The Ariat roofer showed up exactly on time. He crawled around the roof with me looking for the potential causes of my leak. He was a straight-shooter and explained different options. Most importantly, he gave recommendations based on short-term and long-term ownership. It was obvious that he wasn't just trying to get all of our money. When they did the repair, they were on time an expeditious. We were very happy with their service and haven't had any leaks since.

Excellent overall and in detail. Jay, the owner, explains everything to be done very clearly. He and his crew arrived right on time to begin, about 6:30 AM. The entire crew was friendly and very professional., These men are true experts in their assignments. First, the existing tiles are removed. Then the felt and existing fairing strips are removed, which exposes the existing plywood. New felt is laid and tacked down, followed by new fairing strips. At this time the primary flashing is secured around any roof vents. Next the tiles are secured along the fairing strips, and the secondary flashing around the vents is put into place. All vents and flashings are painted to match the color of the roof tiles. All work is inspected to insure proper completion. Jay and crew are very easy to work with, and they do exactly what Jay says will be done at time of estimate.

They got me fixed up and I will absolutely use them again when the need arises. I whole-heartedly recommend Ariat Roofing!

Company's owner came out the same day he was called and made an estimate for how long the job would take; by what date the job would be completed; and cost of the job. Everything he said was accurate and came about as he said. Excellent explanations were given on how and what would be done. Most of the job was completed within days of the initial call which was a very wonderful surprise. The remaining work was completed right on time! Very professional and customer oriented. Will definitely refer to family, friends and neighbors.

We had a violent rainstorm, and one week later noted the paint buckling int he ceiling. We are relatively new to this area and have not had to deal with many contractors. So, not knowing who to call to check our roof, we decided to try Angie's List for the first time. After evaluating the top three roofers, we decided on ARIAT. I called the listed phone number and was referred to Jeff, the evaluator and scheduler. He promptly responded and we set up a date. He showed up on time, and introduced himself. He listened to our problem and then inspected the roof and found the area of the leak. He was also happy to answer several other questions that I had regarding my roof. He seemed to be very knowledgeable, and carefully explained all of our questions. He then sat down with us and outlined the problems and the estimated cost. We were so impressed with Jeff that we agreed to have the work done. He then sent an email estimate and contract via email and after reviewing it I gave the go ahead. Since our job was small, Jeff informed us that although they were busy with other jobs, he would fit us in the schedule in a reasonable time frame. A little over one week later, we were called to say that they had a time slot. Jeff and the crew showed up on time and went to work in an organized fashion. The crew appeared to have worked together for a long time since each person knew what to do and did it efficiently. They were careful to not damage the other parts of the roof, they replaced the leaking portion of the roof according to code, and then some. They completed the task in one half day and hauled all of the debris away. But what was very impressive to me was that they cleaned up so well after the work was done that I did not have to come behind them and clean up on my own. This is rare among contractors in this area. Jeff supervised the work and checked the progress. He showed us what was done and told us to call if we had any problems. would we use them again..."you betcha!"

As of now, I have only received an estimate on roofing services, but I will definitely be using this company once I close escrow on my new home. Jay was on time and got right to work. I only ended up needing some preventative maintenance and cleaning, but the estimate was extremely reasonable. I received the estimate within 48 hours of having the inspection, and I liked that it was broken down into parts and labor so I can see exactly what I'm paying for. I will update my review as soon as I have the work done, which should be January 2013.

During the last heavy rains we notice our roof was leaking and an exterior wall was wet at the ceiling and around a window. I went to Angie's List and found a roofer with lots of good reviews and found Ariat. I called and talked to Jay. The next day Jay came to the house and gave me an estimate. We felt it was a very reasonable price and agreed to have the work done. Jay informed us that because of the rain and wind they were very busy as so many were in the same predicament as us. He said it would take a couple of weeks to fit us in to the schedule. Two weeks later he called and said they would have time the next day. The crew and Jay arrived at the appointed time, did the work quickly. So far we are very pleased with the work, but will know for sure the next time it rains.

Jay was second to come out. Said we didn't need "caps" like first guy did. Came two days after signing the esimate, all done in one morning. Jay came buy a few days laTER TO PICK UP CHECK. qUICK, NEAT AND EASY.

He set up an appointment and never showed. They took a couple days to even call back to explain the situation (I had called back with no response).

