complaints they have on google/Yelp are from people who refused to pay, really ? I spoke to a person on that list and that is absolutely not the case, I suggest you read their reviews closely before dealing with this company. Google Artcon reviews.

There bid was $8000, which was twice as much as the company we went with. They were very good and professional, and gave me the bid in writing. We didn't use them only because of the price, and not anything else.

They were fabulous, they did a beautiful job, and they cleaned up after themselves. The deck looks spectacular to the point that we are also going to have them do a concrete wall for me. I am waiting for them to come back and do the wall. I would tell other members that I would recommend them anytime, any day and anywhere. I am going to use them again in the next two weeks.

The cement work was excellent. The paper work was almost excellent. The only problem I had was before the job was done, they wanted more money. That rubbed me the wrong way because we had already put 1/2 down. The workmanship was great, but the office people left a bad taste in my mouth. It was not too bad. I would recommend them. The price was fair and in the ball park.

I thought they were fine and could see myself using them in the future.

They were wonderful. In fact at the complex where my mother is, not where I live, they are also using Artcon; that's how good they are. I think they are reliable, came on time, and everything about them was top quality. It was Angie's list that I found them and they were terrific. Crew was absolutely fantastic, they were neat. Everything about them was top notch. They watched from my plan, they would talk to you, they work with you, explain to you, you couldn't get another company. The crew that we had, I can't tell how fantastic they were. I would absolutely use them in the future. I'm telling you they dealt with us in such a professional way, they were just so reliable. You can't find fault with them, everything that they did was perfect.

We were very happy with the experience from start to to finish. Dave (VP) did the estimation, and was very professional, and personable. He answered all of our questions, and applied a discount we had from a mailer without issue. Their crew worked with the pool tile crew to coordinate access to the back yard, so no time was lost with an empty pool. We saved money by having a drained pool while they sprayed the new cool deck, and color matched it. They laid down multiple coats to make sure the colors matched from section to section. They went above and beyond with coating an existing walkway, adding a barrier to prevent that white mineral deposits from breaking through and peeling the new coating. They also went above and beyond the quote on the new pad for the shed, extending it a few inches past the gate to give the existing gate post a better footing. They added drainage cutouts for the A/C drain. They waited 10 days before coating the new pad with the cool deck color, so it would setup correctly. The garage expoy was done very professionally. We are very pleased with the results all the way around.

Artcon was sub-contracted by Mauri Landscaping to build extensions and pathways, and to resurface the pool deck. Our first contact with with a young salesman named John, who met with us, described what would be entailed in the project, and he took measurements of the affected areas. Because we were, at that point, also contemplating adding height to existing block perimeter walls, he examined and measured those as well. At his request, we provided him with property code, HOA CCand R, and permit information for this property for his engineers to review. When we did not hear back as expected, we called and spoke with the VP and co-owner of the company, Dave Williams, who reminded us that John had gone on vacation. Since John was away, we re-sent information to Dave, then he came out and re-measured the property, and provided us with more information about the project. Two days later Dave called with bad news about our perimeter walls -- the engineer had determined they cannot be raised above the present level (5') without completely demolishing and rebuilding the walls. At least we had a definitive answer about that. After the Mauri project got through its initial demo phase, the Artcon crew arrived and in one day built all the forms for the concrete. The concrete was poured the next morning. The following day the forms were removed, drains were installed, and then work began on the pool deck resurface. At one point during the power washing, one worker had some trouble with his equipment and it blew a breaker; once we re-set the breaker power was back on, but unfortunately his equipment was out of commission. Despite this hitch, the deck preparation was finished by the end of the day. The following day the new surface was applied, and after 24 hours it was good to go. The only minor problem we had with the design was where we should have had concrete poured to replace a section of existing concrete curbing near one oasis; it happened one other place, but we happened to catch and fix that one. Mauri Landscapes' crew cooperated beautifully with Artcon's crew in preparing the area where concrete would be poured, and in not creating a flying debris problem after the epoxy deck surface was applied. The new deck surface looks fantastic and is cool on bare feet. It has given us a lot more lounge area near the pool, where we can also dine comfortably out in the open where it is cooler at night, instead of beneath the patio overhang which retains heat during the hot summer months. The unexpected gem of this job was the pathway leading from the patio to front gate and the mechanical equipment. What was previously a dirt area beside an overgrown planter, and where the equipment sat on a small pad but the path to it was dirt, rocky and very uneven to walk on, we now have a solid 3' wide concrete path for much safer and easier access to the gate and the equipment, which will make maintenance and operation much easier and more pleasant. I commend Artcon on their responsiveness of communication, despite the initial minor delay, which was really our fault for not providing the information before John went on vacation. We even needed to call with a question over the Labor Day weekend and they got back to us right away! (We thought they accidentally covered pool valves; it turned out the Mauri crew chief rerouted it but did not point it out to us.) The minor design glitch concerning the concrete curbing is not their fault; we and/or Mauri should have been clearer about that in the first place, although having fixed one, it would have been nice if they'd realized it was going to be the same problem with the other oasis. So they get an A, not and A+. Overall, Artcon did a great job for us. We are very satisfied with how the job turned out. The plan proceeded on schedule and on budget, and Artcon provided high quality workmanship. We would not hesitate to recommend Artcon to other Las Vegas homeowners.

