A1 Garage Door Repair Las Vegas

HORRIBLE..04/12/17 I left work early, 12:30PM to be here for the 1PM -3PM install. At 2:35PM no one had called, text or showed up. I called the company. They advised oh no you are scheduled for 2pm-5pm, and advised they were sorry for the miss-communication. The Tech who is suppose to be at your house is just finishing another job, he will call you. At 3PM Tech Akeem W called and said he would be at my home in about 30 mins, sorry for the miss communication he was told my appointment was at 2:30PM someone changed the time and didn't notify you. He arrived after 3:30PM began work at 4:00PM and finished the job at 10:21PM.SERIOUSLY...this was a 2 person job and they only sent 1 person. He also didn't do a good job. He had problem with wiring. At 7PM I asked him how much longer, he advised 15 minutes. At 9PM I advised him I had enough, I go to bed at 9PM to get up for work at 5AM he said he was having problems, he had the main control hanging off the wall because he couldn't wire it. He said a wire was broken and he would have to go thru the ceiling with new wire, well that took him to 10:21PM and the wire is stapled to the wall and ceiling and looks awful. I asked him why did he do that, he said well I'd have to go thru the attic and its late. REALLY...I said maybe if you had been here on time at 1PM you could have done this job and you should have had help. He said the wire in the wall is broken, I said it was fine before, the old garage door opener worked the wire wasn't broken then. He advised he broke the wire in the wall when he took off the old button. So Now He cost me time at work and time at home. 6 hours and 51 minutes for a 2 hour job. At my home till 10:21PM. I am a widowed senior. THIS COMPANY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THIS AND DISRESPECTED ME, MY TIME AND MY HOME I refused to sign, or pay. I contacted the 24 hour number 2 times for them to document what was going on. They could not believe he was here at my home that late. This is a gated HOA community that does not allow workers to be in here doing work after a certain hour. I WILL BE CONTACTING THE NEVADA STATE CONTRACTORS BOARD TO SEE THE BAD WORK THAT WAS DONE ON MY PROPERTY. I am also contacting an Attorney for the same, plus being in my home till 10:21PM. He left exposed wires with no cap over the wires connecting on both sides of the garage door and on top of the opener.

3rd time we have used A1 Garage Door Service. Before, we have used coupons for a tune ups & stuff at apartments. We now are the proud owners of a nice house and thought we better have our garage door checked out because it sounded awful, squeaking & ratting like mad. Called A1 and made an appointment that accommodated our schedule. Our technician, Barry, was great! He arrived at the time they gave us and was very courteous. Our garage door received a super tune up and he recommended a additional parts that we had him install. Our garage door had really old inferior parts and was noisy and problematic. Now it’s nice and quiet and we are happy! Thanks to A1/ Barry and his great service!

This was our 2nd emergency service from A1 Garage Door Service. And just like our previous time, they were friendly, professional, and responsive. Donna helped me book a same-day appointment between 3 & 5 pm. Mike called twenty minutes before, and arrived in a timely manner. Mike explained the current situation and quickly and effectively repaired the door. A1 Garage Door Service accepted my previous coupon, no problem. I will continue to use A1 for garage door service.

Stop looking around! I can tell you, these guys are the best. On a Saturday at eight o’clock in the morning I called them regarding a problem with the garage door at our rental property. A1 booked us and scheduled us for 10. Wouldn’t you know it, by noon it was totally fixed and for much less than I had expected. A1 took the time to inform me exactly what was done, also what to do to prevent problems from occurring in the near future. These people do business like they did in the good old days; great customer service with no surprises.

I had a broken garage door torsion spring they came out to fix the problem rapidly, and when they said they would. The spring was under warranty, and they honored that with no hassle. This is an honest review as I have zero personal nor business relationship with A1.

Unfortunately discovered my garage door big spring broken at 6 in the morning. I heard it make a loud SNAP! Called A1 Garage Door because of all the good reviews at 7. They were at my house at exactly9:30 am as scheduled and it was completely reopaired with a new spring by 11. Great service & price. Brian is nice. I say give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Quite recently we had a spring break on our garage door. I called A1, and they were at my house in around 3 hours. They recognized the problem broken spring quickly and also recommended another small repair to make the door function a lot more quietly. They gave me a heads up of several other things that may need to be done in the future, but they applied no pressure to get me to do those repairs immediately. A1 and Brian the tech were friendly, professional, and completed the work with haste. I felt that the total cost was reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend A1 to friends & family.

I’ve used These guys 4 times now for various projects , repairs, and properties. Each time the fast communication and the quality was excellent. I had one situation, when my vehicle was stuck in my garage and we were packing to leave town for annual vacation. A1 sent a guy out ASAP the same day to replace & install my springs and get me on my way. Very thankful for A1.

Awesome! The torsion spring to my garage door broke just before Summer vacation. I called and A1 had the door repaired within 5 hours of my phone call. The price was totally fair and they gave me a great warranty! All the employees are very friendly.. and when it’s time for a new garage door I'm calling A1 !!

A1 Garage Door Service is one of those great businesses that you really want to tell people about. Smart employees, hardworking guys, honest and priced to compete. A1 takes pride in their service and workmanship. The service guys are experts on garage doors and openers. I called A1 with a broken spring and opener and A1 scheduled the repair for the next day …Peter was the tech, and he got it done fast and with serious attention to detail. Various warranty packages to fit anyones’ budget!

Chris, the technician, was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly.  He explained the issue and completed the work in a timely manner.  The work included new springs, rollers, plates, and lifetime warranty.  Will recommend them and use them in the future.

Technician did a quality repair job - everything now in good working order. The reason this review doesn't have a higher grade is that I had to make two appointments to get the company out to do the work. First time, made the appointment - time came and went - called company and was told tech was running behind. They never called me to let me know this. Then I had to call back and was told tech wouldn't make it on scheduled day. Had to reschedule appointment - that time tech showed up with no issues.