When I contacted Ariat Roofing, Jay came to my home a few days later. He went on the roof, took photos, and then sat down with me to explain what work needed to be done and what the cost would be, including a discount for being an Angie's List member. Once a date was set, he arrived with his men even earlier than stated. There were at least 5 or 6 workers, and they started working immediately. It took around 4-5 hours to complete the work. Upon completion they cleaned up any debris and blew off the patio, walkways and driveway. Jay inspected their work, I paid him, and off they went. Unbelievable! Since that time, I have had a few neighbors stop by to say they saw the work being done and stated that "those guys knew what they were doing". One neighbor asked for a card so he could contact Ariat Roofing. I have nothing but high praise for the work that was done.

Called. They called back same day. Came out next day for estimate. Fixed roof a week later. Still has not come by for his money.

Jeff at Ariat roofing was able to get me scheduled prior to the heavy rains on Oct 11-12 that would have been damaging because of an existing roof leak. Lots of thanks! Some confusion between the job foreman and work crew about the amount of tiles to be nailed down to the roof. But it was worked out.

Jeff and I had an appointment for Wed afternoon. He called me late morning and said that he was running a little late due to some customers adding options at the last minute. I gave him the option of rescheduling my job for the next day if he wanted to. He was grateful for that option and said that he would call me later to let me know his progress. A couple of hours later my phone rang as Ariat trucks were pulling up to my house. The crew that showed up was very proffessional and they got right to work. Jeff wasn't to far behind them and he climbed up on the roof and took pictures of the areas they were fixing and directed the guys to pull a few more tiles below the area that was at issue and lay felt further down. He inspected the sky lights and cleaned up and secured that area also. My roof wasn't leaking when I called Ariat this job was a preventative matientence type job and I am confident that all is well up there for sure now. Thanks Jeff and all the guys in the crew...appreciate your integrity and proffessionalism.

They worked effieciently and they took out the rotted material and replaced it. The workers worked really well, and so far it looks very good. They also took pictures and showed us the hole. They did a very clean and very good job. They charge what they say they're going to charge and they come out when they say they're going to.

Our house has a small flat roof on the back side of the house. This small flat roof has been a problem since we bought the house new, 23 years ago. In total, four roofing companies had tried to make this roof not leak. They had failed. After the big rainstorm a few weeks ago, we found the familiar brown spot on our family room ceiling, letting us know that the small flat roof had again leaked. I looked at Angie's List to find a roofer. Ariat Roofing had more reviews and many more A's than any other company. In fact, Ariat had more good reviews than all of the others combined. I called Jay at Ariat and left a message. He called back very quickly. He set a time to come and look at the roof. He was right on time. He thoroughlly checked out the area, explained the problem and how he would deal with it. He quoted us a price of $450 and right away gave us the 10% Angies List discount. His crew arrived at the appointed time, were polite and got right to work. They finished up about 45 minutes later. Jay arrived, inspected the work, gave us the paperwork for our job, which included a stated warranty period. To sum it up: Ariat is a company to trust to do a good job. We will definitely use Ariat if we ever need a new roof. We will also recommend them to others.

I called to book an appointment that went to voice mail. The mailbox was full. I called back an hour later and spoke to Jay. He said to send him an email with my request. I thought this was a bit odd. I sent the email and have not heard back from him in over a week. Business must be good! At least tell me that you are too busy so I can find someone else. UPDATE: Just read your response to my review. "I thought this was very nice of me?" Why don't you just admit that you finally sent me an email 12 days after I contacted you. You are lying, you did not recommend anyone else that does balcony repairs. I am quite sure if you talked to me you could have handled the balcony repair as it only needed some caulking against the house and in the sliding door. We have been chatting back and forth by email, so you don't need anyone to contact you liar. Stay away from this dishonest company.

I called Ariat Roofing to get an estimate on repairing a roof leak. I had used another company previously to repair the leak, but the leak came back. Jay, the owner of Ariat Roofing, came by and looked at the ceiling stain and then examined the roof. He found that the air conditioner had a loose side panel and that there was water in the A/C unit. He said that there was no indication of a gap in the roof itself, so the most likely cause of the leak was water overflowing inside the A/C unit and going down the outside of the return air duct to the ceiling. He gave me an estimate for putting a channel around the A/C if I decided to do so. I called my A/C company to come out and inspect the A/C unit and seal the loose panel. The technician found that the condensate duct was not connected inside the A/C unit, which would lead to the overflow of water around the return air duct. Rain water could also get into the unit. The technician connected the condensate duct and sealed the side panel with additional screws. The A/C is now draining properly and the latest storm did not cause any problem either. I was very pleased with Jay's analysis of the problem, which I would never have thought of myself. I would definitely use Ariat Roofing for any roofing problem in the future.

From the estimate to the completion of the job, everything went well. The quote was given in a timely manner and the job began when promised and took less time than expected.
