Affordable Tree Service

They came first and left looked at the tree that we needed to be pruned and left an estimate which was a very good price. There was also a coupon on Angies list and good reviews so I choose them. They said they would come between 12-2pm but they never showed up until 3:30pm. Other than that - they did a great job - the tree looks really good. It was growing sideways and they were able to re-stake the tree and straighten it out. I would recommend them for sure. They guy they sent us was Raymond - really knew his stuff.

Came by at agreed time for estimate and to perform work. Very quick workers and completely cleaned up after work completed.

Affordable tree service came to remove 3 of the trees in my yard. They were there when they said there would be and cleaned up after they left. I wouldn't have known they were there had it not been for the trees being missing. Great job!

After obtaining an estimate, I arranged to have the work done on 4/5. The price I paid reflected a 10% Angies List discount coupon. Four workers arrived at around 1:15pm and immediately went to work skinning my two larger Palm trees. In addition, they trimmed several brown branches and did a great job cutting excess dead bark off each tree to give them a nice shaped appearance. The whole operation took about 45 minutes. All debris was removed and the workers did a great job cleaning up. I am really happy with the quality of work performed. My Palms look so much better. This really enhances the look of my property in that area.

They not only do tree service but they also clean up the yards, fix the sprinklers and everything else. They do landscaping services as well. I had them do a lot of stuff. It went excellent and I was very pleased. Brandon is the estimator, he comes out and we talk to him about what we want done. He tells us what it's going to cost and they come out and do it. About a six man crew came out. They charged exactly what the quote was. I was very pleased with the price. They came out exactly when they said they were going to. I've used them about four times already.

I had already had bids from 2 other top rated and heavily reviewed companies that I felt were too high, so I decided to get a couple of more quotes. Affordable Tree Service (ATS) responded and had a estimator out same day and walked the property with me. I gave him the same list I had given the other companies. I had discovered that what I needed was more of a tree service as a lot of the oleanders and such were mature and tall and that some companies (Mauri for example) have a special division (or sub out) the tree work. The morning after the estimator from ATS was here I received a detailed email Estimate broken down from my list! I LIKED THAT!.....NONE of the other companies did that... the other estimators just threw out a price at me after we did the walk through... The highest was just almost TWICE(!) the amount from ATS. All in all the prices ranged from ATS at $2300 to $2650 from Mauri(not including palms) to between $3500 and $4500 (that include re-planting some flowers and redoing a planter box which might be worth $500 at most.) I called ATS and booked them for March 5th and 6th. Javier and his crew were here 7 hours each day and took care of everything on the list that I had written down. Here is my only caveat... if you want something done, no matter how small...or how automatic you think it is, make sure you put it on your list!!! If it was not on my list, it didn't get done without asking... they did cut up the tree branches so I could use them in the fireplace after I asked. (I gave a tip to Javer for everyone at the end of job) BUT... there were things I took for granted that I didn't notice had not been done that I expected would have been automatic... - Weeds and grasses along front of front fence should have been hit when they had the weed wacker and then raked it out (15 minutes one person maximum) and I don't have a weed wacker. :-( - dead fronds on small palms in back yard didn't get trimmed... They got all the big ones... but forgot the little ones and I didn't notice till they were gone -- pretty bad quality weed spray... a week after-- the small weeds hadn't died and after the rains the ones that were tiny are now growing "like weeds". They only charged $40 on the estimate for spraying and on this property the Round-up alone will probably cost $40 all by itself to get it good... so I can't really complain. -- The fountain did not get cleaned out of the crab grass as I had imagined or thought it would - It was only weed wacked which is worthless... Javier suggested having a crew remove all dirt and crabgrass roots, seal the fountain and replace dirt and re-plant with lantana. But that would need to be separate job. I did send them back out before they left to cut back some things a bit more than they originally did and that was done without question... I'm sure if I would have noticed the front fence and small palms Javier would have taken care of them too. All in all for the fee of $2300 I was very pleased. The yard is at a point where we can do the leftover detail work ourselves. ATS took care of all the big stuff and did a great job at that. I need to get them back out to do the fountain when I can afford it.

They arrived on time, were very polite and professional. They listened to and did exactly what we wanted.

