 + -1 moreOverall, it went really well. Chris was very professional and took the time to explain all aspects of the job. Cost noted is labor only. We had selected him after interviewing several contractors; one plus was that he was recommended by the vendor we had selected who custom manufactured our shower and vanity surfaces. The project took longer than we had anticipated because we had to wait for the custom vanity to be completed, and because Chris had several other jobs he was doing concurrently. He was very good at what he does, the only frustration was that it took three full months (from July to Sept) to completely remodel our 9x5 bathroom. There were several other contractors who had bid lower than Chris, but we did feel he did quality work and felt he was worth the higher fee.
Description of Work: Full remodel of 9x5 hallway bathroom, including removal and disposal of existing overhead light box, rotted subfloor, vanity, toilet, mirror, tub and shower walls. Installed a GFI outlet, exchanged ceiling fan, installed homeowner's new shower valve fixture, coordinated shower pan, walls and vanity top installation with external manufacturer. Fixed dry rot and performed structural repairs. Installed new subfloor, installed new greenboard and sheetrock where removed and retextured and painted walls, installed tile on floor and in shower. Installed homeowners new toilet, mirror, vanity, towel bars, grab bar in shower, robe hook, lighting, cabinet handles. Installed new baseboard, enlarged hole for medicine cabinet, painted new door and installed.
