Car was leaking coolant. Couldn't get into dealer (thankfully, they are horrible). Called Aloha and Jason said to bring it in. He did a diagnosis and called me quickly letting me know what was wrong. He even said I could come down and look at it. Walked me through everything and was extremely professional and courteous. Can't recommend them enough! Great work and top notch service.

I've had cars to Jason at Aloha for several issues. The last was when I thought I heard an unusual noise when running the air conditioner. Jason and the crew checked everything out and found nothing unusual. He said one pulley might be a little noisier than normal but he didn't feel it was something I would need to worry about for quite a while. I really appreciate his honesty. On another occasion my abs module went out. I was able to find one on the interwebz pretty cheap, and Aloha installed it for a very fair price. No dealer would do that for me.

I've been to Aloha Automotive Service and Repair a few times over the last few years, and every experience has been good. A few weeks ago I took my car to the local Mazda dealer for a routine oil change. I was told I had a broken motor mount and should have it replaced. I declined because I'd rather have Aloha do any work that was required. I also thought I noticed some more noise than usual coming from the car's fan whenever it would kick on. I called Aloha, talked to Jason, and got scheduled in for the next day (Friday). Jason called me later on Friday and told me he couldn't find any problem with any of the motor mounts. He also said that while the fan was making a bit of noise, he didn't feel it was quite time to replace it. When I went to pick it up, he explained everything he saw in detail, and didn't charge me anything for his time to look it all over. I don't know of any other shop that would spend time looking for a problem and not charge for it.
On another occasion, ALL of the idiot lights on my dash came on. Jason tracked it down to the ABS module, but said there could be more to it than that. He quoted me a price for repairs, and sourced parts locally. I found the ABS module at a better price on line, so he recommended I just order it, and he'd install it.
On still another occasion, I was rear-ended by a pickup truck. I took it to Aloha, they put it on a rack and measured everything to make sure there was no damage to the frame, and charged me nothing.
Jason has been very honest, easy to deal with, and I've never felt cheated leaving there. He honestly seems to be looking out for my best interests, not his.
The shop is in a pretty rough looking area, and for that matter, Jason's sort of a rough looking guy, but don't judge the book by the cover.