I called and asked if I could get an estimate. Brandon was sent out and he showed up on time. His estimate was quick, simple and his prices seemed fair to me, especially considering the time it would take me to complete this trim job on my own. I told him that since my wife and I are in and out of the house at different times all the time, I wasn't sure if I could be home at exactly the timeframe he provided. He told me that wasn't a problem and that if the work was performed while I was away, they would be happy to send the bill in the mail. This company acted professional from start to finish and their price seemed very fair for the work which was completed. Did I mention that my trees have never looked better? There is no way I could have trimmed my trees as well as they did. They also completely cleaned up after themselves. There were no trimmings left behind. It's obvious that professionals completed this job. I could not be happier with this company and I plan to call on them again in the future.

We contacted Affordable Tree Serivce and Brandon came out to give us an estimate to remove a Mesquite Tree. We then called Eric to schedule the service. The crew was very punctual and efficient. The company also honored the Angies List discount.

If everyone ran their business like Eric runs his, there would be no need for Angie's List! Amazing service! Brandon came out, gave a very reasonable estimate ($112, including Angie's List discount), the crew showed up right on time. I was not home at the time. I had a question about the fruit tree because I thought another branch would be pruned, and I didn't know if the tallish palm tree was pruned enough. I called Eric, he texted me immediately, I sent him pictures, and he explained what they had done. But he made it very, very clear that he wanted me to be happy. I decided to have the fruit tree pruned more and also the tallish palms. His crew came out again, apologized for having to come out twice, even though it was really my fault. Both times they cleaned up everything. I cannot praise this company enough and have already started recommending it to my friends, and will continue to do so. If I had known how good they were, I would have had this work done awhile ago. Please, don't call anybody else! I cannot tell you how incredibly impressed I am with this company.

I have used this company at least 3 times. They always respond immediately to give me an estimate. Today they trimmed and cutout the dead of 9 privets, cut back a 12-foot rose bush, trimmed a good-size olive tree, trimmed 1 queen-palm, 2 Mexican-palms, and 1 pney-tail palm. The job took about an hour. Then they cleaned up. Good Job and good service!

These men did a wonderful job. All the trees looked great when they finished. The crew cleaned up nicely as well. They were very conscientious and detail-oriented at all times. I also appreciated that we were able to come up with a scope of work that fit our budget, as we had recently bought a foreclosure and the bills we've had on the house had been frequent, and high. It really helped us that this company was able to make a plan for us that was manageable for us, and we were very happy with their work. We would definitely use this company again.

I called for my mom...after my mom was frustrated with many other companies not calling back or showing up. They were great...showed up gave her a quote along with the coupon and showed up today. My mom is thrilled they cleaned up everything and even took some of the stuff my dad cut down! Great Job!!

I have used Affordable Tree Service on an annual basis for about 9 years. The crew shows up as scheduled and completes the work to perfection each time.

They came out to the house after a phone call and we discussed the situation and what I was hopful could be done. After talking he gave me a price (which included a Angie's List Discount !) set up date and time. They came out on that date and time and did the trees. They were fast and very neat. I really couldn't of been more pleased. I will call them next year just to shape the trees up. k

Had a large tree (approximately 25 feet high) in my back yard that I wanted removed. I received an estimate of $200 to remove the tree and $60 to remove the stump up to 6" below ground. The workmen arrived on time and within 45 minutes had removed the tree, ground it up, cleaned up the area and left. About one hour later a second crew came and ground up the stump. Everything was clean when they left and you would never know a tree had been on that spot. Did a great job. True Professionals.

In September, I called and received 3 bids. These 3 were all from Angie's List. On September 21, 2012, my husband and I selected Affordable Tree Service for the following reasons: 1) they were on Angie's List and we were given a discount because of being an Angie's List member; 2) they are also members of the BBB; 3) their price was competitive and 4) we received a written estimate. We scheduled the service for November 2nd. On November 2nd, the first to arrive were 2 men who removed our fig tree, ground the stump down 6 inches and cleaned up their job immediately. We could not believe how fast this tree came down. They had completed their job in approximately 25 minutes. The second crew, consisting of 4 men, arrived a short time later and started on the mulberry and cypress trees. It only took them a little over an hour or so to complete their work. Both crews did not mess around, they came in, did their job, were very polite and professional.

First, they were early and started right to work. The tree cutting and removal of the tree was quick and efficient. It was the first part of the service. Second, I had the two tree stumps ground down below level. They were a second team but were there within 15 minutes of the first tree removal. They even using a leaf blower on the deck to clean up. Finally, I couldn't ask for a nicer set of people. I would use them again.

They were professional and had two crews one to take down the tree and the other followed a few hours later to grind the stump.
