Aloha Animal Hospital

I have no complaints. They are pretty good with rabbits and it is hard to find vets that know as much about rabbits as they do. They were very good answering my needs. They were caring and I felt like that they went above and beyond last time we were there. We had a rabbit dying and they were good through that.

Initial medicine did provide some results.  however when they recommend that I bring my dog to a skin specialist,unfortunately don't have funds to cover the expense and cost it would take.

We are so happy to have made the decision to bring our dog and cat here!

They are very good company. The doctors there are very nice and very good. Their prices are reasonable. Everything there is excellent, we hardly have any wait time, they are very organized and a very well-managed company.

Great!  We have been using Dr. Cheryl for years now for our cats & rabbits.  I find this place to be the most caring veterinary office.  They really go the extra mile to squeeze you in if you have an urgent matter or need a particular day to be seen.  I find Dr. Cheryl to be genuinely concerned & loving towards all my fur friends.  One of my rabbits needed a tooth trim under sedation & they did it for me right then & there without making me come back to get him later, which is super nice!  I like that she is very proactive but does not push you to do unnecessary tests or procedures - it is genuinely FOR THE BEST INTEREST OF THE ANIMALS!!  I'm the type of person who will do anything for my pets, so it is very refreshing to have a place that isn't price gauging you to death but makes you aware of all your options.  Also, the staff is extremely compassionate when it comes time that you lose a pet or have to make the decision to euthanize.  Dr. Cheryl stayed with me the whole time & really made a tough situation a little less tough just by being so sweet.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

Aloha Animal Hospital's office staff are very nice. I've never had a pet before, so I've never been to a veterinarian before. My dog was a little shy and skittish. He wasn't able to get on the scale and then I got him up there. The vet came in and was so nice. She sat down on the floor with him in her nice clothes, petting him and kind of examining him a little bit. Having never been to a vet, I really liked them. They're very warm and friendly. They called us back the next day about the lab results. About a week later, they sent us a handwritten note, thanking us for choosing them.

They did a great job, were very caring and in the end recommended to the Veterinary Specialty center in Las Vegas as our cat had cancer and needed surgery.

I've been going to Aloha Animal Hospital for years. I've worked with all the Doctors there. There are three that I can think of: Dr. Jason, Dr. Sheryll and Dr. Jamie. The vets and techs there are all very kind and very polite. They are very interested in the pets: they know you when you come in. They take very good care of the animals and they charge a reasonable price.

They are very professional and are punctual. They give quotes before services and are very close to spot on or spot on every time. I used this clinic because of comments from Angie's list. I would strongly recommend this vet to anyone. Their price is a bit more than other vets I've seen, but the quality more than makes up for the cost. You get what you pay for.

Long story short = I really, really like Aloha Animal Hospital.
I've been a pet owner/lover all my life.  I've lived in Las Vegas for 35 years.  And, while I've never been one to do annual exams/shots, I've been to a couple of Vegas vets.  Never have I been more impressed than I am with Aloha.  The vets, the techs, and the front office staff are wonderful.  I discovered Aloha via a web search.  And I'm glad I did.  The five star reviews are accurate!
I've had two of my feline friends into Aloha.  Most recently, KZ developed an issue.  After a series of visits, tests, x-rays, and meds, I had to make a decision which I'd never had to make before: say a permanent goodbye to my furry love.
When I moved to Las Vegas I needed extensive dental work and, luckily, found a wonderful dentist.  After many years and much work he moved to Utah.  I liked him and his work so much I made a number of trips to Utah to have him finish what he had started years earlier (a full mouth of crowns).  Well, I feel the same about Aloha Animal Hospital as I did about my dentist:  I'd not only drive across town but across state lines to visit them!
I know this is "just" Angie's list.  You may or may not believe online reviews.  But, trust me, mine is both heartfelt and real!

WE called Aloha looking for an Avian Vet because our normal Dr was out of town. We were happy to find  Ms Sulliban. We just bought one of our conures and just wanted to make sure he was healthy,  I had a few questions about his behaviour. We waited less than 5 minutes amd were taken in to the office. Ms Sulliban thouroughly checked our babies and answered all our concerns.A week after we had visited them we got a call from the vet personally to assure that every thing was fine with our 'kids',followed by an email and finally a letter welcoming us to their practice. I have had Doctors that have never put forth that kind of effort!  The price for our visit was surprisingly fair,and the entire staff was friendly and pleasant. Poor Vets. They don't know what they are in for..We claim Aloha now as our Vets and we are bringing in all 5 of our dogs,our 12 parakeets,two conures,and maybe even some Koi if they get ill.Yep they do Koi as well. Great Vets,great business.

I think very highly of them. They've provided excellent and compassionate care to my rabbits. They're very concerned. I'm impressed with their professionalism and friendliness. They have great follow up. They go out of their way to make things as convenient as possible and comfortable for the rabbits. I couldn't ask for better vets. They're all exceptional.

