I have lived in Douglas County for 30+ years and hired many electrical and plumbing companies over the years. I have never been so appreciative and happy with the service I received from Bradley Electrical Plumbing and Heating. First and foremost, my call was answered, by a person, on the first call. I did not have to wait for an appointment, and they worked around my schedule. They had me send photos and they responded to my texts immediately. They continued contact, even calling me when they were on the way. Tim was so kind, very professional, extremely considerate and talked with me through every detail. He needed a part, so he called the owner, Dave Bradley, who within 15 minutes, delivered the part in person and stayed to make sure I was satisfied with the service. It turns out that I have to replace a microwave oven, so they are coming back to install it for me, and assisted me with dimensions and specs for safety and code compliance, so I don't purchase the wrong microwave. Mr. Bradley says "I am building relationships, not customers", and I for one, value the relationship created today with this company. You should consider doing the same.

Took plumbing items that did not belong to provider. Installed an owner's part without permission or discussion and charged for it! Had to pay for two service calls ($139 each) in order to get a very high "estimate" which was the minimum cost. Was able to save $100 through discussion (productive and professional) about misunderstanding first verbal estimate. Second verbal estimate was $50 less than second written estimate. Final price was in a prompt invoice, rather than discussion upon completion of job. Final invoice contains a disclaimer about the work. "Estimate" and invoice do not reflect time and materials. It is a lump sum! Very expensive!

"To address the first accusation: We were notified by the owner that our tech "stole" the parts /material from the job site. We spoke with the tech and he did in fact "remove" all scrap parts/material from job (which we always do if its trash and or scrap). The owner of the company returned the piece of scrap material the next day to the owner. 2nd accusation: We were asked by the owner to install "owner supplied" part and in fact we put it in writing in a formal estimate which also reflected the cost of job and was authorized by the owner prior to doing the work. We have worked with this particular client for years and there has always been matters of money. We have not only given this client discounts and no charge calls we have carried balances for this client on several occasions which is why we started putting all service calls to this client in a formal estimate so he would know ahead of time what to budget for. Our company always takes the position of doing the right thing but in all reality even doing the right thing will never satisfy some... Thank you for your comments, Bradley Electrical Plumbing & Heating"

David's Office answered my call and scheduled me into their busy day as I my Furnace was not working here during the middle of winter and I was very cold.
David Bradley came within the window Ashley said he would. He showed me what he was doing and how to relight the pilot. Why it wouldn't stay lit, and then replaced the inexpensive part.
Phew. That' is a relief to have the heat back on in such a timely and reasonably priced manner.
He also gave me some DIY ideas to increase the efficiency of the 1960's era furnace.

I was charged $130 for an estimate and that I don't use their service anymore because I don't believe in paying for estimates. He fixed the valve and did a good job. I used his service a couple of times but will most likely not use them again if they would charge the $130 for an estimate.
Response from Bradley Electrical Plumbing Heating
"I apologize for the late response as we just recently received notice from Angies list we had a review. We have been to this customers house twice - 1st being on 6-4-2008 for an emergency electrical call as they were having 30 ppl over for dinner that night and dining room lights were not working. We arrived assessed/troubleshot and made a temporary repair as it was an intermittent issue. The call was discounted from $204 to $136 due to ease of job / Mr Goodman was to call us back for further troubleshooting/repairs. 2nd call was on 2-3-2009 8 months later for related issues with electrical. We troubleshot and found the main source for the electrical issues - this was not a call out for an estimate. Mr Goodman was on the books for repair and called the morning of appointment and cancelled stating he was sick (he never called back) He was then billed out for the call on 2-3-2009."
