Las Vegas Quality Water Works

Water Heater Installation and Replacement, Water Heater Repair or Service, Water Treatment & Purification System Installation and Replacement,

About us

Las Vegas Quality Waterworks, Inc. has been offering a complete line of home water filters, purifiers, and softeners for over 20 years in the Las Vegas Valley. We also offer reverse osmosis systems and distillers for areas that have a high mineral content in their water (very hard water). Dissolved mineral concentrations above 300 mg/l (ppm) will give the water a bitter taste. Water filters (ours included) will not improve this taste, because they do not remove dissolved minerals. We can test your water if you are uncertain. For areas with hard water, we offer a complete line of water softeners! For bacteriological purification of well water (or "questionable" city water) we offer capillary membrane, ceramic, and ultra-violet technologies*. We also offer products for other well problems: acidic water, iron, sulphur, high sediment, tannins, nitrates, and more. Our site contains a lot of information (see our Services section) to help you select the best water filter / purifier for your specific needs, including information on common contaminants, the purification of well water, identification and treatment of hard water, and specific information on reverse osmosis, ultraviolet treatment, granular activated carbon (GAC), carbon block , and other water purification technologies. Our water filter line uses the latest technologies to effectively and economically turn your tap water into pure, safe, delicious drinking water. Our new low pressure capillary membrane technology removes bacteria and cysts from your water*! Water filter configuration options include counter-top water filters, under-counter water filters, refrigerator/ice-maker water filters, shower water filters, and whole house water filters Nothing too big or too small the right system at the right price! Residential & Commercial water experts! Complete water purification & conditioning systems available for any home (house or condo). Restaurants, RV's, boats, hotels, hospitals, golf courses, private wells and even water stores! We service any make or model water softener or drinking water system. These guys are the worst. My family was all experiencing dry, itchy skin for a few weeks -- despite a water softener full of salt. My water softener was installed by Las Vegas Quality Water Works (Krystal Pure from Lowes) so I called them to come take a look at it. The technician took apart the unit which was operating normally and determined that I needed new resin (he attempted to crush the old resin in his fingers unsuccessfully to demonstrate this). He did not test the water in any way. He simply gauged based on the age of the unit (13 years) and his manual "crush" test that it MUST be the resin. He tried to upsell me his company's resin ($600) vs use the free resin under warranty from Krystal Pure ($175 to install). After some research and calling Krystal Pure, I relented and agreed to have Las Vegas Quality Water Works procure the Resin and replace it. A different technician came out to replacement. He was actually pretty good and tested my outdoor spigot water to show me the difference a water softener makes. I asked him to also test the indoor water to demonstrate the difference between what I was getting today and what I would get after the replacement. He didn't really want to do this, but reluctantly agreed. Turns out, my resin WASN'T bad and I would only get about a 5% incremental benefit. But I was stuck, my unit was torn apart, the technician standing in front of me, the resin shipped from AZ to NV, and I had already contracted to have this resin replaced. So they replaced the resin and sure enough it did nothing (I gave it 45 days to be fair). I called Las Vegas Quality Water Works to explain that I felt I was "duped" by the first technician who did not properly test my water and kinda seemed to lie about the status of my resin. However, Stephanie, who I was eventually routed to, was argumentative and defended that's how her company works. They don't test water, they simply judge based on the age of the unit. That seems like a poorly run business model, preying on unsuspecting families by only performing manual tests which the consumer believes to be fact. When in all reality, for a few cents and a 30 seconds, Las Vegas Quality Water Works could simply have tested the water properly with fact-based objective criteria to determine what needed to be done. And unfortunately families get tricked into trusting them. I'm sure we're not alone. Shameful. Hopefully you don't make the same mistake my family did. I imagine this business practice doesn't just stop at Resin replacement, but likely seeps into all their business verticals and ethical behaviors, so buyer beware when working with Las Vegas Crummy Water Works...

I called on a Wednesday because the water softener had a small amount of water seepage at the bases.. They managed to get someone here on the following Monday. That cost $107.10 for the service call and a valve replacement and then they took my system back to the shop to pressure test, change carbon and resin and refurbish the valves an additional $1112.37 . Well, Thursday they called saying all done they would be here Friday. Friday came, so did they. A couple hours after they left. I went out to look at the unit and the unit was now leaking far worse then when I first call. Not bad for $1229.47. I called at 3:20 and was told that the earliest they could come to try fix their screw up was Monday. So, lousy service, high price and we'll take care of you when it is convenient for them. STAY AWAY!!!

The unit is too old to repair. He actually called until he found someone to tell him they don't even make parts for my unit anymore. He disconnected the unit for me and I feel he did everything he could for me.

They weren't able to do the tune up. The water softener was not working. They did the testing on my water, and it was extremely hard. For what they did, they did. What I is they wanted to up-sell me an new system, or a fie to six thousand dollar tank. The system or tank was not the matter. A second opinion, revealed the clock was broken, the timer on the device. The other person diagnosed it within sixty second of looking at it, without thirty minutes of testing water. The clock was broken, and needed fixing. I did with another vendor. The system works fine. I did not need a new tank, or a new system. The tune up and two bags of salt, I am not dissatisfied. He told me it was broken, just not what was broken. What I bought the tune up was fine, but he tried to misdirect me to what I did not need, at a greater cost. They were there on time, and very responsive. Since he wasn't able to determine what the problem was, I have to low grade him. I can't rely on what he tells me, I can go to another guy, to fix it much cheaper.

