First off, the table was hand made in the Philippines out of solid Mahogany, and valued at $5000 plus. When he finally delivered the table, the two leaves were sticky with wet stain, and the table top was half flat/satin finish, and half a real bad simigloss that he admitted just removing because his son thought it looked bad. In addition to the finish being the worst job I have ever seen, the top wobbles on the base that he cut down the 1.5 inches, and is so un-level that it looks like a snake. I told him it needs to be wiped down with extra fine steel wool, and he said don't ever use steel wool on wood...are you kidding me! Now, I will have to refinish the top and two leaves, and shim the table to the base to level it, and probably screw in place underneath to keep it together. Quite frankly, A1 Tech ruined a beautiful table that had been in our family for over 35 years, and now I have to make it right. I will never use this company again, and do not recommend them for any serious furniture repair work. In all fairness, the reupholster job was satisfactory.

Called A1 Furniture Tech and asked if I could get an estimate for repair.  Rod, the A1 Furniture Tech came to my house an gave me an estimate of $150.  Took the Drexel Octagon with him and told me it would be about a week before he could have it completed.  Rod, was very professional, nice person and had the job completed as scheduled.  Did a excellent job and looked like it never even happened.  Really knows how to do this and I am completely satisfied with the job he did.  Would recommend him to any one that needed this type of work done or any other type of furniture repair.  Going to have him make a leaf for a antique desk I purchased that was missing this part.

Rod was very punctual and very polite. He was helpful in telling me where to buy good deals in fabric for the chair. His quality of work was excellent.

He is a fine gentleman. He took his time with our stuff. He was very courteous and informative. We would use him again. We have used him several times. He always informs us where he is at with the repairs.

Rod was great to work with. He set an appointment with me quickly and showed up on time. He was very professional and was able to identify the problem quickly. He had all the tools needed to make the repairs and now our dresser works properly. Would definitely call him again! Thanks!

We were about to throw away our wood patio furniture set as it was so worn and wobbly. A-1 Furniture tech gave us a fair estimate for the amount of work required to restore it. He brought it back looking BETTER than new. Great, honest service and the guy was so kind. I wish I'd known about this service before. Will happily recommend this company to others.

He came over looked at the chair gave us a price and the chair was back in three days looking as good as new

Responded next day.  Arrived on schedule, diagnosed and replaced a broken bolt in 30 min.  Very professional and excellent demeanor.  I will definitely use his services again.

But he knew what he was doing and determined what needed to be done quickly and efficiently.  I will definitely have him finish.
