The owner, Jay, was friendly and straight forward. We worked out what product to use along with the pricing. Jay's crew was on time, friendly and very proficient in their tasks. They had the old roof removed and the new one installed in 1.5 days. Good workmanship and I am happy with my end product. I got what I paid for and feel that Jay and his company have a high level of integrity.

It went very well, was done in a timely manner, preventing a drenching rain from doing an y damage to my new house. Although I really should have a new roof, Jeff worked with me as a new homeowner, and made repairs to hold me until then. He warantied it for two years, and assured me it should last much longer. I was very happy with the company, the work, and would absolutely recommend them.

They were prompt and came with a crew large enough to complete the job in the time that was promised. They cleaned up after themselves. Im really happy with their performance.

The cost was very competitive with a few extras added to the scope of work. The workers were prompt and worked continually until all repairs were completed and all materials were removed from the property. Jay, was great to deal with and stopped by during the work to ensure that I was satisfied and that all of the items we discussed were taken care of. I wish all contractors were this easy to work with.

Excellent. Jay (owner) responded to my call for an estimate the same day. Two days later his crew was on my roof and had everything fixed in less than 20 minutes!!! Excellent service. I highly recommend for any roofing needs.

they were great, punctial, cleaned up after themselves including replacing furniture they had to move to access roof, took 58 minutes for lunch and completed in 2 days of work 1 day less than they estimated it has since rained and no new leaks. This company is worth their A rating. getting the 10% discount as an Angies member was a bonus Workers were poplite and as quiet as roofers could be. USE THEM !!!!

I went with another company

I called for an estimate on a Monday and set up an appointment for Wed. Jeff Miller was the contact. As a matter of fact, I actually contacted him on the Angie's List web site. He called me minutes after I clicked the send button. We set up the time for him to come. He was prompt and friendly. I showed him were the (small) leak was coming in on my 2 story house. He then climbed up to my roof and checked for the leak plus inspected the entire roof. After he discussed what he saw and how to remedy the problem we set up a schedule for the repair. Fortunately they had time the following day (Thurs) to do the job. The crew led by Vincente came in the morning and in no time did the work that we had agreed upon. He too was very friendly. Jeff came back to complete the work, by that I mean to collect payment and to make sure everything was up to snuff, it was. I am very happy about the process and would recommend them whole heartedly.

Everything was great from the start. Called and was told by owner that Jeff would call to make an appointment to come out for an estimate. Jeff called the next day and we set an appointment time. He new the problem the minute he saw the area and explained to me what needed to be done. Three days later he and two workers arrived at my house at 615 (he made sure the time was ok and would adjust schedule if not) they finished the job in two hours. Jeff explained he would have to return to paint some mastic but wanted to make sure it was dry. From the other reviews on Ariat I understand why - a class operation and would have them back if needed and would certainly recommend them to anyone needing roof work.

With the exception of the new roof. You would be hard pressed to find any trace that they were ever here.

They did a great job. They were quick and fast. Their price was reasonable.

I contacted Ariat Roofing based on the many recommendations I read from Angies List, now see why they get such high praise. The day after I emailed my request for a quote Jay Gray contacted me and set-up an appointment to look at my roof, he was on time and very professional. Onsite we discussed all the aspects of the job, no pressure, no unnecessary props, hand-outs or confusing brochures just clean and simple information. After having two other companies prepare proposals for this job I was impressed by Jay's straight forward approach and his cost effective solutions for a couple of issues involved with our roof, the next day I received his proposal and we scheduled the work. On the day of the installation a crew of 7 arrived on-time, prepared, and well equipped to get the job done, they immediately went to work covering the work zone with tarps to minimize the mess from the falling debris and protect our plants. In short order this highly organized team had the old roof off, replaced some bad sheeting, replaced all of the roof penetrations and were installing the new roofing material. Doing a roof in Las Vegas In June is by no means an easy task but these guys were professionals through and through. I highly recommend Ariat Roofing!

