Petals Florist

I received a Mother's Day bouquet from my daughter on Friday before mothers day. The driver called me to say he had an arrangement for me which I thought was courteous. I tipped him for his service. The arrangement was tulips, daisies and peruvian lilies with leaf accents and a small accent stem. The tulips were beautiful, but there were DEAD daisies and peruvian lilies. The large leaf accents that had been tucked in the arrangement was shoved down into the vase in the water not even above the rim of the vase, the small accent flower was hidden in the center below the water line. I did not call the florist then and when my daughter called to check, I told her it was fine, I didn't want to hurt her feelings. She is poor and she sacrificed to send me this arrangement as a surprise. When she was here on Sunday and saw the arrangement for the first time she was so disappointment. She said she ordered only tulips but the guy on the phone talked her into purchasing the next price, but it wasn't what she wanted. I told her to call the number she called to place the order and complain and that I would call the number of the florist that made and delivered the arrangement. I have received professional floral arrangements many times and I have also created my own arrangement as well as a time back was in the business of making floral arrangements and make money from that business. I never ever sent flowers that were dead or arranged like this was. I did call the Petals Florist this afternoon, Monday, May 9, 2011, and spoke with Carolyn. I gave a detailed description of the arrangement and of my daughter's dissatisfaction as well as mine. I also mentioned the words on the card included with the arrangement: "We have build an excellent reputation on Beautiful flowers and prompt service. If we ever fail to meet your expectations, please let us know. We value you as a customer. It was a pleasure to give your order our personal attention." Carolyn was not the owner, but an arranger, she was not receptive to my complaint, had no intentions of helping me or referring my complain to the owner. Her solution was to give me her direct number if I was going to order flowers again. I thought this was unsatisfactory. I called my daughter to tell her the results of my complaint and had strongly recommended she never order online again or order again from this florist.
