If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased a completely new hvac system for my elderly mother who is also sickly and now trapped in a home that is over 90 degrees because we cannot afford to fix this issue on our brand new system. It was installed December 31, 2021. The company came out in 2022 3 times to fix failures. In 2023 they've come out twice. Now, 18 months later on a $10k unit, the compresser failed and needs replacing. This until should get 15 years without issue and didn't even get 2. Ambient edge REFUSED to replace it without us shelling out $2300 on labor (only) as the unit itself is under warranty. They claim that they are not liable to fix any issues from Mojave air whom they assumed last year and actually suggested I reach out to the deceased former owners family to see if they will cover it!!!!! To put a nail in the coffin, the customer service manager REFUSED to provide me with a copy of my receipt where she claims it says I only have a 1 year labor warranty. Sounds pretty fishy right.... She also claimed they are not responsible for the work of the company they assumed which sounds rife with illegalities. I spoke to the State Contractors board who urged me to start an investigation as there is 4 years of implied warranty for this type of work. I will be going forward with that as well. Do NOT use this scamming company. Read the other reviews. They are scammers who DO NOT CARE about their customers and will rip you off to save their bottom line.

They are very very good but they are expensive. They are responsive. As far as their service I'd give them a "B".

it went reasonably well. they came out on a saturday to assess the situation. it took a few days to get the part from the manufacturer, but there wasn't much that Ambient Edge could do about that. however, i should mention that Ambient is quite expensive. it appears they use a "flat rate" system based on the particular job. the part was under warranty, but the labor was not. if i could have waited, i would have checked with other vendors to find out if Ambient's price was anywhere near competitive. it is possible their price was reasonable, but i don't know. having said that, they did get the job done, and everything seems to be working fine.

It was covered in the contract. The workers were very respectful, very friendly and professional.

I request Brian to service my Trane heating/cooling system. He is highly experienced, does a complete servicing, and always shows up on time. Ambient Edge sold and installed my unit, after having an incompetent air cooling company out of Lake Havasu--they had to remove their botched Trane system (mixed/matched air handler with the outside air conditioner) after blowing up the first system that they tried to install. Their final installation job resulted in flooding my hallway after they left my home. Had to get the help of a Kingman Arizona business licensing officer to get the owner of Lake Havasu air conditioning company to remove their defective unit from my home. Stick with Ambient Edge. They know what they're doing with installation and servicing of heating/cooling systems.

I got them on Angie's List. The guy charged me wrong, took my credit card, and three weeks later the office called and said that I hadn't paid it. I told them that the guy took my credit card. I was happy with the service and renters didn't say anything. The billing wasn't done right and I still haven't received an invoice or anything like that but, I paid them $200 in addition to the $50 or $60 tune-up special. I will try to find someone else next time.

They call to let me know they were on their way ,arrived on time and they were polite , listened to my concerns about the unit.Our unit is 11-12 yrs.old and we plan to buy new,bad not this minute, we bought this house in August  2014 and we are finding out what is needed . I made the decision to refill freon and see if we could get it to last a little longer.

