I am happy with the new vacuum. The Hoover was over 15 years old and was not worth fixing. The Miele is a by far, the best vacuum I have ever owned. The Sales rep and technician were very friendly and I would recommend A1 Vacuum & Sewing to my friends and family.
Description of Work: I brought in my hoover vacuum for repair. It was not working properly and needed a complete overhaul. The tech checked out the vacuum and I was told it would cost about $140.00 to fix it. I declined and bought a new Miele vacuum.

Go Figure !
Description of Work: The Hoover Windtunnel kept shutting off after 3 minutes of use. Took the machine to A-1 Vacuum & Sewing several times. First time, I was told it's the Heat Sensor .That was supposed to have been changed for $65.00 I took it home -- didn't work. Took it back next day, they worked on it and I was told " works fine, how high is your carpet "? The height was raised -- no luck. Took it back again , was told by the owner, " could be the motor ". Wasn't the motor. Picked the vacuum up AGAIN and was told," it was the wire leading to the Heat Sensor".
