Jason is very professional and great to work with. He installed our home alarm system including multiple keypads, motion sensors, a glass break sensor, smoke sensor and key fobs. He thoroughly explained how the system works and even came back the day after to make an adjustment to our system that we had requested. Four months after we had the system installed, we called him back requesting an additional keypad to be installed which Jason was able to accommodate very quickly. We are very happy with our system and service and are pleased to recommend Jason at Advantage Security.

Jason reviewed the current security system in our home and made recommendations as to what would be required to upgrade it.  He was very knowledgeable and did not try to "push" any certain product or system.  Would certainly recommend Advantage Security to anyone looking at home security options for their home or business.

He was right one time, maybe a little early. He was very professional. He told me I might have a problem with APX because they are known to hold people to their contract. He gave me an estimate to switch to his service. If I can get out of my contract I will switch to him. They are in town and he said they would always respond in person at no charge to me.

Using Jason was the smartest decision we could have made.  He designed a personalized system and has come back several times to intergrate and teach us what we needed to know.  He's a smart and pleasant person to work with.  I would highly recommend him.

Jason is a very amiable and professional young man. He installed our system quickly, and tested it to make certain evrything worked correctly. Partway through the installation my wife asked if there was a way to have the windows open part way and still have the alarms work. It didn't phase him in the least. He quickly expained that he could do that, then showed us what he was doing and how to set the system with the windows open.
A couple of days later we had a problem with the garage door being partially open at night so I asked him if we could alarm the door. He installed that the same afternoon.

We do not have electrical connections and wiring at the best places where the camera should go outside.  Other companies wanted to install at the best place and use exterior conduit. We did not want to do that.  We called three companies and Jason offered us a great solution.
Innovative  - He used internal wiring in our house to run our cameras. This minimized 90% of exterior cabling and wiring.  Awesome job and that is exactly what I wanted. 
Quality Work - He hid most of the wiring that he did have to run along walls inside our house, under the carpet and baseboards  and then drilled to the outside. I have no idea that he actually installed anything as it was all hidden and so clean. Impressive.
Small Hole - He did have to punch a wall on the outside of our house and rather than leaving it and telling us a repair person had to fix it, he came back to repair it.  Pride in his work.  Love it.
Comfort - If you are extremely analytical, precise, focused on deadlines and become agitated when things don't go as planned, then I recommend you contact Jason Sutherland.  He will be right on your page because that is how I am and he made me feel 150% at ease!

Everything was fine with their service. They installed a keypad and wired my entire house. They made sure all the sensors worked. It took them a couple of hours and only one guy came out. They were prompt and he explained everything to me in detail. There were no surprises either. They also has competitive prices.We have had it for over a year and we have never had any issues. They are really responsive with calling if an does alarm goes off.

They were excellent and I was totally happy with them. Every window and door was wired and they and had sensors too. All he had to do was hook up the box. Jason put the 2nd sensor/motion detectors in for free. One technician came out for me for this job. He was extremely personable. He took what I wanted and made it happen. He also explained everything to me too. All of this took him about an hour.

Jason came out and review our security needs at both locations.  He recommended several options that not only met our needs as well as our budget.  We sched an appt and our system was installed with professional service.  We are very happy with our system it works as Jason described with out issues.  We have called in with questions a few times and Jason is always willing to take the time to explain options and help us out.

Fabulous.  As an owner/installer Jason is knowledgeable, personable, efficient and totally trustworthy.
The two systems are priced separately with the more expensive being the camera system.
The first day we did a walk-thru and discussed our ideas and available options.  Our home was already hard wired but the system had not been used for years by the prior owner.  We booked a day the following week for the installation which took just over a day.  Once everything was installed, he walked through it with us. 
Jason helped to download the app on our iphones and ipad so that we can monitor the camera's when we are at home or away.  That's fun, even while sitting at home. We especially like that we can see who is at the driveway or front door before we choose to open it, or not.
While the initial cost may seem high to some it's really a pay now or pay later.  Our service will be $20 a month, after the 3 months of free service for being an Angie's member.  We don't plan on moving anytime soon so the system will pay for itself but there is no price you can put on piece of mind.

Horrible!! If you want to feel secure and know your home is protected .... do not use this company!! Jason was great at installing and selling the product. He answered many questions, and gave us great feedback on what to alarm. The actual company that answers the alarm when it goes off and dispatches security... is a nightmare!! We were recently out of town and we received a call from Florida (which is where the call center is) and they told us our alarm had gone off. We explained there was no reason why the alarm should be sounding and to please dispatch immediately. Dispatch was not called and notified of the property for another 10 minutes!! In the meantime, I'm calling neighbors and family members in the city to help. Advantage security does not call me back within the 10 minutes, I'm having to call them back to figure out if dispatch has been notified yet. Finally, they tell me someone is heading to your property. Security shows up 25 minutes later (a total of 35 minutes have gone by at this point). To top it off, my brother who lives approximately 20 minutes from my house shows up at my house before security even gets there! During this entire time, I'm asking the call service person "is the alarm still sounding?" - their reply, "we are not sure, we do not know if your alarm resets at 2 minutes, or 5 minutes". Once security finally shows up he is rude to myself on the phone and my brother who is now at the property. The only feedback he provides is everything looks fine, door is locked, and no windows are broken... then why is my alarm going off? Advantage Security could not provide any assistance in this matter. According to them, the alarm went off and they do not know why. This is a real eye opener using this company. A 35 minute wait time, is pretty ridiculous. I live in the middle of the city, a mile from the freeway. It is not like I live in the middle of nowhere. I own 2 properties and I have another security system at the other house... I will definitely be moving away from Advantage Security.

Jason went above and beyond what he needed to do, has great customer service, and performed extra service for me at no cost.

Called for a home security quote.  Very reasonably priced with great service.  No complaints and 3 month later I'm happy I called them.
