Jay and his company, Ariat, did superb work. They were prompt for the quoting and were here bright and early on the day of the actual repairs. It was very smooth, and incredibly fast. The work performed is extremely professional and I could not be more pleased. Due to an unrelated issue, I needed a roofer again shortly thereafter, and I did not hesitate to call Ariat again.

We were on vacation with family members still at the residence, when we learned of the terrible rains that Las Vegas and the surrounding area were experiencing. We called home and learned about the leak from the ceiling in the entrance way. We returned home the last week of August and found Ariat Roofing on Angies List. I called and Jay made an appointment to come by the house on Sat, the 1st of Sep to look at the job. Due to the volume of calls he had received, Jay stated that the repairs wouldn't be able to be done until the end of the next week of the week after. I received the call from Jay on Monday morning, Sep 3rd (Labor Day) and Jay stated that they were ready to do the repairs, if that was okay. I told Jay to go ahead and get started. The job was finished that morning, with no evidence that any work had been accomplished (no debris in the yard or surrounding area). We plan on using Ariat Roofing again in the future. What a professional!

He was very professional and I got him off of Angie's List. The work was good and the pricing was very satisfactory.

Ariat's owner inspected and measured the roof then reported its condition along with recommendations and options. I chose the work to be done and an appointment was made. At the time and date of the appointment a crew arrived in clean, lettered and well maintained trucks and equipment, I was introduced to the foreman. The crew was dressed neatly and began work immediately laying out tarps on the ground and providing a dump trailer for debris. They wasted no time and were well coordinated in removing the old material and installing the new. Most of the tiles were saved for reuse. The new flashings, O'Hagin roof vents and vent pipes were painted to match the color of the tile. By the day's end the roof was essentially done and there was no evidence in the yard or landscaping of debris or that such a large project had been done. Of course the roof looked good. On the following morning the owner of Ariat came with his foreman and crew for final inspection. They finished some remaining details and were done within about an hour. We have since had an overnight heavy sustained rain and the roof performed very well.

I called Jeff with Ariat on Tuesday, August 14, and he was able to respond that day. He inspected the roof and took photos of the problem areas and explained them in complete detail for me. He also stated he felt the leak that manifested itself in my living room ceiling was probably a once-in-years thing because of our recent monsoon rains and squalls with the direction of the winds causing the water to be forced under the tiles around the furnace flue, which had been improperly single flashed when the home was built almost 20 years ago. He didn't force the repairs on me; I just felt better knowing the leak wouldn't happen again once the flashing was installed properly. Although he said he could probably do the repairs the next day, we both agreed Thursday, 8/16, would be a better fit for our schedules. He and his crew showed up on time and completed the repairs and cleanup in a very efficient manner. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who asked my opinion.

The estimate was for less work than what was done. He ended up pulling more tiles than he originally estimated, but didn't pass the price on to us. He stuck with his bid and didn't complain about it.

The leak has been repaired. My contact with Jay was always professional and pleasant. He did not try to sell me more than I need and his final bill was exactly the quote he gave me on his first visit. I received a significant discount for having chosen Ariat from Angie's List. Jay explained what was needed to accomplish the repair and after the repair he explained exactly what had been done. He was very concerned that the job be done correctly and to my satisfaction. After the initial repair they returned to do some additional work to make sure the job was complete. They were always on time and Jay always answered or returned my calls promptly. Jay was flexible in scheduling repairs to fit my schedule and they even came on a Sunday. They never left anything behind and on their final visit they used their blower to blow the leaves off my patio which was very thoughtful. I would not hesitate to call Ariat again should I need any roof related repairs and I would definately recommed them.

I called Ariat Roofing for a suspected leaking roof.The Ariat owner, himself, came out the same day. He discovered that it was not actually the roof leaking, but a build up of pigeon droppings,leaves etc. that was causing rainwater to divert and leak into my son's room. Jay sent out a crew the same day . They basically put on a new roof, in the immediate area of the build up, and added preventative measures, such as chicken wire and spikes. I would DEFINATELY recommend Ariat roofing for any roofing problems/repairs.