Did a great job, and I would use them again in the future

Owner Jay Gray talked with us extensively regarding the replacement of our old roof. He insured we had all our questions answered. Upon contracting with us he set and insured a date for installation. On the morning of the install Jay and his 7 Man crew showed up early. They did their work quickly, safely, and competently. Upon completion of the job my entire yard had been cleaned up, all nails that could have been on the ground were cleaned up by magnet, my pool was as clean as before they started. The dumpster for the old shingles was not picked up by the debris company until the next day. Mr. Gray's crew members returned and swept up my entire driveway again once the container was gone. The men stopped working once while the Solar folks planted rods in the roof before shingling to hold up their panels. The crew ate their lunch while waiting for the Solar people to complete their tasks. The Crew then went back to work and did not stop until the job was done. Their day on my roof was from about 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM with about 40 minutes off to eat and have the solar rods laid by another company. Everyone on the crew was cheerful, pleasant, and experienced. My cost for this job was well within the reasonable range. I feel that I have an excellent quality roof that should last for my life in this home. I doubt at this point I could ever recommend anyone other than Ariat Roofing. Mr. Gray sure made me a believer. He is the best!!!

Jeff is the person that I worked with. He was very friendly, professional, and prompt. A couple of weeks after the service we had a wind storm that blew shingles off. I called him and he was in the area and fixed it for free. He referred me to a company for my gutters and that company worked out well. I wanted him to do a service on the roof and he advised against it and suggested the gutter company as that solution would work better.

out of all roofers came within 1 day for estimate. crew replaced /tear down with a crew of 10 in a 24 hour period. Others either did not return call or overestimated the square footage of roof. cleanup was an ongoing process . JUST A GREAT JOB.

After the rainstorm in January, 2013, we found water on the floor in the front bedroom and the carpet was soaked. We assumed we had a roof leak so we called a roofing company (not Ariat). This company told us that it was probably the roof, but would not guarante the leak was coming from the roof, but they would clean the debris off the roof, and examine it for $1,000. So, we called another roofing company (a good decision) and Jay came and looked at the outside of the house and the inside the house in the room where the leak was. He took a look at the ceiling and said the leak was not coming from the roof. Then he went outside and said the leak was coming from the rain hitting the ledge and the ground. He then suggested we call our insurance company (best advice we ever received) to see what they could do.

They were very professional and did a good job. It was difficult to get in touch with them initially.

Jay and his staff were very professional.Repair crew was large enough to complete the repairs within an hour. Oversized whirly birds were installed without price increase.

My wife noticed a exhaust pipe cover had blown off during a windstorm. We were sort of desperate as rain was predicted soon. I called 3 "A" rated roofing companies on Angie`s List. All requested to leave a message and they would call back. Ariat Roofing returned my call the same day.( of the other 2 companies: 1 called 2 days layer and the third one has never called). The rep,Jeff Miller,came the next AM to replace the cover .Since our house was approx14 years old I also requested he inspect the entire roof. He stated he always does that as a matter of routine. After the minor repair he showed us photos of other areas which would need repair-not urgent but in 2-3 years. We opted not to wait and he quoted us a price and stated he would be able to do the work in 2-3 days.The next day it rained ! Thank goodness he came initially when he did. As far as the general roof maintenance was concerned,he and his workers were ON TIME and the completed everything in about an hour and a half. I admire his honesty and the professionalism of all.

We bought a new home and our inspector noticed some issues with the roof -- namely a broken tile, some sliding tiles, and a pigeon nest. Based solely on Angie's List reviews, I selected Ariat Roofing to come out and give us an estimate. Jeff came out a couple days out from my initial phone call and got-up on the roof. He took pictures of the problem areas and gave me an overall report on the condition of the roof. He quoted me a price to 'button-up' the roof and perform the preventative maintenance to keep the roof healthy. He said he would send me a written estimate detailing his verbal quote, and I received the quote that evening via email. I called to schedule the work, and they were about three days out at the time. We booked a date and they said they'd be there at 7AM. I got to the house at 7AM to find the truck out front and a couple of guys already on the roof. They worked quickly and Jeff showed me more pictures of the work they had done. Finally, he gave us some tips on future roof maintenance and what to check for to keep our roof in good shape. All in all...it was easy. They were extremely professional, on-time, no-nonsense, and friendly. I can't honestly think of a negative regarding my experience.

