The reason I went to this salon was on the recommendation on this site.. The pedi was done by Nancy.. It was very good.. She gave me such a great massage.. Then I had the gel manicure done by Ryan.. OMG.. It was awful.. He used the file.like a knife.. Cut my skin.. He used the Dremel file and kept bouncing off my nails and kept hitting my fingers.. My fingers are so sore today.. Sorry.. But I'm not going back..

This place was clean and quick. My husband even liked it. I'm looking forward to trying the Gel on my next visit.

I was taken care of immediately and Loanne did a really good job on my hands. I have very sensitive (and cracked from dryness) cuticles and she was considerate of my comfort. My one strong suggestion (and I did not deduct from ratings for this) is that the place needs to be tidied up. First impressions do count and though the care experience was great, I was really turned off by all the clutter and dust (I know it is likely nail dust).

Place was very busy....they were very businesslike and no nonsense but considering the volume of customers they had it was understandable. Pedicure chair area was a little cramped......had my mani/pedi done at the same time. Due to the small spaces between spa chairs, the woman doing my mani could only sit on my left side.....which meant that I had to cross my right hand over for her to work on it. It really irritates me to do that as it pulls my back and shoulder muscles.....I am there to relax, not to make her job easier to do.....what about ergonomics for the paying customer?????

As far as cleanliness, the salon was OK......I did not see anyone open up any instruments from sterilized baggies or obtain any instruments from a sterilizer......all I saw were instruments removed from (and then placed back into) little plastic boxes which were kept on their rolling carts. I believe that the State Board of Nevada has a pretty and quot;looseand quot; interpretation of sanitization for sharp instruments in nail salons. (Unlike Texas, where I have lived previously which requires ALL INSTRUMENTS to be steam sterilized and removed from the baggies in presence of the customers)......I havent aquired any nail fungus or toe-rot as yet, so hopefully I am in the clear.

I would/will return to La Femme.....so far the best mani/pedi I have had since moving to the Las Vegas area!!!

Went looking for a nail salon to do Pink and White and had a hard time finding one in Henderson. Located this Salon and couldn't be happier. Better job than California salon!