The installation crew was very organized and neat. Tarps were placed around the whole house to capture debris. At times the crew numbered 8 usually there were at least 4. When the job was finished the whole area around the house was cleaned up. Everything was left clean and orderly. The crew worked close to 12 hours per day for 2 days.The whole operation was very professional. July 1, 2012 A few weeks after the work was completed I was in the attic and noticed that one of the soil stacks was broken. I contacted the owner Jay. No questions asked. He had his crew there 2 days later and the soil stack was fixed. To me follow-up is as important if not more so than the original job. Few job are perfect the first time around. Ariat responded quickly and professionally.

I called Friday June 1, 2012 & left a message with Jeff Miller. I received a return call the following Tuesday and he did apologize for the late return call. We set up an inspection for the following day @ 9:00am. Jeff was on time and very professional. We talked a little about the house and its age. Then the inspection began. Once all the measuring, figuring, head scratching and brow wiping was done, Jeff explained to me what he had found and what could be done. What I liked about this inspection is that he stated that he inspected as if it were his own home. That was one of the many things I liked about this experience. He told me what needed to be done and what was not necessary. I told him that I was taking bids and to have him submit one to my e-mail. I had that bid the next day, with the AngiesList discount. He did let me know that he had a few jobs ahead of this bid that he was to give me and that it might be two weeks out. It did take a couple of weeks, because I was waiting for the other bids to come in, which never appeared. So with that I accepted the bid from Ariat Roofing. Everything that was in the bid he did, plus extras. He did give me a call with an update while pulling the shingles as to what he had found and how it could be fixed. It's very hot here in Las Vegas and Jeff and his (6) men started early (5:15am) to beat the heat. They finished in one days time. I just want to make mention that coming from a womans perspective Jeff spoke with me and my daughter-in- law with total respect, kindness and professionalism. In the past working with contractors and in a so to speak mans world that was rarely done and from Jeff it was truly appricated. WOW what pleasure to work with. Would I recommend Ariat Roofing to friends, family and business associates. ABSOLUTELY!

House was built in 1958, don't know what work had been done since original. Small leaks started to appear during infrequent heavy downfalls and I would find shingles in the yard after high winds. Joined Angie's List, thought it would be worthwhile even if for only this one job. Checked roofers, called two for estimates. Ariat - Jay Gray owner - was here within 2 hours to walk the roof. I got his estimate a couple of days later. The other company showed up before their scheduled appointment time, I am kind of a stickler about that, and had to come back later, as I was not available the first time. Their estimate was given to me right then. It turned out to be the lower estimate, but contained an open-ended it might cost more that made me nervous. The Ariat estimate was here's the price. Very little wiggle room. We scheduled the work at my convenience. Jay said 1-2 days. The crew will start at 5AM. I let my neighbors know there would be some noise, cleared my driveway for their dumpster trailer that they pulled right up to the house. They did show up on the appointed day at 5AM and it sounded like very large ants on the roof. That crew went non-stop until the old materials were removed, got down to get some fluids and then started to haul the new materials up and began to install them. By 3PM that day they were finished with the roof, picking up random pieces of roofing materials, equipment loaded up and yard and driveway had been blown free of debris. This crew hustled. I now have a roof with 100% guarantee for the first 10 years and 80% guarantee for the next 40 years, from a locally owned family business. As a side note, when I was talking with Jay as the crew was finishing up, the easy-going relationship between Jay as owner and the crew was evident, I liked that.

They did a really nice job. I liked the siding the house as everything is smooth and nice. My husband was very pleased with them and he said that they did a really good job. We had inspection report on how the roof looked and they said that the roof just added value to our house.

overall the job went perfectly.