My cat started limping late at night on 6/26/11 by 6/27/11 early in the morning he seemed increasingly in pain & his back paw was swollen. I searched through Angie's List the night before & that morning & called Aloha 1st thing as soon as they  opened 6/27/11. The person answering the phone was very nice & pleasant. I set an appointment for the 1st available. I was running late for the 0900 appointment time since it took a little longer to coax the cat into the carrier so I tried to reschedule but was told someone had taken the other appointment time. My stomach dropped. I thought I'd have to use a different vet with not so many nice reviews. I told them I wasn't going to be there til 0912 & they said "no problem". That was great! Once I arrived they had me fill out only 1 form & I gave them a copy of my cats previous records from the state we had just relocated from. I only waited about 5 min. & they took us to the exam room. The tech was awesome! She said it wouldn't shock her if my cat had an abscess & that they are fairly easily taken care of. She explained everything as she did it & even took some extra time to help me trouble shoot my living situation with regards to feeding habits. She made a great suggestion that I plan on implementing. The vet came in next. She is fantastic. She has personality & a way that reassures you that your furry companion is in good hands. And just as the tech said, the vet diagnosed my cat with an abscess. They checked my cat in for debridement & wound care under light sedation & gave some pain meds & just as quoted, in 2 hours I had received a call that he was done & ok & ready for home. They gave pain meds to me, provided explanations, & addressed all concerns I had. He was brought out by the VET! It was an awesome experience (all things considered). So on my way home I received a few calls not just from the reception but also the vet regarding my cats diets. They were letting me know that they wouldn't have to write a script for their diets & that they carried what I needed but if I wanted I could pick up scripts anyway for another place to fill.....With service like Aloha has provided me & all the staff's pleasantness & professionalism, I'm sticking with them from prescription diets to primary vet care & emergency vet care! They are also very affordable -  they did not try to take advantage of our situation. They are truly caring, compassionate, & professional.

We have been very happy with Aloha.  They really take the time to explain everything to us.  I am probably a troublesome patient for a vet.  I want everything explained, to know why it is going an and why they chose that class of drug etc... Dr. Jason is nice enough to not only explain everything, but he even thanked me for asking a lot of questions, and made me feel like it really was ok that I was so nosy about what was going on with our rat.  So many vets don't tolerate that sort of questioning from a client. The other big plus is that they do not pester me about some of my more unconventional approaches to pet ownership.  I feed a raw diet and choose a more limited vaccination schedule.  They are not particularly supportive of a raw diet, but they don't pester me about it.  When I asked for nutritional advise they were able to provide me some good information without trying to sell me a bunch of dog kibble. The receptionist are also very nice.  Soon after getting my dog I called them just about every day (thought his teeth were turning silver, worried about normal discharge from his male parts and a few other things).  They managed to talk me down from my new pet parent worries without having me come into the office and spend a lot of money.

Aloha takes care of all three of our family dogs, and they're fantastic. The hospital is modern and clean, they send timely reminders when the dogs need vaccines, do a terrific job on dentals, and have the expertise to deal with brachycephalic dogs like my pug. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and with 3 vets, there's never a long wait for either an appointment or to get in to see the doctor. Doctor Jason and his staff worked overtime last year to save our Boston terrier when she was bitten by a rattlesnake. Aloha Animal Hospital is a long drive from our home, but we're happy to make the trip for super service!

The 2 docs were great, staff is great. Everyone seems genuinely friendly and compassionate. The prices are fair, and availability was great both days we called (same day or first thing next day appointment slots available). When we brought our puppy in, he was lethargic and vomiting constantly. We weren't sure if he had eaten something that had gotten stuck, or if he just wasn't feeling well, or what. The vet examined him thoroughly and decided to take the approach of 'let's rule out the small stuff first' before resorting to x-rays and other costly measures. Which is a lot nicer than some vets I've been to, who like to CYA and shotgun treatments for 8 different potential diagnoses, generating a crazy bill. The vet's hunch was right, pup ended up fine and recovered quickly with the meds given. Our cat developed a similar problem a few weeks later and saw another vet. Same deal, she tried to rule out other things before resorting to more costly procedures. Kitty was fine a few days later. Both visits got follow-up phone calls from the vet themselves a few days later to make sure all was well and that the symptoms were gone. Great place for your critters!

Dr. Jaime has been our vet for 5 years. She takes care of our parrots and our dogs. She is a wonderful person and runs a great clinic. Clean, punctual, organized and freindly. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Amazing! Thanks to Dr. Cheryl, along with a customized allergy de-sensation program specially for our dog, our dog's skin has been allergy- free for months. Their facility is immaculate and we trust them 110% with our lil guy!
