WAYNE MONTAG PIANO TUNING

Wayne has tuned my 1922 Baby Grand Piano twice . He did a fine job both times. He is definitely the guy to tune yours!

I was planning a concert in my home and needed my 85 year old Baldwin grand tuned for that event. It had been tuned several months before, but I felt the job was not done right. As a result, I was anxious about the piano and the concert. 

Mr. Montag came to my rescue.  He was completely professional and conscientious, following through with phone calls until we finally made contact and set up a date for the tuning. He did a great job. The piano sounded fabulous, and the concert went very, very well.

I have owned my baby grand for about 7 years now and I have had four different piano tuners tune it, and I must say that Wayne really gave the piano the best tune and most accurate tune I have ever heard on my piano. His price was in the same ball park as the others but the tune was much more accurate. As a musician/composer the quality of the tune is very important to me and Wayne did a fantastic job.

Always a wonderful experience! Wayne arrived just a few minutes ahead of the scheduled appointment time, went right to work on tuning our piano, and was done in less than an hour. Wayne called me right back and we set up a time for him to come and tune my piano. He came over just a few days later, right on time, was very courteous and surprisingly said that the tuning he gave was the only one needed (my piano was in dire need of attention!) I will definitely use Wayne again when my piano needs further tuning.

He always sends out a reminder card (which I appreciate as I lose track of when we last had piano tuned). Wayne calls back promptly and is always on time. He does a great job tuning-both my daughter and husband play, and they notice right away when the piano is back to sounding like it should. I have used Wayne for several years now, and will continue to. Good technicians are hard to find and he is one of the best! Very professional.

I can only recommend Mr. Montag to everybody. He is very friendly, punctual, knows what he is doing and explains it to you. And he is somebody who really cares about his work and does it very professionally. I like his personality and his work.

When Wayne realized he was going to be 30 minutes late for the scheduled appointment, he called me to let me know, and arrived within 5 minutes of the rescheduled time. He was quickly able to determine the extent of the tuning required, and immediately went to work. The tuning was completed within one hour. I was very satisfied with the service.