I called 3 different companies all wanted over 6,000. They told me what needed to be done and other thing that didnt need to be done included in the price. they also made me wait a whole week for an estemit. i called ariat, made an opointment, he gave me the price same day. they finished in under 8 hours and didnt leave a mess. i didnt have to get a dumpster they have there own.they painted to match the shingles. So far im happy with them

Ariat Roofing is the second roofing company I called to give me a bid on doing some repairs to my roof. Jay Gray, the owner, responded promptly and made a thorough inspection the following morning. I agreed to give him the job. He said he would get back to me that day with a detailed bid and an agreement on when the job would be scheduled. This he never did. This is the only negative experience I had overall. Other than that, he and his crew performed the work the following afternoon (4/12/12) after I called Jay that morning to confirm. They even agreed to cut off some large palm tree leaves that were spreading themselves over the side of my roof AND they also agreed to paint the piece of fascia board that needed replacing due to a roof leak. (The other roofing company made it clear to me that they only did roofing and therefore would not be doing any painting for me.) I was so impressed with this attention to detailed customer service. A large crew (at least 6 guys) worked diligently for almost three hours carrying out all repairs as per the contract. They even cleaned up the entire yard (cleaning the rooof of all debris left rather a mess all over my yard). Vicente, the team leader, introduced himself to me on arrival and made sure I was completely satisfied with all the work done before leaving my property. Jay can come across as a bit aloof, but he is completely on the ball and will make sure the job is done to perfection. I will definitely use Ariat Roofing for any of my future roofing needs.

Jay arrived for promised estimate when he said he would. Estimate was reasonable. Work crew arrived exactly on time and proceeded to do excellent work. Supervisor Vicente answered all of my questions as work progressed. Cleanup was exceptional. Highly recommended.

I called two people that were recommended on Angie’s List. The quote from the first one was pretty expensive, so I did not use them. I got a quote from Ariat Roofing and they were reasonable. They repaired the mastic. Everything was good. The price was good. They showed up on time and left. They did a good job. The group that was in before was more expensive and they came up with a lot of stuff that needed to be done. Ariat Roofing said that none of that was important and this was all I needed to be done. He did not over sell me. He just did the job and the price was reasonable.

Jay Gray promptly provided a quote to replace the roof on our rental house, which had wind damage. He met with my insurance adjustor to assure he understood the extend of wind damage to roof, resulting in my insurance company providing full coverage of the loss. The work was completed quickly, when I authorized the work - and they cleaned up well, providing a 10 year warranty on workmanship and 30 year warranty on shingles.

The actual job went well and was completed in a professional manner. My only concern was that I kept getting promised a date and the date kept slipping week to week.

The job was accomplished by six men roofing crew, one truck for hauling away old roof debris, and two support trucks. The crew started at 7:30am and completed the job around 3:30pm. The crew took a lunch break but other then that, they worked continuously with no breaks for 8 hours. The crew did not appear to to encounter any problems that may have slowed them down. The crew knew exactly what they were doing. The work area was completely cleaned up after the job was finished. I would have appreciated photos documenting the progress and details of the roof installation but this oversight was my fault by not wanting to get in the crew's way and not wanting to spend so much time on the roof. I would recommend taking photos to anyone installing a new roof.

I used to have a horrible roof but now I have the best looking roof in the neighborhood. I would absolutely use this company again.

He was great. He arrived on time and was professional. The manager talked with me and explained all the work. I was very satisfied with the end result.

contacted Jay at ariat roofing for an estimate on friday he came out that saturday gave an estimate and i was very impressed with his professionalism gave the go ahead to do the job he said he would call me tuesday to let me know if it would be wednesday or thursday called as noted scheduled for wednesday showed up in the am job completed in early afternoon clean up was great new roof looks outstanding will definitely use ariat roofing for any future roofing needs.

. I used to have the lousiest roof in town but now I have one of the best in the neighborhood. I just had an old wood shake roof which should have been replaced years ago. But I just went on repairing it. Now I had the concrete tiles. I am not worried about the snow which we may have ones every ten years. I am more concerned with the heat. It keeps the house more on a constant temperature. I am happy with it. They were more expensive than the other estimates. But what I ended up was superb. So I feel I got my money?s worth. I would use them in the future.