PRELIMINARY REPORT OF ESTIMATE AND ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS I spoke with Mr. Gray on the telephone and made an appointment for him to inspect my roof and provide me with replacement costs. Mr. Gray arrived on time. He was friendly, professional, and informative. After inspecting my roof he sat with my Wife and I and explained what he had found and the costs involved in replacement. Every detail was outlined and if necessary he drew diagrams to show what he was talking about and how the repairs would be accomplished. When Mr. Gray left our home we knew a lot more about roofs and roofing than before his arrival. Mr. Gray called in the evening, as he sad he would and provided us with his proposed costs for the work to be completed. We talked a bit about the price and I directed him to come over in the morning with a contract for us to sign. Mr. Gray arrived promptly with a professional contrat that outline the steps that would be take and the materias to complete the roofing. I signed the contract. Ariat Roofing will complete their work in one day within the next two week after I have the solar heating panels and piping removed from the roof. At no time did I feel pressured. Nor, did I feel that I was provided errant information. I was given no false hopes regarding part of the actual work to be done. My personal feeling regarding this Roofing Provider are that he is honest and honorable. He is a local company and deals with his clients as though they were his neighbors. I am quite pleased at this point with Mr. Gray, his professional attitude, and the efficiency of his administrative process. I will provide another review upon completion of the roofing job by Mr. Gay of ARIAT ROOFING.

The first time that we dealt with Jay of Ariat Roofing, we needed to have the asphalt roof on our prior house's garage (in Boulder City, NV) replaced. It's total cost was about $6,60.00. He was on time for our estimate, and impressed me with his helpfulness, honesty and professionalism. He was willing to explain different styles of shingles and the advantages, disadvantages and cost difference for each of the styles. While he was there for our estimate, I hired him to replace the asphalt roof on our garage. He, and his crew, arrived earlier than he had told me they would, unloaded everything they would be using and were ready to start working when I was told they would start. Everyone on his crew was professional, and courteous. They worked hard, and got the roof replaced in the time-frame Jay had originally told me that it would take. I have dealt with many contractors, and one of the things that amazed me about Jay's crew is that when Jay was called to another job because of an emergency, no one working at my house slacked off because the boss had left. They all continued working as hard as always. They finished our job on time, and on budget. The entire area was cleaned up and didn't look like all of the shingles had been removed (which was a mess while it was happening). They had put tarps under where ever they were working so when they would finish an area they would roll up the tarp and then sweep up whatever had not fallen onto the tarp. I know that it is rare to find such a nice, professional, and honest contractor -- and his crew. We appreciate everything that Jay, and the Ariat roofing crew has done for us each time we have called on them.

Called Ariat roofing to set up appt. to come look at my tile roof that needed repair. Company gave me the estimators cell # and told to call Jeff. I called Jeff approx April 26th and explained to him that house was a rental home and that I lived in so. cal and for him to look at the home and let me know the cost to fix. Sent Jeff a text on the 27th telling him that I had talked with the tenets and he could stop by any time he wanted unannounced. Sent another text on the 30th asking when he might stop by to do the estimate. On May 1st while I was at the rental house Jeff showed up and was quite courteous and explained to me the damage the roof had and that he would get me an estimate sent to me by email later that night. Jeff told me that if for some reason I didn't get his quote that night to text him to make sure he had written down the correct email address. I sent Jeff a text the night of May 1st explaining that I never did get his email and sent him my email address again. It is now May 6th as I write this review I have hired another contractor who came by and gave me a quote the same time he looked at the house. Hoping my F score helps other home owners think twice before wasting their time. Follow up: just today received a text quote for work to be done, May 13th, 17 days after inital appointment.
