American Veterans Garage Doors

I called out technician to get a 2nd opinion for my own peace of mind. My garage door had issues with Remotes talking to Genie main unit. First company came out and diagnosed the problem as a receiver board in my Genie. David G. from American Veterans came out and actually got the remotes to work but diagnose it as a bad logic board going bad. This is what I originally thought as I actually had put two receiver boards in my model but it wouldn't work. I tried to explain this to the original company that came out and I'm in the process of either getting my money back or getting them to replace the logic board. Veteran did their job and if I were to deal with them through my home warranty I'm sure it would have been done right the first time. Thanks again American Veterans.

We had a garage door tune up and a spring replaced. Carlos came out on time, calling first to let us know he as o n his way. He was very personable, very efficient and definitely knows his job.

Blake did an amazing job installing two garage door openers for me. He was fully prepared with everything that I could possibly of needed on his truck. He explained every aspect of what he was doing and why. These were also larger than the standard garage door sizes. He even took the time to program my car and also program my existing door opener that I'd never been able to sync with my car. I am extremely satisfied with their service and would recommend them to anyone looking for great value, punctuality, and honest work.

Our garage door sounded awful when opening. I had lubed the rollers and hinges, but it didn't help. I called American Veterans Garage Doors to come take a look. The tech arrived when scheduled. The tech took a look, and spotted the problem, a broken cable hub. He gave me a quote for the repair, including a 10% Veteran discount. Since he had parts with him, he proceeded to effect the repair. He worked quickly and efficiently. When finished, he ran the door up and down a few times, demonstrating the problem was resolved. I was very happy with his work, and would recommend his company to anyone needing similar help.

Cody arrived on time introduced himself, asked about our concerns, explained what he was going to do, and set to work. He diagnosed the problem as worn rollers. He replaced all the rollers, realigned the track, checked the drive belt tension and thoroughly tested the operation. He also checked our other garage door and lubricated it as appropriate.

Called for help at 8:00 AM, help arrived at 10:30 AM. It is now 11:30 and all work has been completed and the garage door is operating perfectly. Cody came to the house and immediately went to work. He explained what was required and that I had a choice in quality in the type of spring I chose. He had 3 varieties to choose from and I chose the middle of the road. Work began and Cody diligently completed all the tasks at hand, including replacing the springs, bar bearings, replacing the head board for the garage door opener, replacing a frayed cable and tightening and lubricating all the rollers and bearings and adjusting the garage door opener. All in all I am very happy with the quality of work and professionalism that Cody provided as a representative of American Veterans Garage Doors.

It went excellently. Michael came out quickly, within an hour of me calling. He was very thorough in examining the door, even weighing the door, something none of the others I called offered to do. He explained the problem, gave me multiple price / durability options and a very good price for the option I chose. He did not try to push any of the more expensive options. He completed the work within half an hour, then showed me how to maintain the springs, hinges, rollers and other parts of the door. He didn't try to sell me new hinges or any other add-ons. He was very friendly and professional.
