"It is disheartening to receive even a partially negative review from a client, however, I take all comments to heart and try to learn from them. It is difficult to provide an estimate for furniture restorations since you cannot always anticipate what you will find once you begin disassembling the items. Unfortunately, due to the severity of the damage of the furniture I was unable to provide this client with an estimate. I was unaware that the project took longer than the client expected. As with all my consultations I indicated this project would take approximately two to three weeks to complete. The furniture was picked up on 4/9/13 and delivered on 4/29/13. At the time of delivery I had no knowledge my client was disappointed or surprised with the cost of the repairs. I provided a detailed invoice, complete with progress photographs, to fully disclose the scope of work performed in repairing the furniture and even extended a 10% courtesy discount on the invoice. As a Master Craftsman with over 35 years of experience in antique and furniture restoration, I take pride in the quality of my work, as well as my ability to provide excellent customer service to all my clients.
