Hair Salons/Barbers
I'm new to the area, and I have a bad cowlick that makes my hair look goofy on one side. Probably 70% of the time I go to a new place I'm left dissatisfied when the barber / stylist / whatever fails to account for what my hair does, and instead cuts it as if they were cutting from a training wig. Needless to say, I wasn't looking forward to finding someone new that I was happy with their results, but Charlie did a great job - he gave me a nice, clean hair cut with good conversation.
I went at a slow time of day, and after my cut I ended up hanging out and chatting with Charlie for awhile. He's very personable and entertaining to conversate with, really nice guy.
Not only did I find a barber that I'm happy with on the first try, but I also made a new friend.
