It has been an awesome experience with this company and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

It was good. they were good at what they do and they have this "Pick up- Drop Off program" which is good.

Christensen Auto Tech checked fault codes, relays, fuses, wiring harness, removed drivers door panel and checked window block and switch. Inspected all hydraulic line and hoses, inspected brake fluid for moisture and contamination, inspected calipers and wheel cylinder, master cylinder and cap, flushed entire brake system including master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders and road tested for power steering operation. Inspected system for leaks, flushed lines, pump, rack and pinion and gear box. I was totally impressed and pleased with all the work they performed on my vehicle. They are friendly, helpful and professional. They also worked within my hurried schedule. I will definitely return for any other mechanical work I may require in the future. Thank you Christensen Auto for a fine job done on my truck!

THE WOK WAS PERFORMED AT THE CARSON CITY LOCATION, not Gardnerville.The work was completed well. However the manager wished to charge a $100 diagnostic fee in addition to parts and labor even though there was really nothing to do for diagnosing. The window was down. pressing the power window button one could hear the motor turning but the window wasn't moving. He advised me that 'ALL SERVICES HAVE A DIAGNOSTIC FEEand quot;.He said the and quot;diagnostic feeand quot; went towards the mechanics buying tools and towards providing a 24 month warranty, etc. I did not think the effort to diagnose was sufficient to deserve an additional fee for diagnosing the problem. He eventually relented first offering to reduce the fee to $50, and finally nothing.
This was unfortunate because I had hoped to have found a good repair shop with reasonable charges. To me this was an unsatisfactory experience. Perhaps the Gardnerville location has a different practce regarding and quot;diagnosis feesand quot;.

I have been extremely happy.

The only issue was a breakdown in communication - the job completion was going to be delayed and they didn't let me know until I called them to inquire. The job took longer than expected. They apologized and gave me a ride to their shop to pick up my car when it was done. I have used Christensen for other work as well and will continue to go to them for my vehicle repairs.

not well

I had problems with my car starting so I had it towed to Christensen's repair shop in Carson City, NV. They had it for two days, but of course, it wouldn't do for them what it was doing to me, wouldn't you know? However, they exhaustively checked it out, and in doing the diagnostics, I found out my little car is in pretty good shape, in spite of its age and mileage. I didn't think the price for all the diagnostic work was unreasonable and it was a relief to know the results. I had a very pleasant experience with them and would readily recommend them to any of my friends. Plus, I will go back to them for service, in fact, I have an appointment this Friday for an oil change.

Bought used pickup truck from a friend for a very good price but I knew it needed a lot of catch-up maintenance to "bring it back".Christensen has a good reputation in Carson Valley so I brought the truck to them. I was very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge of my truck's systems.Labor rate is at the high end but Christensen warranties all their work for 2 years/24000 miles!I am knowledgeable regarding auto mechanical systems and feel confident that my truck is back in top shape. It runs like new now and should give me years of service.AAA discount was available.

They are efficient, really good and high quality. They have decent prices and I will use them again in the future.

We use them all the time. They are reliable. We have used them for several years for our two automobiles. We are certainly satisfied with the service they deliver so we continue to go back. We had some problems with parts but that wasn't their fault, it was the manufacturer's fault. We are planning to continue using them.
