Teeth were extracted and cost became $660. The big thing is that they burned my dog while under anesthesia and then denied that they did so. Numerous trips to other vets to treat this burn.

While under anesthesia, my pet was burned horribly by an archaic microwave system they use to keep pets warm. Swelling appeared a few days after the procedure on her side which soon turned to dead skin and drooling sores. Dr. Pflaum denied any heat was even used. Three other independent DVMs all said that the injury was a burn of the type that is done from the interior.

We have used them for years. We had to have a lump removed from our dog's back.

Dr. Pflaum has been fantastic. He's good with my dogs and explains what treatments are needed. I've had a couple of "urgent" visits, but I've called in first thing in the morning and they've been able to get me in. The staff is great and truly care about my pets. When my dog had cancer he didn't push for any special operation or treatment. I don't believe in all the last ditch efforts to prolong a dying animals suffering. I liked that about Horizon Vet.

Made a 10:00 appointment but wasn't talked to until 10:30. I thought I was just to drop dog off for dental exam and if anything was wrong, I'd be contacted. What happened was a visual inspection by the DVM and then a price quote from $320-720, the difference depending on if/how many teeth they had to pull. You get no heads up as to how many need pulling before they do it. I arrived to pickup the dog and six teeth were pulled including her 5 bottom incisors. Note that I'm not arguing with the diagnosis but with their procedure of such a surprise. At checkout, they want their money before you even get told about how things went. Two issues beyond the dental issue were ignored and I'll have to make another trip as DVM had left as of 4pm. I received a quick debrief at the pay counter, vs in a room, that neglected to discuss the results of the blood test that I was required to buy and had various alerts on it. I had to call back and was told that all weird levels were due to teeth condition. Not sure they even looked at my form.

They are great! They don't push things on you that your animals really don't need. They are very kind and friendly. The vets are all very knowledgeable. There are other veterinary clinics that are closer, but I drive a little further to this one just because they do a better job. They do also have the specialty foods but again they don't push you to buy them like a lot of other clinics if you don't need them.

I have been with Dr. Pflaum and his crew at Horizon Vet Clinic for over 9 years. The office staff is so friendly and helpful, especially Becky and Mary. We have boarded our dogs there also. Their prices for boarding (and all other procedures for that matter) are competitive and reasonable. He does not over-charge you for unnecessary procedures, nor does he try to sell you a bunch of their products. They just truly love animals and love their customers. Dr. Pflaum even helped my 9 year-old Boxer try to reduce arthritis pain through cold-tip laser therapy free of charge. And when it was time for us to make the most difficult decision to put him out of his misery, Dr. Pflaum and his staff did so in the most professional and loving matter. We are forever-clients of Horizon Vet Clinic even though we moved 30 minutes away. They are definitely worth the drive!

We have been using this clinic for over 10 years and love them. They provide excellent veterinary services at reasonable prices.

I took my dogs in and they came in to the room and gave them there shots andt then took them in the back to do nail trim, Brought them back, i paid then we left.

They were very nice. They were able to give me some medicine to make him feel better. The doctor seemed to lack a little compasion when she brought up bad news about my dog.

I love them, their prices are so good. I travel from Vegas to Henderson. I use them for all of my dogs.

They gave us our first visit free and we just had to pay for the shots. They seem to be very friendly and they wanted appointments so they had a $50 fee if you come in unexpectedly, that was kind of unusual.

These very simple services were performed as expected. However, at no time did any of the doctors introduce himself to us by name; comments were made that we needed to have a heart worm prevention treatment before traveling to Seattle in the summer, which is not true. Seattle does not have a problem with this, and we encountered resistance regarding the use of gas anesthesia for our pet's neutering operation. In general the overall attitude appears to be "we know what is best, and do what we say". That doesn't work for us.

Horizon Veterinary Clinic was a very good clinic to use. They were very understanding and gentle with my cat. I thought that they were very friendly and polite. I am taking my cat back there soon again. They are very nice and real good people to work with.