All work was done. He even checked on our R/O system to ensure we didn't need filters for it. He suggested we call him in 3 or 4 months to have them checked/replaced as needed. As stated above, Andrew did everything plus more to ensure our softening system and R/O was in great condition. I would and will use them again especially if Andrew as the Tech who came out. Outstanding service and I highly recommend them.

I was very pleased with the service. The technician checked out my water softener and tested our water to make sure the softener was functioning as it should. He gladly answered some questions I had about water softeners. Afterwards he left me two bags of softener salt.

Working with Stephen and his staff was an absolute pleasure and refreshing. I've had many bad experiences with service providers in Nevada and I will say Las Vegas Quality Water Works was among the best, if not THE best. Timeliness of responses, many of them directly with the owner, were handled professionally and in a timely manner. Quality of work was great and not only did they perform what they were supposed to do, they exceeded it. I will definitely be working with them again and highly recommend for all water softner or water heater needs.

Water softener was leaking resin beads into my house.  It was still under warranty and I called the company that makes it.  They said to call Las Vegas Quality water works to take a look at the unit.  Larry the technician came out and disassembled the system and said that the resin matrix had broken down and needed to be replaced.  They supposedly ordered the resin and now over a month later I call them to check on the status of the order.  Tony told me he could not tell me the status of the order because the owner of the company was not available.  He said that he would just replace the unit because that would be easier.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I called LV Quality Water Works and spoke to Andrew Jay for some guidance.  He was very professional and answered all my questions

I then scheduled him to come to my residence to install my softner system.  He removed the old system and installed the new one.  He didn't mind me asking him questions as he installed the system.  He then walked me through the operation of the system and provided me with his card should I have any further questions.  The price was very reasonable for the install.

I would definitely recommend this company again and the professionalism this company and Andrew Jay.

Stephen, the owner, put in a brand new system. The conditioner, water softner, everything! I don't get spots on anything any more! My dishes come out cleaner, skins feels so much better, and laundry looks better then ever. I called him on Tuesday and he had it completely installed by Thursday. He does all my maintenance, and has been since 2007. He recommended this system and it's far better then anything I have ever used before. It was originally between my car parking spots in my garage, which made it a pain to walk around. He worked with me and moved it right up against the wall so I could move around easier when getting in and out of the car! I would give him an A+ if I could! He put in the system at the beginning of August and I haven't had to use lime away AT ALL!

When I called the company, Las Vegas Quality Water Works, Inc. and told them that my unit was old and may not be working well I was told that I could schedule a service man to come out and check it out.
When he came out to exam the old one he pointed out how poorly it was running and said that those machines were not being used any more.  I decided to replace it.
Robert was the tech that came out to install the new system.  He was very polite and very skillful and answered all of my questions.
and I was very pleased with the entire experience.  He even gave me 2 bags of Morton salt free.

Back in early March 2015 I met Mr. Stephen C. Everett at my neighbor Fred's home on Ledgewood Creek Avenue while he was changing his under sink water system filter.  He seemed very professional and he was very informative.  He quoted me a price for two water softening systems. one a cabinet system and the other a traditional twin tank system.  Approximately three weeks went by and I decided to have the twin tank system installed.  I called and spoke to a Mr. Robert Demerath who advised that he would honor the quoted price and that he could do the job the next day.  He stated he would arrive from Henderson at approximately 11:00 AM.  Sure enough Robert arrived the next day right on time.  He installed the system in approximately one and a half hours.  He was very professional and explained the whole system to me and he was able to answer all of my questions.  He left my garage where he installed the system as clean as he had found it on his arrival.  SUPERIOR JOB! SUPERIOR COMPANY! SUPERIOR EMPLOYEES! Mr. T. Martin

We originally had them look at our old water softener that had been repaired twice by the manufacturer in one week. We were finally told we needed to buy a new Culligan softener. They charged us twice for parts that would fix it. It worked one cycle both times. Mike with LV Quality Water came out and looked at it, no charge, and said it was not worth repairing. He said they would install anyone's softener or one they sell. No high pressure sales. One week later we had them come out and install their softener. They were on time, actually early, and installed the softener. It has been working beautifully ever since. Mike left his cell number in case there were any problems or questions. We will be having them install an RO system next. Highly recommend this company. It is very hard to find professionalism and quality service in LV that comes close to this company.

The technician arrived on time and got started immediately. He reviewed what he would be doing and how long it would take. I was informed when the water would be turned off and back on again during the process. Throughout the process he was courteous and informative. I had a lot of people in and out that day and his professionalism appreciated. I have used this company in the past for other water related services and will continue to do do. Their prices beat the competition.

AWESOME! Tim arrived early ( which I always like). Scheduled time was between 9 and 12-- He arrived just before 9. He went right to work explaining what he was doing. I really like that! Quickly finished and made sure the area was clean and dry. Tim also checked my water softener and water heater and told me what to watch out for. First time anyone ever did that. Tim is really a nice guy, and very knowledgeable. I am very impressed with him and the company. I will use them for all my water needs.

They were great. It's a new home (to me), and they walked me through the entire water system, explaining everything. I had a lot of questions. They had to dump and replace the resim/media in my water softener, and rather than make a mess in my driveway or yard, they took my water softener tank away and brought it back in 2 days, good as new. The owner is who happened to come out on the first visit, he's very nice and extremely knowledgeable. I'm very happy with the service and would definitely use them again in the future.

If you have water problems these are the people to call. I have used them for 17 years without a problem. The owner came out and gave me a quote. We schedule service. The tech was right on time. I had bought a former rental property and was having trouble with the water quality. He did installed a water heater, pressure regulator and new ro. Everything works beautifully. They are so good that even Lowes uses them as their installer. If you have severe water problems, they are the only people to call. Their price is fair and service outstanding.
