Excellent. They came right out, Took pictures, gave us an estimate of the repairs. Two days later we were expecting a lot of rain and they came right out and worked miracles to prevent any more leaks in our house. They are by far the best.

I was trying to get a leaky roof fixed before a coming winter storm hit.  Other contractors were not able to schedule time as they were all busy.   When I called Burke Roofing, they explained that they too had a full schedule.  I mentioned that I live in an area that gets hit hard in the winter with snow and if I couldn't get a leak fixed before the snow hit,  I'd likely be leaking until the spring because a roofer can't work with snow on the roof.   As of today, the roof was dry but snow was due tonight.   The owner Bill personally came out late in the day, despite having an already full schedule.  He found the likely cause of the leak and repaired it as night was falling.   Talk about great service!   The price was fair and Bill was a very personable and professional guy.  I am planning to have him back in the spring to go over the entire roof and perform whatever maintenance is needed.

It went well.  They sent a large crew to strip the old roof and clean up the mess.  Then a single roofer installed the new shingles and vents.   It took a couple of days but the work looks great.   I'm a little demanding and ask a lot of questions.  He took the time to address my concerns and make sure I was happy with the work.   I had 4 bids on my roof.   Burke's price was competitive and I think their solution to my old houses venting needs was the best offered.

They were exceptional. They don’t even do advertising. They go on recommendations. They are used by contractors I know. We had a wind event during some of this period and there wasn’t any question whatsoever from the owner that his people were not going up there under those circumstances. So he was watching out for his people and I appreciate that. If he is watching out for his people, then he is probably going to also be watching out for me. That seems like kind of an odd connection but they just waited a day and they were still able to get the work done within the middle of the week which was important for us because it would not have been possible to hold services when that stuff was off the roof and what not. They got it done quickly and very safely for their people. The product was very good. I think we got a forty year roof. For that, he offered a awful lot of suggestions and information because of the kind of the roofing that we had, we had no insulation at the top and we were looking at what kind of cost will be involved in order to put something on top of it. It turned out we didn’t do it because it was beyond our budgetary constraints but he was working with us all the way, didn’t push us in one direction or other, so I did not feel like the church was being mishandled. I would recommend them to anybody. We did a pretty careful analysis of cost and they were at least as good as anybody else.

Burke was very friendly and was one of the only people that would come out and do work in Red Rock, even though he is farther away than other contractors. Went out the day after I contacted him and gave me an estimate. The price was reasonable so we scheduled the work to be done that Saturday. My only complaint is that he did not call us on Saturday and let us know he would not be able to make it until the next day, because another job took longer than expected. I found out to when I called and asked what time to expect them on Saturday. Took them about 3 or 4 hours and they color matched the shingles that were already on the roof. Overall I am happy with the work, I would have preferred more communication though.

When we first contracted with Burke Roofing, we had intended to only replace the roof tiles. After looking over product materials, it was decided that we would also install two skylights. The skylights are solar powered, so they open, have screens, and power shades; none of which require electrical connections. The day of the skylight install, we decided to also install two sun tunnels. Upon seeing how much light the sun tunnels provide in the bathrooms, we requested a third sun tunnel, which was installed that afternoon. Instead of simply forming a box from the roof, to the ceiling, as some installers will do, Burke's installer formed out the box so the inside slants with the trusses, providing a tremendous amount of light. The skylights are wonderful, they are high quality, fully solar, and qualify for a 30% federal tax credit!
We are extremely pleased with the customer service, attention to detail (they draped plastic around the inside of their working area to limit dust during the skylight and sun tunnel install), and very friendly and responsive employees.  Mr. Burke even made a visit during the install to make sure we were happy!

The job went quickly and without any delays

We contacted several roofers for estimates and we really liked this owner/estimator.  His bid was slightly higher (not by much) than the low bid.  We contacted him and he met the other bid.  From the time they arrived until they left, everything was handled as promised.  The roofing was handled quickly, clean-up was excellent and we have been extremely happy with the skylight shade and light tube.  I would recommend this roofer, unequivocally.

I own a home that was built in 1979 that had old wood shake roofing on it. I called 6 local roofing companies for estimates to replace the wood with composition shingles. Of the 6 companies, only three returned my call. Burke Roofing was the first to contact me for an appointment, was the most knowledgable and was the most attentive to my needs. Their price was fair in comparison to the other two bids I received and when I asked, they readily provided proof of insurance. Unlike the other 2 roofing companies, Burke always answered my questions and didn't make me feel stupid for asking them! They showed up on time, finished the job when they said they would and left my yard spotless! Everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful. They did a beautiful job and I love my new roof!
