Terry, did a a great job. The clock is running and keeping time. He spent the time needed to get it to run. He explained what he needed to do and charged a very reasonable fee. I definitely recommend him.

Went very well both times.  costs and timing defined up front and was right on time with finishing repairs.  Very friendly.  Hours open are great which includes both Saturday and Sunday.  Great time for those of us who work during week. Easy location to get in and out of.

Took the Howard Miller Mantle Clock to Clocks & Locks on May 28th, 2015 and informed him that I purchased the clock at an antique shop down the Cape Cod area in MA.  Told him I would like the chime hammers adjusted as they weren't striking properly.  Told me it would be from five (5) to seven (7) days to work on it and would provide me an estimate the following day.  Never heard from him with an estimate.  After a week went by I called him and asked what the status of my clock was as he was suppose to call me with an estimate and never did.  He went and checked on the clock and suggested that it needed a complete rebuild (think that is the term he used) .  Told him that the clock was working perfectly and had just wanted the chime hammers adjusted as they weren't striking properly.  Asked him how much a "Rebuild" would be and he informed me it would be $299.  He also said he could perform maintenance for $25.  Told him to adjust the hammers and perform maintenance.  He said he would but the next time the clock stops it would needed to be rebuilts.  The clock had never stopped, had it for a month and it was keeping perfect time.  Also told me the clock was manufactured in 1994, which I knew already as I had emailed Howard Miller and they providied me this information prior to my taking it to Clocks & Locks.
Overall experience with Clocks & Clocks:  I think he knows his business,  felt he was trying to sell up on me with the rebuild suggestion.  Doesn't interact well with his customers, think he is more of a clock technical repair person.  Chime hammers are working good.  I probably will not use him again.
Response from CLOCKS & LOCKS
"Thanks for your input, we never call the customer with the estimate, we always ask them to call us the next day, you did not call. We did suggest that your clock needed an overhaul, but you" just wanted it to work" and opted for the cheap option. We are professionals and do this as a business, if the clock was working perfectly why did you bring it in for a repair i'st obvious you know more about clock repair than we do and we are confident you could have made the simple adjustment to the chimes yourself. Thank you for your business!"

It was a great experience. Terry is very knowledgable and helpful. He is the owner of the shop and also does all the maintenance and repair work himself. He has been in the Las Vegas/Henderson area for many, many years. He was no pressure on sales. I recommend him if you are looking to purchase a clock or looking to get one repaired.

Realized Clocks and Locks had moved and was happy to find them again...at a different location. They repaired my wall hanging clock in a day. Gave me an approximate price on the phone as he needed to see it first and it was pretty true to the pricing after the repair. I have used them in the past, they are great at repairs and I would use them again.

They were excellent. Their price was very good. They were honest. He told us what it was and how much it was going to be and when it be finished and everything was exactly what he said. It has been great.

It took longer than expected but that was because parts were difficult to find (old clock) - but I was very satisfied with the work. Terry Baker is the consummate professional. I would highly recommend him.

I collect old wind up and weight driven clocks, clean them, fix them, listen to them tock. Every now and then, I have a repair job that I cannot handle. That's when I get to visit this guy and watch an expert at work! I am happy to recommend him.

It hasn't run for years and now is running and chiming like new. Great job. I appreciate the extent to which he went to repair the clock.

They did an extremely good job and didn't charge me because they said they couldn't garuantee the clock would still work. The clock still works and we are pleased.

My antique mantle clock had stopped working. I was called with an estimate and picked up the clock when promised. It has been running great since.

My German Coo Coo Clock was not working. I took it to Clocks and
Locks. They looked at it while I was standing there watching, fixed and
suggested I get a service on it (that was about 4 years past due).
They serviced and fixed my clock for $25.00. What a bargain and so
professional!

Brought in an antique Holland Mold clock I received. Found out that the
old motor was defective, he managed to find a new one of the same
motor, although these are obsolete, so kept the antique value of the
piece. Very happy with the work and the time frame. If you try to use
Maps to find it, it will misdirect you. He is on the west side of
Gibson, just south of the American Pacific Intersection. Also noticed
very good prices on Rhythm and other really nice clocks he is selling
there also. You should check him out! (He is closed on Tuesdays).