In August, 2009 ArtCon removed my existing concrete patio and replaced it with a paver patio, nearly doubling its size. I paid $4500 for the original job and was extremely happy with the end result. Over the past year or so the pavers had settled in a section of the patio to the point that I was becoming concerned and wanted to have it repaired. I called ArtCon for an estimate because I had been so satisfied with their original work 2 years ago. David was out here to take a look at it within a few days of my call and had a crew here the following week to do the repair, at no charge to me. I was so impressed that a company still exists that will stand up and back their work, no questions, no delay, 2 years after the original work was completed that I just had to submit another report!

It was a colored concrete job. They are a concrete company. I liked the person who came out to give the bid. He was very good and upfront. I got three bids which were all pretty competitive. They were pretty much on time and did what they said they were going to do. A bobcat crashed into a little bit of retaining wall that I had. Several people came out and fixed that. It looks pretty good now. There's been no problem. I liked everything about them and I don't have any complaints at all. My experience with them was very good.

They came in and grounded everything out and redid it. It seems to be fine so far. They were less expensive, but they did a good job. I can understand when one is grinding concrete it's very messy and they did a good job of covering all my windows and doors. They covered the pool to make sure that a minimum amount of dust and everything infected us. They did a nice job with that. They did what I wanted them to do. They did it fine and on time. They knew exactly what they were doing. I would use them again in the future if need be.

I chose this company based on their ratings. They are prompt and courteous. They follow up and do good work.

They were very professional. They did a nice job of the sidewalk over way. The only thing I could say about them is during the job I had to go out of town and they said that they would do the job in three days but they took seven days. I wouldn't really criticize them as they maybe knew that I wasn't going to be around and figured that they wasn't that big a hurry. I don't want to give the best report on the time that they took. I felt that they did a nice job. I called them for another small job that I would like them to do or I would like them to give me a price on. They are supposed to call me back and make an appointment. I was happy with their work. I would not mark them down for the late time because sometimes I think there was a lot of work to be done. They were circumstances, not the weather, but the equipment that they brought out when they had to power wash the deck the water didn't dry and run out quick enough so that they could do the next steps and so they had to wait another day. I think they did a real nice job.

I love them. They are fantastic. We used them a few months ago and then just had them back out. They are absolutely fantastic. They made a beautiful design and it is absolutely exquisite. It will be easy to walk on. They arrived on time and they took of all my plants around the whole walkway so everything was neat and clean. They cleaned up after themselves. They dyed the concrete to match the existing concrete. They are an absolutely, absolutely top-notch company. It was perfect and there were no hitches. It was just wonderful. The price was good. My husband was in construction back in New York and he thought it was an excellent price. We would absolutely use them again and we would absolutely recommend them highly.

They brought all the right staff and equipment to complete a majority of the job within 2 days. Once the concrete was properly cured, they returned to seal it. It's been 4 years since the installation and it still looks as great as it did that first Spring!

Workmen came on time and did a great job. They were considerate of our property and careful not to harm our landscaping. They did an awesome job in clean up too. We would recommend them highly!

Great job overall. I met with them prior to starting the job to go over the details of the job and the schedule. Other than a couple of times where the super did not communicate effectively all went smoothly. When I did have an issue with communication Dave Williams, the owner, jumoped right in and took control and more importantly responsibility for his supers communication. From that point on the job went well and the finished products are great.

They were very prompt in providing us with the estimate. They answered all of our questions. We just aren't ready to do the work right now. We were very happy with the results of their response. As soon as I called, I had a response within a couple of days. They were very clear with providing with what our needs would be and what they were providing. We were very happy with them. When we are ready to have that work done, we will be contacting this company.
