Alex gave us an estimate and included other additional work such as painting the side gate and adding an overhang by the back door to keep the rain off.
We chose the color which was lighter and the coverage was great. The house looks great.
There was a place they fixed after the job, and they came back to fix it right away.
They included the garage doors, front and back doors. The price was good as we have a two story.
We are totally happy with the results. We would refer A. Gregg and use them again in the future.

We initially contacted A Gregg Painting because the company had completed exterior house painting jobs for a large number of homes in our subdivision. The homeowners I spoke to said they were happy with his work. We obtained an estimate from A Gregg, in addition to 3 other painting companies. The estimate A Gregg provided was comparable to 2 of the other companies and he could start the job within a day or two after hire, so we decided to hire them. The entire job was completed in one day and we were pleased with final product. During the final walkthru, there were a few places that needed to be touched up and they had to renail most of the eaves brackets that had worked loose through the years. Everything was addressed without a hassle.

The owner of the company knocked on my door in the morning with a quote and the whole exterior of the house was done by mid-afternoon. He drove me around the neighborhood to pick the colors I wanted, went out and got them, and got started right away. The team did an excellent job painting and left me with the remaining paint for touch-ups. We haven't found anything to touch up, though. Excellent company with an owner who really cares about his customers' wants and needs.

They were painting a house in the neighborhood and I went to talk to the owner. They were on time. They were efficient. They finished it in one day. The job was very good. I have no complaints. I didn't get any other quotes so I didn't compare their prices.

These guys are FAST. Within a half-hour of agreeing on a price the work was started. They first did a power wash, then masked everything, then painted. They started at about 1:00PM and were finished except for cleanup by about 7:30PM the same day. The next morning they came back, did some minor touchup, cleaned up and left.
The good news is that the work seemed pretty good. BUT there were problems:
o They broke some decorative inserts over the garage windows. The boss didn't seem interested at all in figuring out how to get this fixed but instead dropped the price by $100. This would have covered about 1/2 the cost to get them fixed IF the parts were still available (which they weren't). I realize it was an accident and the inserts WERE fragile but I didn't care for the attitude.
o I told the boss at the time of the estimate that I wanted the house "painted the same color". My house was pinkish-beige (looks better than it sounds) and the front door, garage door and side door were white. When they finished all of the doors matched the house color rather than having been painted white. I asked the boss about this and he just said basically that he didn't notice when he picked the paint for the job. Really? Actually, it looks okay so I let it go but I thought this was VERY unprofessional.
o When they painted the front and side doors they just sprayed with the doors closed leaving a white frame around the edge of the doors. I've never seen a painter paint that side of a door while it was closed. Again, no big deal but I felt it was unprofessional. The boss did touch it up for me.
o The painters left masking debris on the roof. It took four conversations with the boss to get it removed. Each time he said he'd have his guys get it down. He finally did it himself.
o When they were all done they didn't do a very good job of cleaning up. For several days I was finding discarded masking tape and paint chips as well as the broken pieces of the garage door window insert. Not terrible but not good either.
o The original estimate said that the walls would be painted. When they got done I noticed that the side of my wall facing the street was NOT painted. I questioned the boss and he said "the Association takes care of that". No, they don't. It is MY responsibility. I told him this and he said he'd bring his people back to do it "at cost" (which was $300). The current paint on the wall wasn't in bad shape so I let it go but, again, not very professional on their part.
Bottom line, the paint job is okay. I'm not unhappy with the job but I'm not delighted with it either. If you use them, get everything in writing. If there's something a little out of the ordinary (like my walls) make sure everything is spelled out very clearly. And don't just say "paint the same color". Be specific. They obviously don't think for themselves. And if you have any delicate trim point it out to them before they start so they'll know to be extra careful. You shouldn't have to do that but with these guys you do.

On Saturday morning my husband was doing yard work when they were painting a house across the street from us, Billy came over to talk to my husband who told him we did need our house painted. Billy walked around the house with him, noted the work that needed to be done and gave him a quote. Later that day after talking it over we decided we wanted to hire them. When we called to tell them, they were there within an hour to power wash the house and told us they would be back on Tuesday. Tuesday morning they got held up on another job but came by to tell us they would be there as soon as possible. A crew of six showed up Tuesday afternoon and worked late into the evening. They came back Wednesday morning finished the job in no time. Alex came by a little later to make sure we were satisfied with the before taking any money. We couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they got the job done. Will definitely recommend them to friends and neighbors.

The painters showed up promptly to prep the exterior for painting and then painted the exterior.

I couldn't be happier with the end result. They were on time, professional, courteous, and darn good painters.

A. Gregg was very professional and did an excellent job. Cracks in the stucco were filled and everything was covered. The mess was cleaned up after the job was completed and we were left with paint for future touch up. We were very satisfied with the cost and the quality of the work.
