Barbie's Pet Sitting

They're really good. Cost you about $50 dollars a day. which includes 3 visits. That's what the price would be. They're comparative its close to what any other pet service would charge. The person that works for Barbie's that does this only lives about 5 minutes away from me. They're just really good. If someone asked me yes we would use them again. I think she has been in business for about 14-15 years and inside the community here people that use her just rave about her and we can see why.

Everything went great. Very pleased with the communication and level of professionalism.

After looking at reviews on Angie's List, I emailed Barbie's Pet Sitting to see whether I was in their service area. Barbie replied that I was and gave me her phone number to call. She told me they had someone who lived near me and that she would have her (Ida) call me within an hour. Ida called a few minutes later and we set up a date/time to meet. Ida arrived on time and was able to pet two of my three cats, which is not an easy feat as they are cautious of strangers. We filled out some paperwork and then I walked her through the house to show her where everything was. In addition to wanting to know the usual stuff – food, water, litter box locations – she also asked about treats, cat carriers, water shutoff, and electrical box. She also agreed to pick up the mail. My cats are pretty low maintenance, so we scheduled her visits for every other day. The cost was $20 per visit. Payment is required at the time of the first visit. I was invoiced the day after we met, so I prepaid online beforehand. They only accept checks, but they can withdraw out of your checking account if you pay online. Ida texted me the day before she was scheduled for her first visit to verify that everything was still a go. After that, she emailed me after each visit as I had requested. I really appreciated that she kept me updated after each visit, so I was able to enjoy my cruise without worrying about the cats or the house. Ida has five cats of her own, so I felt confident that my kitties were in good hands. I’m normally very reluctant to give anyone my house keys – especially a stranger – but between her and Barbie, I felt comfortable leaving the kitties in their care. When we returned, the mail was neatly stacked on the table, the food and water bowls were clean and full, the litter boxes were clean, and the cats were in good health. I highly recommend Barbie’s Pet Sitting and plan to hire them again for our next vacation.

We unfortunately live outside of Barbie's service area, but she responded to my inquiry almost immediately and gave great information on finding someone to help us out.  I am so grateful she took the time with me and gave that information, and with her advice we're on to finding someone great!  If we ever move to her area we're absolutely using her service.  Thank you again!!!

Wow! Emily was extremely nice and professional when she came to meet all of my fur babies and reptilian babies, and she paid very close attention to every last detail about their necessary daily care. Everything went smoothly while I was out of town and, upon returning, my loves were all still happy, healthy, and joyful about life. Emily took great care of them, kept them on their respective schedules for feeding time and potty time, and gave them some TLC when I was not here to do so. I was (am) super impressed with Barbie's Pet Sitting, and will be recommending their services to every pet parent I know!

We did a and quot;meet and greetand quot; with Marcia beforehand so that she could meet our babies, and they could meet her. They all hit it off. You could tell right away that she adored our kitties. They warmed up to her right away too. We then filled out the paperwork, so she had all of the information on each of them, who their vet is, where the carriers were, where their food and litter pans were, what medications needed to administered, where the water shutoff valve was, and these types of things. She wanted to know of hiding
places, in case she needed to look for one to give meds, and also for a head count before leaving. She asked if we text, because she would send us updates each visit. We absolutely text! She was very thorough and very loving.
A few days before we left town, Marcia checked to make sure that the plans were still on schedule. During each visit, she texted us the status, and sent us pictures. That was the highlight of our days! The day we were scheduled to come home, Marcia texted us to make sure that we were still coming home that day, because she was headed out for her visits, and would stop by if we couldn't make it home. We let her know that we would be home if just about hour or so, so we would not need her to stop by. Once we arrived home, we texted her to let her know that we had arrived. Marcia is now our new pet sitter. We love her!
She is so warm, loving, thorough, and reliable. We had problems with our previous cat sitters with communication and scooping. She excels that those, plus everything else. I cannot say enough good about her. I am so glad I contacted Barbie's Pet Sitting, and met Marcia!

It seemed to have gone really well. She seemed genuinely caring towards the dogs and it was nice hearing from her at the end of the day letting me know how it went! She was also willing to put the trash out and do other things, which were not needed at the time. I would, and have, hired her to come back again.

She was wonderful and professional. And she loves cat. She is very good at following instructions

It is $18 per day. They are very responsive. They take care of our animals as if they were their own. They have helped with one of our dogs that was recovering from back surgery. Because of their daily visits, his rehabilitation has been very successful. They also do overnight stays for watching both house and pets when we are out of town. We have been very pleased with them.

Excellent, when we are gone Barbie will call my cell (if I request it) with daily updates. Its great having them take care of my pet but also nice to know they are checking on my house a couple times a day while I am away. Don't know what I'd do without them !

My cat, who is a senior citizen, was well cared for. The sitter even brushed him and spent time with him on her twice-daily visits. My houseplants were watered, my mail and papers brought in, and the outdoor and indoor lights were properly set. She also took care of the trashcans, recycle and litter boxes. I met with the sitter in my home prior to our vacation. She was genuinely concerned about my animal and our home. She took notes on every aspect of our requests. Nothing was left to chance. We had a worry-free vacation because of this service. My wholehearted thanks again to the sitter and the service. They are very professional and caring. I would definetly use them again.

We could not have been more pleased. Barb and her husband even took KB on a special outing (with our permission of course) and KB did very well without us. We were gone for about 4 days. Barb was very thorough and made sure that our home and KB were taken care of. KB is now almost 16 years old and if I needed her again, I know he would be safe.
