Around the Clock were prompt and did the job quickly. I have a home warranty so I can't just call a plumber myself, I have to call the warranty company and even with all that, they were here within I'd say an hour when I called the warranty company. I've had 2 or 3 issues and they sent the same plumbing company each time and at both times they were really prompt and did good work.

Technician was an idiot and performed a VERY superfluous inspection for the leak, then said he couldn't find anything and left.  When I complained to the home warranty company they sent out another plumber who found two leaks in under 15 min.

Warranty call - thermostat not working.  Technician Daniel came out, told my wife the thermostat was fine - that the problem was that the HVAC unit needed to be cleaned (which, conveniently, wasn't covered by warranty).  He told her this, despite not even going on the roof to inspect the unit!  This sounded wrong, so we called for a second opinion.  Second company came out, and, unprompted, evaluated a bad thermostat (an old mercury-based one that wasn't firing accurately), and replaced it.  Problem was solved.  But, in order to be reimbursed by the warranty company for the second company's expense, Around the Clock needed to submit the official results of their visit.  When they did (two weeks late), their report suggested a bad "ignitor" on the HVAC unit, which would be a warranty covered repair.  Obviously, they were trying to get us to pay on one hand and the warranty company to pay on the other.  Worst of all, none of it would have fixed the actual problem.  This happened 4 years ago (I just joined Angie's List), but it has always stuck in my mind of an example of some of the worst practices out there.  I'm stunned that they're still in business.  To anyone who has a home warranty, you can demand a different company be assigned to your issue - I strongly recommend you do if this company is the first one assigned.

I was pleasantly surprised at how professional, competent and friendly this whole experience was after reading all of the previous reviews, but I had no choice since I went through my home warranty company.  The technician arrived on time, clean, friendly and professional.  I didn't know what exactly the problem was, only that my kitchen sink was leaking.  The technician discovered that the problem was a crack in the garbage disposal.  He installed a brand new upgraded disposal and tightened my faucet handle that I thought would have to be replaced and completed all work within 45 minutes.  I was so pleased with his customer service that I called his supervisor right after he left to give him a verbal commendation. 

Technician showed up on the wrong day (we had a timed appointment the following day), told me the handle was installed, took my money, and left me no paperwork. Upon inspection the next day, I realized the handle was, in fact, not replaced, and when I called to find out what was going on, the company offered no explanation except to say that they couldn't replace that part - but it was a service call - so I had to be charged.

My rooftop central A/C unit started making a loud metal-to-metal noise late Sunday night. I turned the unit off and called my home warranty company. Their automated response system took my report and assigned Around the Clock Inc to do the work. Early Monday morning, a rep from the company called to say that a tech would be out between 9 am and 12 noon. The tech arrived promptly at 9 am and began work on the A/C unit. He was done in under an hour. Because I have a warranty plan, the cost was only a $60 service fee.

Leak in water heater occurred on a Sunday. Called Home Buyer Protection Corporation (Insurance Company). They issued a work order for All Around the Clock Inc and indicated I would be contacted within 24 hours. Because the leak was severe, I tried to contact them directly. Although they advertised 24-7 service, I received no answer. They did contact me the next day (Monday). They game out and all they did was get information off the heater. They said they needed to contact the insurance company and that they would be back the next day (Tuesday). Off course they didn't get back the next day, but the following day (Wednesday). They did a good job, but I had to pay not only the insurance fee of $60.00, but an additional $280.00 to being the water line system and connection upto current codes.

Contacted warranty company, who advised me that I would be contacted by the contractor within 24 hours. The contractor called as indicated. The contractor responded with 2 hours of the call. Made the repair in a professional manner.
