Plumber showed up and quickly diagnosed the problem, but then had to leave and go back to the business and get the proper tool to fix the pipe.

He arrived a little earlier than expected. That was okay. We were ready for him. He came in and immediately asked where the problem was. He went into the guest restroom with me and I flushed the toilet for him. He listened to the loud vibrating noise I told him about. He know right away what the problem was. He went out to his truck and came back with a new float valve. He installed it in about 5 minutes. Then we went to the master bathroom and took measurements for a new shower. Another 5 minutes and a brief explanation of what needed to be done. He was done in about 15-20 minutes. The part he replaced was about $12.00 + tax. He charged 1.5 hours at $90.00/hour. I think he should have charged for more like 0.5 hours. That is why I gave him a B on his price. I did not mind too much though. I am happy the noise is gone.
