This company was great to work with most of the year. We paid the rent on the first of the month, every single month. This company sent out a rep quarterly to do an inspection, and she always remarked on how everything was "just lovely." However, when it came time to move out everything changed. First, they called several days before the lease was up to tell us that they had to do the final inspection several days early because they "don't work weekends." What? We legally had rights to the property until the 31st, but they want us to turn keys over on the 28th? With one day notice? So suddenly everything had to be moved up. Rush to get moving truck schedules, try to get helpers early and so on. Hurrying to get things out as fast as possible. Then, they called and said that they had another walk-through to do that day, so moved ours to next day. Then finally said they would do it on the first. So we were in a constant state of confusion as to when we had to be finished. We arranged to have the carpets cleaned just to make sure that they were perfect. One whole day was spent scrubbing in the kitchen and bathrooms. Everything was spotless. We didn't even hang pictures to make sure we didn't have a lot of holes to patch. The only exception was a TV that was wall mounted. After removing it, we patched it, and painted it with the touch up paint they provided. Now they claim that paint didn't match, so they're charging for repainting! 5 HOURS! Really? Charging to replace deadbolts and doorknobs. Charge to replace a burnt out lightbulb. Replacing a battery in a garage remote that wasn't used, due to cars having built in remotes. Charges to steam clean the bathrooms and kitchen, in spite of being clean. The woman who did the walk through even commented that it was the cleanest walk through she ever did. The only thing she found on the walk through was a few crumbs in one drawer and one drip on the bathroom floor! They don't mention the fact that one burner on the stove NEVER worked, despite this being found on moving in and noted. They didn't bother to fix that. One blind was broken in one of the bedrooms, but never fixed. The garage door opener wasn't working properly. It would be closed upon leaving, but would reopen unexpectedly. So it was disconnected. Noted to the company, but never addressed. Now they're charging for that! One garage remote was taped closed when we received it, but now we're being charged for its replacement! The charges like this went on and on. All nit picky nonsense just to whittle away the deposit they owed us. We were told when we moved innthatnthe previous tenants trashed the house, so apparently they are having us help pay for that. The invoice is dated 6/14/2015, but it wasn't mailed until 6/26/2015. They made sure to hold and use our money as long as they possible could. WATCH OUT FOR THIS COMPANY!
