Whenever I've had miscellaneous jobs to do around the house -- install ceiling fans, assemble patio furniture, rewire sockets, etc., Ben has doen the job from soup to nuts -- shopping for items that are needed, coming over, doing the work, making sure everything is ship-shape before he leaves, etc.  And his charges are very reasonable.

Fantastic start to finish. Always does great work.

Although I felt pretty silly and embarrassed for having called Ben for my electrical problem when all I needed to do was reset a GFI, I wanted to share the details of this experience for a reason--to show that I believe Ben to be something I wasn't sure I'd find: an honest electrician who wasn't going to take advantage of me.
I was the one insisting that I had a serious problem and that Ben would probably need to climb into the attic and trace the appropriate wires to find the one that was shorted out. He could have done what I asked him to do, charging me appropriately for the time. Instead, he found the actual problem and solved it.
Maybe this wasn't exactly a test of his skills as an electrician, but he knew what to look for and the next time somethings goes wrong in my house, I'm going to call Ben!

In order to fix the leak in the shower, the handle needed to be cut off because of our hard water and it hadn't been replaced in a long time. This took some time. In the end, everything was fixed in a timely manner. Ben was professional and curteous. I will use him again.
