Incredible: he completely repaired and replaced necessary components, upgraded capacitors, and corrected many of the mistakes done by previous technicians. There are important modifications done. This amp is now in a class of it's own: dynamic, musical, and plenty of power at any load. Well done again, AmpMedic!!!

I have had the pleasure of working with Phil at Ampmedic for a few years now.  I gave him the insurmountable task of re-building a 55+ year old tube amp (Harman Kardon Citation II).  This amplifier had been through the hands of at least 4 technicians and was a complete mess.  Phil explained to me that he would work on the amp in between his pro-audio repair jobs.  I knew that this would take time.  Phil spent hours reviewing the repair literature, and talked to specialists who have had years of repair experience with this amp. He has addressed issues with this amp that have not been discussed in the literature.  This amplifier has been taken completely apart and re-built.  Phil's attention to detail, his skills as a technician, and creativity are exemplary.  He knows his trade and does not pull punches.  He took this amplifier and transformed it into a world class, high end work of art.  I really appreciate the extra effort he makes to learn as much as he has about the amplifier.  A+++

I wholeheartedly recommend Ampmedic. It was well worth the time, money, and effort.
