Green Valley Pools

Will never go to anyone except Green Valley Pools.

The job took longer than expected but we were warned in advance one of the subcontractors was backed up. The end results were simply magnificent! The pool and deck had been patched and modified since being installed over 45 years ago. It is now even better than new and we are loving it.

Pool heater would not operate. Called GVPS and they responded quickly and fixed the electrical problem. Great job.

It went great! They were professional, spent a lot of time explaining the pump we needed, and even gave us the help of submitting the
Energy Rebate from the State of Nevada.

Kudos for a job well done!

They did an outstanding job for us. They were very responsive, courteous, explained everything to us. Their normal charge is $85 but only charged us $65.

I ended up with a BEAUTIFUL pool in the end. It's just that the pool took over 15 months to complete! I think that is a ridiculous amount of time. Every time there was a delay it seemed it took over a month to get the job restarted and then only after I would spend multiple mornings (missing work) to meet, urge, cajole, and beg for the workers to do their work. I spent MUCH more time trying to coordinate the jobs. Anything, and I mean the smallest things, that were outside of their "typical" pool plan was my responsibility to coordinate (example: I selected more expensive tile after they had already installed CHEAP tile on my $100,000 pool. I had to pay to have the old tile removed and the new tile installed). I would only recommend GVP if you wanted to build a typical, cookie cutter, pool. Pool only! Nothing extra. No decking, no planters. Just the basic pool. Debbie is a nice person but her company doesn't have the ability to rise above the rut they seem to be in. I like everyone involved. I really do. I just have a tremendous problem with spending just over $100,000 of my hard earned money and then having to dog down EVERY detail. Perhaps if I went to a more "elite" pool builder I would have gotten better service, but perhaps I would have paid more too. It's hard to say in hindsight. Just be prepared to MANAGE this company if you decide to use them.

They were very patient, diligent, and tenacious professionals. They did a fantastic job on the pool. Everything was so nice looking. The quality of the pool is excellent. My children and I love to go swimming all the time.

After numerous bids from other pool companies, we chose Green Valley Pools on the recommendation of two friends. We felt very comfortable dealing with this company. Ms. Gifford spent a lot of time with us on the design phase of our pool and spa. She was very knowledgeable about her product, and answered all of our questions. We were pleased with the quality of work and the time in which it took to complete the project. The company has been in business quite some time, and they hire reliable subs to perform the work.
