Stain Masters Carpet Cleaner

Called for information on their carpet cleaning specials that allegedly started from $59 and the Rep said they had to come physically look at the carpet which is reasonable. At my residence they had very heavy sales tactics and wanted $800 for a small simple carpet. After multiple refusals they kept dropping the price until it hit $300 – but only if I paid cash. They described in detail the extensive two week cleaning process and called a week later to deliver the carpet. They were over an hour late from the promised time. They delivered the carpet and left and then came back to the front door saying I owned an additional $150. After producing the original receipt (with even had different numbers than were originally quoted) but showing my cash payment, they backed off and said it was a ‘system error’ even though everything was hand written. The delivery guys were cordial but had zero information about anything and said they just pick up and deliver. The carpet seemed clean but still had pieces of detergent and hair on it. The whole company and process is truly a giant scam.

Had an estimate for $124 and then the technician came in.  After inspection, they quoted $610.  When we said no, they reduced it to $499, then to $357 then to $124.  My husband had to literally force them out of the house.  it is quite stressful and the behavior was very unprofessional.

He was quick but with all the banging I was amazed nothing was broken.

Responded to an ad do 4 rooms for $59. . Did not find out about other fees eg shampooing fees until they arrived. Also was supposed to come between 12 and 2, but did not arrive until 3. Gave an excuse that no one was home. Not true.