I moved to Kingman in May, 2008 and bought a place with a swamp cooler.  Know nothing about swampers and permitted
local handyman to service and get going as unit appears simple. Had many problems with it and it was literally dead on
July 4, 2008, which was a hot day and had no warning of imminent failure.
I searched thru yellow pages, and got Ambient out here as they advertised one hour service.  A rather nasty tech did arrive
w/in like 59 minutes.  Before starting work, he read me a 'bill of rights'  that Ambient would not warrant any work done on
swampers, he refused to commit that he could get it working but agreed to try only. I have heat seizures, was able and
willing to pay all costs to get it running and agreed.
For those unfamiliar with swamp coolers, this assertion I now know was absurd.  Any fool who can climb on a roof can get
these units running as they are quite simple in design. He informed me that a critical pump (water) had died and he could
replace it with new unit(boxed) for as I recall 39.95.  I agreed and he had unit running in about 45 minutes.  I paid him a
small fortune for work done(over $200) and he raced off property.
Within 5 min. of departure, swamper died again and I called company and he returned.  I need to stress that this tech was
a major n***, with a rotten attitude and made no attempt at pleasantries. When he returned, he inspected indoor wiring and
replaced indoor electrical outlet  for as I recall an absurd price(circa 100.00).  Latter found out cost of both parts he used
was vastly overpriced --other swamper repair co. charged as I recall 19.99 for pump and about 15.00 for electrical switch....
Swamper worked for a month after service and again died.  Called in a company neighbors referred me to and only thing
wrong was that the allegedly new swamper water pump had died.  They removed it and replaced it for less than as I recall
$40.00(including labor) but showed me the water pump installed one month prior by Ambient.
The new water pump Ambient sold me was covered with a green mold and was not NEW(the second licensed and bonded
co. informed me that they had never seen such a nightmare and that in no way would a new pump die and become  covered
with green slime in a month(as we have very lo humidity here). The second contractor also re-wired the electrical unit
he installed as it was unreliable for FREE(as Ambient tech had done bad job wiring it).
I kept the water pump and box Ambient installed and about 2 years latter, was seeking to replace furnance and  had  called
Ambient out just to get an estimate.  A very nice owner of firm came out and we talked and he gave me a reasonable
quote.  As I was mildly interested I raised my prior experience with his company in 2008.  At first he failed to believe me and
when I retrieved the moldy pump, he called headquarter and verified they had done the work, and found the invoice  and
name of tech who had  installed it.  He promised me, he would look into this and take appropriate actions and apologized
profusely  for the incident.  He promised to get back to me, after he reviewed tech notes but never did.
About two years latter I called Home Depot to come out and give me a quote for a new heater.  I was not aware that Home
Depot had delegated all repairs in this area, and the second brother arrived at my door step to give me a quote for
replacing a Coleman furnance.
Before discussing new business with him, I wanted to get to bottom of why this company hired negligent techs and although
he was not eager forced him to retrieve records on point from company, called company and pulled records.  He then
told me that the tech who had ripped me off and sold me a used part was now their lead best tech and trained others in their
firm.  Unlike his sibling, he was not friendly or even affable but rather rude.  Ambient made no attempt to compensate me
for their initial ripoff and second brother in 2012 was indignant that I raised this issue regarding a tech who at least
should have been talked to and not defended by owners of the firm for installing used equipment at outrageous costs.
Home Depot sent him out to provide a quote for replaciing a home furnance....after defending the gross negligence of their
prior work, he attempted with great vigor to sell me a geo-thermal heat pump for around $7000.  I was not interested and
reminded him that he was in my home for a quote for replacing a Coleman home furnance and not hawk me a product
I had no interest in...He then told me that Ambient no longer installed furnances...only heat pumps and we ended
dialog quickly.
It is plausible Ambient Edge may be under new management but I would be suspect. Kingman is a small town and if they
bought out Ambient, retaining their name was not to their advantage as they had a bad reputation and would make no
sense.
I hope Angie's list investigates this matter...as only a fool would do business with this company or its alter-ego.  So please
if you do have work done by them query them about their current/past ownership as believe original owners likely intimately
involved and would never hire them to even 'mow' my lawn.

They gave me faulty information. They went on the roof and they told me that I needed a new one. It was going to cost about $10,000.00. I called someone else and he went up to the roof to check it out and he said that a senor had been moved. He fixed that and the AC has been working ever since. Their punctually was good, but their professional was not.

They cleaned it and then they had to replace a part on the air conditioner. Some kind of a board, a circuit board. We found them through Home Depot. They were overpriced and they tried to sell me a new furnace.

Very well. He was on time and kept his agreement. He took his time but did not rush the service at all.
In summary: a great experience and I will use this service provider again. They are a breath of fresh air in a sea of hustlers for this service here in Las Vegas.
I was not offered any rebate or added service incentive to write this review.
